Thanks that looks interesting but is not how they have designed for the actual bestiary.

If you take a look that zombie is not even close to what they have suggested in that guide.

so two are outside the rule.

So you can do your own but you can't reproduce what is in place. So I can't understand what was the design for the bestiary.

In 1.0 you can nearly reproduce every monster with the provided rules, here you can't.

I would like to know if there are some written rules about monster creation or how stats are built.

Let's take an example:

A good example is how savings are calculated? Is there a common rule for the undead?
The same applies to HP or melee actions.

What is trained and what is not?

Because I would like to build some monsters, but looks quite hard without specifics rules

Hey all,
probably that has been asked but I can't find a good answer that fit my case.

I'm the DM running a campaign, what I would like to do is to faster the combat, for some reason, and for doing so Im searching for one or more tools that can help me during combats.

I already have BattleTrack on Android that is quite good but does not fit all my needs. Can be multiple tools adapted. Both pc or Android are fine.

I would like to have:

- characters sheets or relevant information with the possibility to trow dices. Example having all abilities to do knowledge, perception, etc.. checks.

- monster database with the possibility to add them to the encounter for attack and damage rolls. imagine something like to BattleTrack but improved with the possibility to roll attacks and damage (basic at least) along with the monster turn. If it is something separate is fine too but there should be the possibility to add the monster and roll his dices.

- track of benefit / malus during the turns. Good examples are the "ending" of an haste spell or something like that.

Something like that exist?

Hi all guys, first I apologize for my bad english!
I'm running as GM a "Rise of the runelords" campaign here in Italy and I have some questions.

Actually my party is a bit under level (level 5 instead of 6) at Foxglove Manner. This because there are 6 players instead of 4.

I would like to use the background of my characters to level up a bit more and expand the universe of this campaign. Here are some of the background parts:

- I have two elves from Celwynvian (I know is used in second darkness) and this is pretty interesting. They left they own city after the dark elves took it.

- One half-orc that use camouflage to look like a pure human. He comes from Urglim and he have some slaves traffic, that he left (reason and lore are too long to write here) for smaller traffic in magnimar. He's a bard.

- I have one dwarf from handerhooff, come here to find the sandpoint devil. He's a druid.

- Two humans, a cleric and a warrior that come from the main city magnimar. They were part of the city guard, but they left it.

Actually I would like to expand the main story of many character as I can OR expand the rise of runelord itself. I already found:
