Thanks. I actually hadn't even thought to look at style feats. I'll take a look at both.

My friend is starting up a Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign soon. I've never played through it before and in reading up on Korvosa I noticed the Gray District. This, combined with the Unhappy Childhood trait, gave me an idea for a character that would grow into an undead hunter/mage killer with some rogue sprinkled on top. I'm going to list below what ideas I have so far and would like help fleshing it out if anyone is interested.

The game is 20 point buy. My current, though definitely, not final stat array is:

STR: 16 DEX: 14 CON: 14 INT: 12 WIS: 12 CHA: 10

Race Stuff:
Tiefling

Variant Tiefling Heritage Demon (+2 Str, +2 Cha, -2 Int, +2 Disable Device, +2 Perception, Shatter replaces Darkness)
Soul Seer (Deathwatch at will as spell-like ability, replaces Fiendish Sorcery and spell-like ability)

I had another build in mind using a Tiefling's alternate racial trait to have oversized limbs but I noticed the Soul Seer trait and thought that would work thematically with the character.

Traits:
Unhappy Childhood Religious (+2 concentration checks)
Spirit Guide (+2 to knowledge religion and it is a class skill)

Right now my traits are mostly RP focused and don't really do much for the character. I can pick up an additional trait if I pick up a drawback.

Class-wise I'm planning on taking the ACF Spiritslayer because it provides some nice tools in its ease of access to blind-fighting, ability to ignore the +20 DC on perceptions checks vs invisibility, and ability to do precision damage to incorporeal creatures. Once I qualify for Mortal Usher, I was planning on sticking with it until I finished the prestige class. I'm thinking a one-level dip into Vampire Huner could offer some cool things but it would delay precision damage to incorporeal creatures by 2 levels. I also haven't talked to my DM about if he is allowing the class so that might just be a no go.

I've been kind of switching back and forth between using a one-handed weapon with a klar or going two-handed to maximize the free vital strike. Right now I'm currently planning on using a one-handed sword and being a mobile hitter that switches to two-weapon fighting when I can take a full-round attack and sneak attack. Basically, I run around using vital strike looking for an opportune moment. With the klar, the natural armor I get from Mortal Usher, and decent armor, I think I'm going to have some pretty decent AC. I also know Thunder and Fang is a thing but I'm not sure if I want to take it.

Feats I'm getting for free:
Blind-fight
Vital Strike
Improved Vital Strike

Feats and Slayer Talents I'm looking at:
Power Attack
Two-Weapon Fighting via Slayer Talent
Extra Slayer Talent
Accomplished sneak attacker
Painful Blow
Trapfinding Slayer Talent

Almost forgot. The party I'm playing with consists of a rogue focused on social stuff, a swashbuckler taking that rapier ACF (I think), cavalier going full cohort build, and a cleric focused on healing.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
