The new Scarred Lands has been kickstarted (and released) as "Scarred Lands Player's Guide" for Pathfinder and 5E. There are lots of options for characters in this setting (i got the PF version) plus some background on the setting, plus a bunch of unique beasties published earlier under 3.0/3.5 .

They are talking about a new Creature Collection to be kickstarted next.

I do find it a little weird that that this pdf says "The cleric possesses a single benefit most other characters do not: the ability to wear heavy
armor and cast spells without a chance of failure. the ability to wear heavy armor and cast spells without a chance of failure."

While this is true, it does not mention the fact that a cleric does not start out with proficiency with heavy armor.

is this adventure path geared to certain types of characters i.e. races and/or classes?

I'm considering purchasing the print/pdf bundle...when can we expect Book Two of this series?

so...Paizo..is there ANY word as to when you will get the print version in stock?

I normally buy my paizo books from Amazon...but according to their page on "Dungeons of Golarion" this product won't be released til January 2012..wtf??

Frog God Games must have purchased the series because in August 2011 they are releasing 'The Tome of Horrors Complete' a 1000 page massive hardcover with all the monsters from Volumes 1, 2 & 3 for the Pathfinder rules (and the same book is available separately using the rules for the Sword & Sorcery rpg..an old school circa 1974 D&D clone).

Yes this particular problem has been identified in the errata now. The errata now says "Page 414—In the Doors section, under Secret Doors, remove the last sentence of the first paragraph."

The sentence in question says "Elves have a chance to detect
a secret door just by casually looking at an area."

So Elves NO LONGER have the chance to detect secret doors that they used to have.

where is the print version of this? I don't see it even for pre-order

I pre-ordered "HERO System—6th Edition Complete Library: Character Creation/Combat and Adventuring" print edition. These are the 2 core books for the new Hero 6th Edtion. The problem is...is that the books are, apparently, available SEPARATELY (ie you can order them now from the Paizo store)...but not together as a set (like the one I pre-ordered from the Paizo store). Why is the 'Complete Library' not available yet...but the separate books are?

At least this is what it looks like...since "HERO System—6th Edition Complete Library: Character Creation/Combat and Adventuring" is still apparently only available for 'preorder'.

When is the print edition of this going to be in? I have been anxiously awaiting my preordered copies of this...and i understand that Hero has filled all their orders for this since the books came back from China

Is this ALL creatures from from the 3.5 Monster Manual? (with a new take on them of course) or will we see others?

ok..but this item in the store just says "Hero System - 6th Edition Hardcover"...it doesn't say which of those two books this Hardcover is..

Does anyone know..is this supposed to be the "Hero System:Characters" book or what? I want to pre-order both of the core books.."Hero System: Combat & Adventuring" and "Hero System: Characters"...but this doesn't tell me anything about what this hardcover is.

I am a DM looking for an adventure path with plenty of role-playing..which adventure path has the most amount of role playing in it?

well..darn...there goes my chance to playtest this book..I'm not gonna experiment with a variation of 3.5 that has no index. This game requires it as far as I'm concerned. I WAS going to try it as part of a new campaign I'm running..and if it seemed to work out I'd pick up the final hard cover version. Probably not going to now.

I finally decided to take a look at the Pathfinder Beta version, and I printed it out (so I can actually read it, I don't know about you but I need hard copy).

Anyways I noticed, to my shock, that there's no index. A lack of an index makes this handbook practically unplayable for me. I quite often refer to the index in my regular 3.5 players handbook, and with a new book I would have to learn all over again where everything is.

Are we going to see an index anytime soon??
