She leads you to the left and takes a key out of her apron unlocking the door and opening it for you.

The man turns and summons the buxom woman speaking to her quickly before she turns around and motions for you to follow her.

Ha, true enough. And I'm Saito, nice to meet you. He gives a little bow before wandering off to see to another group of customers.

Yeah sure. What wre your names?

The man sets out your foods and drinks. No. We get some sailors in here looking to escape for a night or two, but we rarely see kids coming in here unless they're looking for a few copper for sweeping the floor.

Alright so that's 3 teas and 2 sailors specials. That's 2 coppers for each tea and 3 for each fruit platter.

And you girl? What do you want?

Some lord is visiting the mayor. As to the price it depends on what you want. Come on and sit down.

The man grunts. Can't blame you for that. Last time I was on a boat I was hanging over the side. It's half a gold. You kids want something to eat?

Generally speaking if you wanted something to eat at an establishment like that you brought the ingredients yourself. And sorry for forgetting to answer, no they weren't bearing any standards are marks on their armor.

The man looks you over then looks over at the other kids. Your a strange lot to be traveling together. Where're your folks?

As you move through the city you begin to notice things. The streets hold several men in full armor moving around warily. You also hear that a lord has come visiting and brought with him a large amount of forces. You do your best to blend in before reaching the tavern. It's called the Jade lion, going in you notice there are many tables to the side where various men are eating, in the corner one man has a wheel set up playing games of chance, a rather busty maiden is moving throughout the room while a bartender pours everything from tea to sake over to the side.

How much do you want to spend on a place to sleep? With this being a busy port town the inns range from poor to good.

I don't know why you'd think she'd be there but if you're all agreed we will proceed. Deneb you see nothing to indicate where she has gone but you've also left the area where you're not even sure she was.

The smile on my face right now.

Don't forget who broke into whose house here boy. She spits out venomously.

She's palming the handle of a dagger.

Then go. We don't know you and we're not risking you killing us in our sleep. She clenches her hand at her side. (perception checks)

The redhead thinks for a moment. If ya give me yer weapons you can stay.

Waiting on you guys to come to a consensus

You guys gonna go?

Lilith shrugs8. Geez I don't know. Go look for something.

Lilith looks thoughtful for a second. Go steal something?

Lilith pauses chewing as she thinks. I'm sure there are but I can't think of any. However, if you really wanted to stay you might do something to prove to Mr. Feygon that you're serious.

He leaves some money, and the older kids know how to pick pockets and the younger ones do a bit of begging.

She shrugs. I wasn't gonna ask. And I can't say. He's been gone up to a couple of weeks at a time when he's working a job.

Not from around here huh? I'm Lilith. My family came over here from across the sea too.

The girl begins scooping out some of the food. Well I can't say it's fun, but Mr. Feygon keeps food in our bellies. What's your name?

It was simply a matter of hooking up with a group. He has no affiliation with the clan.

Sorry, was sleepy when I wrote that, and noted it earlier but forgot to post about it. It's supposed to say worked for.

Mr Feygon is a local thief who is known for employing young children as thieves. Being up on his dues, the local thieve's guild leaves him alone so long as his business doesn't interfere with other members of the guild. Several of your older acquaintances for a short period of time while dumped into the city for their final test.

But Mr. Feygon, he'll be mad. Unless you join us! He never turns down someone who wants to join us.

Deneb, you gonna do anything?

A red headed girl around the same age as you pokes her head out. You have food?

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17Out of the corner of his eyes Deneb notices a small red haired person peaking between the the thick beams of the banister.

Perception checks. Guess we lost Ai, so now I get to turn her disappearance into something fun!

You all hear a sudden creak up near the top of the flight of steps.

Deneb hears the conversation start back up before you hear someone carefully moving across the floor upstairs.

Hanu nods when you say "Or just children?"

Think more like assassin bureaus as appeared in the first game of assassin's creed. The monkey skitters off and after awhile comes back. It attempts to mime. It shows three fingers to you. then folds it arms and makes a rocking motion with them.

You hear whispers and soft shushing but nobody calls back.

Seriously, you're just gonna walk in? Just because something looks dilapidated doesn't mean it's being squatted in. But you said it, so out comes the Die of Decision. Odds it's a legal residence. Evens they squatters. Die of Decision: 1d2 ⇒ 2

The door creaks open, screeching as the rusty hinges attempts to keep you out.

You see candles burning in an upstairs window.

Making random landmarks is one thing Valdis. you tell me what you're looking for, and I supply possibilities.

Finding an abandoned spot within the city may be difficult but the best spots to begin searching would be the warehouses by the docks, or the slums.

The area around the road has been well patrolled and coming out of a hard winter the local wildlife's numbers haven't rebounded enough for them to go far afield so you see little that could threaten the four children. Near the wee hours of the morning, with the sky beginning to lighten the four exhausted (status effect) children make it to the port town. No wall protects this town so you can just walk right in.

The travel takes longer than thought, the port town further than the inexperienced ninjas believed and night is setting in.

You all are knowledgeable enough to remember the port town.

The symbol depicts a crane with it's wings above it's head.

You're able to sneak away, the noise of the working men, the fire, and the snap, crackle and pop of burning fat further masking your moves.

For just a brief second you're thankful your upwind of the burning bodies.

Your attempt to stay in the forest is wise as you see bodies of your fallen comrades being tossed in a pile. Men, Women and Children are covered in wood, paper, the sacred writings and hidden knowledge of your clan before being set afire by the attackers. The men wear the armor of the Samurai,

I would remind you that you don't know if your clan survived at this point, let alone that you need to rebuild. Please try to let the story flow naturally.

You guys are the driving force. I will simply provide adjudication, opportunities, and challenges. But you must actually do things for me to work with unless you wish me to force random ninja attacks on you. The hollow partially returns to it's previous state, though perhaps lessening the tracks to the hollow might have been a better use of such magic.
