So guys, I'm going to be joining the US military(Army. I'll be shipping out to Basic training on January 2nd and then training for about 6 months.

I'll be basically out of commission as a GM/player from January to almost June of 2018.

I had hoped we would have been able to start that ratfolk campaign before I left, especially with Wei Jei going to great lengths to get me a Ratfolk boon but it looks like I probably won't be able to join you guys on a Ratty Escapade.

I'm still pretty dang interested in making this happen and being apart of it.

My ratfolk can be 1 or 2. I was intending it to be 2 just so It wasn't so dangerous.

Yeah I can be ready pretty quickly for the ratfolk game, I have my character made and what not.

what's everyone kind of thinking for their Rat guy?

I was thinking a Despereaux type rat swashbuckler inspired blade but I have many ideas beside that.

I'll be getting a ratfolk boon here pretty soon so count me in for the ratfolk game.

Breather is fine with me, I'm currently GMing three games at the moment as well, two of them are AP length games.

But I'm getting into the rhythm of things, I could keep going or take a break. I'm pretty easy going, I'll still be here we are ready to continue.

In that meantime I'll try and acquire me a Ratfolk.

I now have 3 stars recharged to burn as well if we need them. I'd enjoy continuing with this group.

Staying quiet during the final proceedings with the Dragon and orcs, she is really hesitant to just let them go. . . but listening to Grandmother has never steered her wrong.

As everyone goes their separate ways, off to explore the far reaches of Golarion, Sarano offers her farewells to her friends.

"Goodbye, Hikaru, be safe in your travels and say hi to the folks at the Circus. ." and to the rest of her friends and companions, "Be safe out there please. .and um I hope to adventure with you guys again one day, for now, I'm heading home. No not to Absalom, Tian Xia, I'm hoping to find my family."

Heading off on her own, Sarano heads back to Absalom, to pay homage to the orphanage where she grew up and then to head across the Ocean, to Tian Xia, to find her home.

I've been working mine up, its gone through a few iterations. I have a real life game tonight. We are nearing the final fight of our AP.

Eeping as the dragon comes scrabbling by her, Sarano presses herself against the wall to avoid getting in the Dragon's way.

Looking into the room, seeing the poor Stirge queen getting diced up, "I. . I think I'll pass on stirge pie this time,"

Probably should have done this before my turn. . .

As an immediate action, Sarano lifts a hand and cast a spell, "Escape Chak Hikaru!!! Don't let her eat youuuuuuuuu!!"

Liberating Command, you can immediately make an escape artist check with a +10 bonus to the roll

Sarano'll then follow up with a well aimed magic missile, peppering the stirge momma!

Magic Missile + Havoc: 3d4 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2, 2) + 3 + 1 = 10

Sarano, tip toes into the room, careful to watch the dragon, eying the stirges, "Why'd it have to be Stirges!"

She'll fling a magic missile into the room, target each of the stirges with one missile.

Magic Missile Lt blue + Havoc of Society Trait: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5

Magic Missile Lt green: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Magic Missile Purple?: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Sarano will hang back by the entrance of the room, afraid to let the Dragon be behind her.

I don't know what I taste like. . . but if that dragon roasts me it'd probably be something like chicken. . . and I don't want him to find out what I taste like,

She watches the dragon carefully, ready for any sign of betrayal.

Frightfully looking around at Chak's mention of betrayal, "What do'ya mean betray us, they wouldn't do that. . . they agreed to help us, guys."

Looking down the pit while trying to stay as far away from the edge as possible, "I wouldn't want to fall down that. . .Let's keep exploring,"

would copious castings of prestidigitation not be able to clean the mess up?

Watching in fear from outside the room, "You can do it!"

Forcing herself to take another look because something just wasn't adding up as she thought about the hanging corpse.

"Guys. . the body well it looks like it was burnt long after being hung up based on the scorch marks which are like splatter marks but the blood burns onto the wall, I don't know where the fluid is coming or why it would still be leaking, maybe someone shoot it or something. . ."

She'll charge up a magic missile and being brave will position Andrietta between her and the body and fire off three little birds to strike the body.

Okay, I'll add a follow up, yeah I'm really amazed I've survived this long. I'd be kind of afraid to take it into another group, worried people would think I'm just trolling.

Yeah, I could fall 20 feet and be knocked unconscious. a 5th level wizard could kill me outright with a magic missile D: and wouldn't even need to roll max damage lol.

After Andrietta comes out of the pool, Sarano stands ready to clean her off but its gets distracted as Gallako comes in. . "Oh. . um. .Gallako. . okay, yeah she looks pretty clean now. . .yeah. . ."

She'll take her charged prestidigitation and clean off some feathers trying to stay unnoticed. .

She'll try and examine the Kukri she brings out too. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

"Its uh. . .a bloodletting Kukri, it well. . .its really good at cutting people and uh well making them bleed. . "

As they enter the room, Sarano gets one sniff of the charred orc corpse and almost hurls, she has to cover her beak to prevent it. Peeking at the corpse through covered eyes.

Heal: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23

Speaking through the nausua, "Guys. . .something is wrong with that thing, it shouldn't be bleeding. . hgurrrgh. .oh man. . yeah its a month old at least. . I'd be careful guys. . that's just not natural," Sarano turns around, unable to look at it any longer.

Sniffing the air, trying to get a sense of the filth.

Her eyes go wide, "I know this smell, it. . it smells like Cackle Fever oddly enough. I'd be very careful Andrietta, you can go mad if you catch it, I'd hate to see that,"

Looking around at her allies, "I can't create water but I can have a prestidigitation ready to clean you off,"

I'm starting to feel that over whelm as well! I hope sarano doesn't die off adventuring without her flock

Watching the process intently she doesn't even notice Tharg sneak up on her, Sarano lets out an eep of surprise and jumps back a few feet, before looking down and addressing Tharg. "Uhm. . well Tharg it has to cook first. . so after it cooks we can eat it. . .but like Grandmother says. . its best not to ask too many questions, just watch and enjoy."

Sticking to the back of the group, trying not to draw any ire of the dragon, Sarano seems quietly in thought.

How we can be doing this, surely these creatures are evil. . . what if we deal with them, let them go and then they murder some nice people. . . like. . a farmer or something . . .

Peeking around the corner, to put her two cents in, "Well, we were asked to return her remains if possible. . .so I think they do miss her, mister uh. . dragon, sir. . "

Seeing Tharg fall and get wet, "Oh Tharg, here come here and I'll help you, hold still, I will dry your clothes for you,"

She'll cast prestidigitation drying his clothes off, offering what passes as a smile for a Tengu.

As the male voice calls out, Sarano lets a small eep and heads to the back of the flock, "Guys. . .Don't let him eat me, I don't want to be a roasted Tengu,"

Resist Energy lasts 50 minutes for me, I cast it back when Shiresh first did her little fire blast entrance deal, would it still be active or was the tea party too long

Taking Stali's offer of help, Sarano will hold his arm or the rope as he leads her across.

I think I'm the only one without a Ratfolk boon so far, I am not likely to get one, but that's okay! This tengu party has been plenty fun for me :)

Okay, as long as its not clear if the dragon is good or bad maybe thats where some of my confusion is coming from.

That its purposely left vague makes me feel a little better.

Oh no worries, I just got lost a little bit on if the dragon is a good guy or a bad guy.

Some of its my fault, I've been having a tougher time in real life with work-home-life balance issues going on.

Still wary of dining with a bunch of Orcs, this clearly is not Sarano's. . .cup of tea.

At the fire explosion of the wagon, Sarano will shy away from it, still wary of this lunatic orc.

But in an attempt to help, she'll call out to the orc, "I'm Sarano, I'm a healer, if you have wounded, I can try and help them. . ."

Before rejoining the party, Sarano will cast Resist Energy(Fire) on her self, and then slowly walk up to join the party, keeping on eye on the orc.

muttering quietly to herself, "If she just wanted to talk why throw fire blasts around. . .a simple hello does nicely. ."

Sarano lets out an eeps as that fire blast would have been enough to obliterate her from existence.

She then backs up slowly.

She'll tentatively step onto the floor, looking around to make sure nothing happens before joining the group.

Walking up to the gargantuan glowing skull examining it, offering up a shrug, "I don't know what's up with that skull. . .but. .yeah"

Sarano looks confused as Stali speaks Tengu, but still too shy to ever admit she doesn't know Tengu.

"Yeah. .that's a good idea Stali, we should keep the orcs here until we deal with the dragon. . ."

Sarano'll will pull out her mess kit and begin laying out some of the razors within, grinning at Chak, "you know, I've never had Orc liver before. . .but I'm sure it'll be delicious," She'll use prestidigitation to mark a big red X on the Orc where his liver would be.

"You know, I am a pretty good surgeon, I can remove his liver and keep him alive long enough he could watch us eat it," Giving her best evil laugh at this notion. "Muahahahah"

I really need to buy a healer's kit and a surgeon's kit next time I'm in town!

Looking closely at the scales, "Yes, its definitely a reptile not a fish," Picking one up carefully, to examine it closely, "Gods, it came from a dragon, a red dragon, I can't tell the age but, we should tread carefully. . ."

Listening intently to the philosophies being tossed back and forth realizing none of it is for her but acknowledging the beauty of belonging that comes with such burial rites.

"Indeed, we really should explore the rest of this place and if possible convince the big orc lady to leave this place. . in peace if possible,"
