Is it too late to express interest? This char was made for a runelords game but did not get selected. I can bring her up to date if the DM is still accepting applications.

Well this is an embarrassing turn of events: Apparently the GM of a We be Goblins game that I'm a part of is running that module as a prequel to his very own Jade Reagent adventure. Since it doesn't make much sense for me to be in 2 JR games at once (I completely forgot about the Goblins game being a prequel), I would like to withdraw Seika from this game unless anyone has major objections. Again I apologize for hitting that reply button before taking inventory of the games I'm in. :P

Seika, I think you'll be fine as you are. Ranger is probably one of the most useful classes for Jade Regent. In addition, I don't think you'll need to worry about traps. They are so few and far between in Jade Regent that you guys should be able to easily tank the few that you encounter.

Awesome! I'll start bringing her mechanics up to spec then.

I don't mind delaying for Traygan. We can use the week to adjust our characters. If everyone can post their roles and the general mechanics of their character, that would be a good start.

Here is for Seika:
Scout/ranged combatant. Helps the party get along in the wild.
Can take an archtype to get trapfinding if we don't have a rogue.
Can switch to being a druid if we need a divine caster.

Expressing my interest. She is a fairly vanilla ranger archery build for a Rise of the Runelords game but was not selected. I'll make adjustments to fit the setting and group dynamics once the selection process is settled.

Hmmm as for movies, I got a few:

Shindler's List - Oscar Shindler is a real man - successful, personable, true, and righteous.

Forrest Gump - This man embodies both effortless action, a central idea of Taoism, and non-clinging, a central idea of Buddhism. Plus a lot of people complain that the movie is too christian/conservative. So I see him as a master of all three traditions and, if I maybe so brazen, very close to the ideal human being - the only improvement I can see is in Intelligence.
