He fiddles with his magical ring, wishing it would kick in some extra stubbornness to dying like it tends to every morning. If only... not likely though. Guess I'll just need ta keep my dukes up n my chin down.

"Aw crud! Can't let you take all the fun stuff... gimme one each of them things. Just in case." He pilfers the woman's pockets of one bottled fire and one bottled acid.

Scratch scoops up the vial with a yellow toothy grin "Anythin' to help keep this pretty face intact is welcome! Hehe!" He tucks it in an easy to reach pocket and counts up his 5 throwing hammer, 2 hatchets, clan dagger and the rest of his assortment of collected weapons.

"Guess we head down next. Be quiet, maybe Torag's stone muffled our battles up here... maybe." He arms himself with his clan dagger and starts creeping down, eyes on the look up for traps and trickery.

As an aside, have you magic finger wagglers scanned everything for magic up here? Those pools aren't like.. buffs or anything are they?"

After the last minion falls with a splat into the vomit pool Scratch takes a few quiet steps back, breathing heavily and listening for reinforcements. After a short while he clenches his teeth and starts exploring his wounds, then collecting his thrown weapons.

"Easy now Gilly, lemme help ya with all these wounds. I ain't gonna be caught sitting on my thumb while you do all the cleanup!" After she works on the group he'll take a turn around while she rests.

I'll try a craft check on that unID'd mutagen while she does the 40mins of medicine (+6). Since two failed and it takes an hour to reset, Scratch will go back through and give whoever's still injured some DWARVEN medicine!

Scratch moves around the room to check on the patients, seeing if they're right as rain or still in some pain. I think Celvi is full now? Scratch is down 19 after the temp HP. Ed is -20 after the potion and Gillian is -12 after her medicine.

Its pretty clear that Scratch's 'DWARVEN Medicine' consisting of whiskey and dirt rubbed on the wounds works wonders on humans, but his Dwarven body has long since caught on.

Scratch swears as some of the acid seeps through his freshly wiped off hide armor and sears his delicate old man skin. "Cripes, that thing needs somethin' fer its indigestion, and it ain't Dwarf meat!"

With some study and a quick whack whack! against yellow, the Dwarf falls back before the goop melts his shoes.

Edit: Nope, all circumstance bonuses. I'll quick draw and sling a hammer before I do the Draw/Parry. AC23 for the round.

Scratch nods as Ed casts his magic towards the suspicious statue, he takes his eyes into the storage room though to double check for hidden healing potions. There's gotta be more of those around, they've been everywheres so far!

As far as new feats Scratch doubled down on parrying and medicine checks:

Twin Parry (Single Action) (Fighter/Ranger) (Feat 4)
Requirements You are wielding two melee weapons, one in each hand.
You use your two weapons to parry attacks. You gain a +1 circumstance bonus to AC until the start of your next turn, or a +2 circumstance bonus if either weapon has the parry trait. You lose this circumstance bonus if you no longer meet this feat’s requirement.

Robust Recovery: (Feat 2) (General) (Skill)
Prerequisites expert in Medicine
You learned folk medicine to help recover from diseases and poison, and using it diligently has made you especially resilient. When you Treat a Disease or a Poison, or someone else uses one of these actions on you, increase the circumstance bonus granted on a success to +4, and if the result of the patient’s saving throw is a success, the patient gets a critical success.

He wrinkles his brow as he hears the commotion in the kitchen drawing his hammer and clan dagger to investigate, peeking in through the cracked door. Stealth sounds good. +7

The old dwarf cusses and splashes a bit of rubbing alcohol on his battered and beaten self, and doesn't follow it up with a soothing dirt rub. The effects are miraculous. The cranky old fella looks like a new man.

"Huh. Gotta say, feel much better without the dirt..." Scratch heads to the southern door, doing his best to keep quiet.

Once the last bird bites/becomes the dust Scratch huffs and puts away his weapons. He wanders the room to retrieve his tossed hammers and give it a good once over. "I swear I ain't tryin' ta be soft, but we gotta take it slow. This old bod of mine just ain't running on rocket fuel these days."

He looks over at Gilly and frowns a bit too "Gilly, you look like yer punch drunk yerself. Let's have a seat in that overstuffed library and take a read and rest up."

One or two hits and Scratch will be on the floor with his 16/49 hp. Do we have healing left or should we just camp out some wheres? We at least need to wait for the hour to be up for medicine checks. In the meantime give this library a better searching.

"Animal snares, score!" Scratch mumbles, louder than expected. Shoving the foraging treasures into his already loaded pack. "Can't never ever have too many bunny snares Unc would say.... oh. Let's make sure she didn't set some of these up inside eh?"

He nods, switches to eyes peeled mode and carefully moves through the door. Stealth off, perception on! +9 expert.

Looking now at our current healths... Scratch is at 40/49 so not too badly off. He can't benefit from battle medicine for either himself or Gilly for the rest of the day, and has to wait about an hour for any more regular medicine checks.

How about the rest of you? Spells/Consumables/Etc? There is one lesser healing left from the archer.

Scratch gives the armor a look and a sniff, then looks at his own hide armor, then over at Gilly's leather "May be better on Gilly, I don't think it'll help me much." He differs "Rather have these thick hides than a bit more flexibility." aka: I don't have the dex mod to support light armor without losing AC.

He does however shrug and test the pull on the longbow, aiming it without an arrow towards the bound orc. Can I tell the strength or is that not a set value now? Also, how many arrows we got?

"Ain't no way we should think about camping here over night. If we can get our whits together and enough healin', maybe we should at least try to get inside and see what this place looks like. If we gotta retreat for another day then we can, but we should at least see if she's sittin' in there by herself waitin'."

I'd lean towards holing up in here for an hour to reset our medicine checks, do medicine to heal up, then try to take a peak inside the fortress. Thoughts?

Ya I suggest we hole up there a bit and rest up. Hopefully find some healing consumables.
