Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to bow out of this game. I appreciate everything you have all done, but I wont be able to continue. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 with evasion.

Do we have a map or anything?

init: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Semar will move up, draw his dagger as he moves, use arcane strike, and throw it at the dog.

attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
damage: 1d4 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 2 = 18

Semar will join them.

perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (8) + 20 = 28
stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34

Semar snaps his fingers and dismisses his disguise.

"I guess there is no sense in pretending to be a harmless noble after that fight."

He moves up to to Endrick.

"Happy to help, lets see what you've got here."

"It might be a good idea, but don't let them get near you."

Semar will activate arcane strike and throw his returning dagger at the last devil.

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (8) + 19 = 27
damage: 1d4 + 24 ⇒ (1) + 24 = 25

He will quickdraw another dagger and throw it.
attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (14) + 18 = 32
damage: 1d4 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20

He will quickdraw another dagger and throw it.
attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26
damage: 1d4 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22

The returning dagger flies back to his hand.

Let me know if the creature dies before the second or third attack so that I know how many daggers to retrieve.

He would likely just counter the first one. Not that it really matters because they all miss anyway. So the first one that attacked him gets 26 vs ac, for 22 damage.

Semar will take a step and full attack the devil.

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (9) + 19 = 28
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (3) + 22 = 25

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39
confirm: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (17) + 19 = 36
damage: 2d4 + 44 ⇒ (3, 1) + 44 = 48

attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (4) + 22 = 26

will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Semar will take a 5 foot step, quickdraw his dagger, activate archaeologist's luck, and full attack the devil in front of him.

attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (13) + 18 = 31
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22

attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 20 = 21

if anything attacks Semar:

Opportune parry and riposte
attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37
if this meets or exceeds the attacker's roll, their attack misses and I get a free attack.

attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22

Semar looks around the room for the missing person, then to the accused painting.

percept: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (14) + 20 = 34
Semar will use his lore master ability to take 20 on KN Arcana on the painting to know what is going on, as a standard action. Total (20+9)=29

If 29 is not high enough to get all of the info:

Semar uses gallant inspiration
inspiration: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5
New total = 34

"Yes, see for yourself. We can wait."

Semar's disguise self lasts 80 minutes, is it safe to assume that we have been 5 or 10 minutes so far? If so, that should leave enough time after they return to finish our business before my 'carriage returns to a pumpkin' per say.

Were those assists to my initial diplomacy, or are we doing another check? I'm not sure if I should roll again.

"It might be best to leave the paining covered and continue with the party. We would like to speak to you in private when you are available."

"Mr. Belfor. I assure you, you do not want to do that."

Semar makes it very clear that he does not mean that he will cause any problems, but rather it is another source that will cause the disturbance.

diplomacy: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24

"Gentlemen, go back to your meal, no need for hostilities."

diplomacy: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26

"Let's avoid any more confrontations with these...partygoers. This way to Belfor."

Semar then tries to head in the pointed direction.

Semar will walk alongside Kaydanna, assisting her diplomacy.

Diplomacy Assist: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35

Before they walk up to the gate, Semar will snap his fingers and instantly change into a well dressed and groomed human noble. Disguise self spell like ability

"Stay a couple steps behind me, I'll get us in."

Semar clears his throat, and walks confidently towards the servants. He speaks with the rhythm and diction of a poet, and the arrogance and elitism of nobility. His accent, however, is slightly foreign.

"Ah yes, we are here to meet with Belfor."
diplomacy: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37

Sorry for the delay. I am back in town now and good to go.

Semar will ask around about Darius Finch.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33

Google maps is not liking mobile while traveling so I will only be able to update myself on the map rarely. If someone would be so kind as so keep me with the group, I appreciate it. Semar gets a free roll to detect traps when he gets within 10ft so I'm not too worried about stepping on the wrong thing. Also if I am delayed on posting you can gmpc me or cartmanbeck (Ingrid) can post for me possibly.

Semar will follow the group, taking 10 on perception. (Result = 30)

Sorry for the delay. I have been traveling and will be until April 4th. I should have internet, but if I lag behind, please gmpc me.

Semar will 5 foot step forward, reactivate archaeologist's luck, and attack the nearest one.

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24

attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 20 = 21

crit confirmations:

confirmation 1: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22

confirmation 2: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (8) + 19 = 27
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22

52/60HP

As much as I hate to admit/point this out. It looks like I had a crit confirmation against me. Should I use those rolls as crit + confirmation and have you roll another against me? If so, I took 8 and am awaiting more.

Semar will 5 foot step, use arcane strike, and full attack with haste.

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (2) + 22 = 24

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38 crit chance
attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25 confirmation roll
damage: 2d4 + 44 ⇒ (4, 4) + 44 = 52 52 damage if it confirms, 26 if not

attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (3) + 22 = 25

Semar will use arcane strike as a swift, 5 foot step, and continue his assault.

He will not continue archaeologist's luck, instead he will allow lingering song to continue the effect for this round and next.

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (4) + 22 = 26

attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (14) + 19 = 33
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (1) + 22 = 23

attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
damage: 1d4 + 22 ⇒ (2) + 22 = 24

dungeoneering: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Semar will draw his dagger as a free action, use archeologist's luck as a swift, and stab the northwest horror as a standard.

attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33
damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24

He will then take a 5 foot step out of the groups way.

Semar will move ahead to check the side room.

perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40

Semar will also wait to let Kaydanna check.

Works for me as well, Semar has a wand of cure light for out of combat, and a 3 level 3 spells which include cure serious. He can take care of himself and help out heals out of combat. I agree though, try not to get hit!

Also, Zat, is your character updated for level 8?

Semar would see if he knows anything about the person who sent this letter, or other useful tidbits.

kn local: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

Failing that, he would chat up some of the locals before heading to the manor.

diplomacy gather info: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29

One thing to note for Semar is that he is a walking trapfinder. He has the rogue talent trap spotter that gives him an automatic perception check when coming within 10ft of a trap, and +20 perception.

Semar is ready to go.

I just need to copy the info from my google doc into the profile and buy mundane items.
