"Now remember Ardashir may be willing to use us but if he discovers who you are we may be in for a different sort of evening. I am your lover for the night and you mine, perhaps we are accosted with too many questions we should sort out a few important details?"

Sayyid strolls confidently through the streets, Ade on his arm and a half dozen knives cunningly hidden about his person.

Disguise: 7d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 5, 1, 4, 2) + 1 = 29 Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 2 = 31

Sayyid Searches the harbor looking for his friends so that he might explain the situation to them.

"Thank you my friend"
Sayyid and Ade depart.
"We should find our friends and decide what to do next"

"Suitable cloths are also hard to find outside our homeland" Sayyid looks to Ade,
"Perhaps we should move on to this tailor of yours, it may take some time to properly fit the two of us"
"Thank you old friend"

"Interesting, I don't suppose you are looking to figure out just where this Wizard is do you?"
Sayyid thinks for a moment.
"You are going to this party for buisness? Or perhaps you are looking to creat a bit of a stir? Perhaps i can be of help, but if you intened to invite me to such a fine party then i think i find myself underdressed."

" I have heard a rumor, who knows weather it is the one you speak of. Which rumor is it that you speak of?"

"HAHAHAHA, you know me, I traveld the world, got in a few scrapes lead ships as navigator, mapped the stars, mapped the seas, I won bets and much coin, and spent it all. Now I find myself here at your door. You offer me an invitation to this fine party how could I turn down such an invitation."

"Ahh this fine lady is Greah, a fine northern lady, Greah my dear this is an old friend of mine, you will find hime quite the charmer"
after a moment of introductions sayid tries to mve the conversation indoors and towards invitations to the party.
Speaking: 6d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 1, 1, 5, 4) = 15Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 3 18 to subtly move the line of discussion.
"Youu seem to have done well for yourself in this city, How long have you been here?"

"I believe your master is expecting me. Tell him an old friend is calling."
Sayyid relies on the butlers training to do the work.
Persuasian: 7d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 2, 2, 1, 1) + 1 = 17Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 4 =21

After many wrong turns down the unfamiliar citie's streets and several less than friendly locals Sayyid finally leads Ade to the home of his "friend"
"We knew one another long ag before I was the man I am today, he knew me as a young and influential bureaucrat, decadent and free with women. I won't say we can trust him, but he knows my identity, or at least the one I had before. He is grasping... be careful"

Sayyid sighs,
"I do not know how this will end... but it may be our best chance."
Sayyid knocks on the main door.

"Ade, you and I must meet my "friend" perhaps he can provide coin or appropriate clothing for the two of us, it also may be that we must play overs"
after a long pause...
"Is that something you can do?"

"Ade are you up for this?"

Sayyid nods,
"I think perhaps at this point I might as well go, I have already been recognized and there's not like to be any way to disguise myself so no one else will recognize me"
He strokes his now clean jaw..
"I will need a better set of clothes and perhaps someone to distract some attention, perhaps Ade and I enter together with my friend while we find another way to sneak the two of you in. what do you think Asmund?"

Sayyid gets his head clean-shaven, as well as his jawline.
Next he seeks out some more respectable clothing in the fashion of his homeland.
"I would not say we can trust him, but, if we are clever it is possible we can use him. Ardashir knows me as I escaped my homeland, he knows me as a scribe and well-educated man who made his way to the halls of power, though he doesn't know where I came from, and till now, may have thought me dead."

Sayyid pauses...
"It may be that he seeks to use me to embarrass others. It may be to our advantage, but we would do well to make sure he doesn't learn who you are or about the others."

Sayyid turns to Asmund,
'It seems i will not be hiding here"

Sayyid laughs allowed and claps his old friend on the shoulder.
"You find me on my way to groom myself for just this reason, I must crop and tame this wild hair of mine."
Sayyid runs a hand through his hair and along the beard starting to creep along his jawline.
"Ahh forgive my manners, I have been caught up in finding an old friend, let me introduce you to my large friend, this is Rashe, a lord of the cold north. we have only barely managed to make it here in time."
Sayyid nods slightly to Asumund.

"Agreed"
Sayyid looks to shave his head clean.
As well as search for some clothes befitting a well-off merchant captain.

Asumund and Sayyid now having delivered the cargo head into the market as well.
Sayyid looks for a barber.
"I think it is time to make it harder to discover who we are"

"Sir, we have some papers for you to look over and silks for you to unload"
Sayyid shows the associate the papers and indicates that he should follow to the ship.

"Come I will lead the way, though I don't know the city I know where these silks must go"
Sayyid wears his ring mail under his flowing robes and cloak and carries his sword openly on his hip, the many knives he hides beneath the folds of clothing

"I say we do what we can to disguise ourselves and work to learn more of what we can do, and whom we might persuade to aid us"

"I think we can run all we like, but there is likely no better place to hide than in a city as crowded as this. Perhaps we can even gain advantage in some manner here"

I think Sayyid is going to dump 6 points into persuasion to get a +2 and then save the other 2 points for later
Justification
Sayyid spent a good amount of time bargaining and convincing and seems to have been most successful in those comparisons

Sayyid smells the salt air and looks out over the port,
"We are one small boat among many here, perhaps the clutter and business of the area will shield us, I think it might be prudent to separate the two of you while ashore" He nods at Ade and Asmund.
Sayyid sets Taliba aloft and smiles sadly,
"we should also consider finding better disguises for ourselves, perhaps we can learn something while here, perhaps we can find some enemies of the Magisterium"

"Our guest seems no better than he had been when we first brought him aboard, perhaps we should consider other options."
Sayyid thinks for a moment'
"I am no healer, however, he does seem to be worsening, Ade, if there is little you can do it seems he will not make it"

'Ahh interesting, and who is your friend P.? surely you must call him something? and how many coins did you receive for trying to attack us? I hope you didn't do so on faith and greed alone."

Sayyid whistles to call Taliba too him.
'Take your time, don't rush your answers, try to gather your thoughts and don't leave anything out."

"Semwell you say, you are a smart man, know your letters, I'm a sailor. I know waves and stars, tell me, what does this letter say, read it to me?"
Sayyid produces the letter and hands it to the man.
"If you would"

'Ade see to the man, I'll take over the sails, watch him carefully"

Sayyid moves above deck and whistles for Taliba, then sets the fastest course.

"Let us set the sails and leave this place"

"I say we sail now, no reason to wait till we have from the man if he doesn't talk we can drop him in the sea. If he gives us what we want we can drop him in port."
Sayyid winks as he mentions dropping the man in the sea.

'Agreed

Sayid thinks for a moment
"Perhaps we take a moment to pick up another cargo? or some such story?"

"Yes indeed, we move with the tides this evening, once we are loaded and secured we leave, I'll take a look at these paper and everything should be ready. Do you have any competitors which might attempt to stall your shipment? or any agents that might intercede in an attempt to delay or halt us?

Sayyid looks over the papers carefully,

[ooc]Assuming we make it to the warehouse uninterupted[/pooc]
"As agreed we are here"

"Agreed, and let's do this quickly, I don't like leaving Ula! alone in the streets like this, no doubt he is able to handle himself but..."

"That is settled then, let us hurry"

"I say we leave the man here. perhaps we guard him but whom? Both Asmund and I needs must meet the merchant broker."

Sayyid looks to the man lying in his own blood, finding the source of the bleeding he does what he can to stop it. cutting several long lengths of cloth from the man's clothing.
Streetwise: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3, 2) = 12Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 3

sayyid slides another knife from the folds of his clothing and walks toward the ruffian laying on the ground.
"You do not look so well friend, do you yet breathe?"
Sayyid nudges the man gently enough to do no damage but firmly enough to get a reaction...

Assuming that I am without my scimitar
Sayyid grunts then flicks a flash of steel from his robes towards his attacker.
"Curses, may you be swallowed by the sands and your names be taken by the wind!!!!!

Sayyid meets the others at the ship and explains the situation,
"My one concern is that we must use the ship as collateral, we should also make sure to cement our expected delivery date. Our ship is fast and barring any interference, we should be able to make it. I am sorry Asmund, I promised your ship to seal the deal.."

Sayyid bids the man farewell...
"At the warehouse in three hours we will be ready"
Sayyid quickly makes his way back to his crewmates to explain the situation

" Agreed, I will meet you with the crew in 3 hours to load our ship, and we will sail today. The ship will do"
