PRE-SERVICE HISTORY: Stein was born in in Stuttgart, March 27 1974 to a middle class working family with three brothers and two sisters. Was an avid rock climber in his youth, and took a trip to nearby mountains with friends in the summer between his graduation from school and mandatory service.

SERVICE RECORD: After serving his mandatory term, Stein signed a commission and from there served on peacekeeping missions in Eastern Europe and North Africa. He served in ISAF operation in Afghanistan between 2002 and 2007, then was transferred to undergo the training necessary to enter the KSK. From there, details of his missions are classified, being described only as "special operations necessary to the continued safety of Germany and its people".

APTITUDE EVALUATION: Stein is a highly skilled soldier, equally trained in both hand to hand and ranged combat. He is particularly proficient with knife skills and small arms. His Kommando training has given him an array of useful skills applicable to most operations, particularly stealth ops.

CONCLUSION: Stein is an asset to any team, and seems eager for a change of pace from his current ops. It is recommended that he be allowed service with the United Nations Peacekeepers.

Personality: Bas is, on the surface, easy-going and relaxed. Behind that facade, however, is someone who is prepared to do anything, GIVE anything for a cause or person he deems worthy. When in the thick of things he displays an intensity that borders on the unhealthy. Bas prefers straightforward goals to achieve. Retrieve an asset, gather information, remove an obstacle, etc. and will pursue those goals with a dogged intensity. He also possesses something of a hero complex, thinking the weight of responsibility is usually his to bear for any casualties or failures.
