Please cancel my Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscription. I tried to cancel before the new adventure path ships, but was unable to get through on the phone or email.

So, one of the people in my group wants to run a mammoth rider for this campaign and I wanted to know whether or not this would work due to the size of the mount or whether he would end up frustrated by his choice.

Our group is currently doing the Skull&Shackles AP and we have a five person party. However, out of those members one basically never shows up leaving us with essentially a party of 4 most of the time, but if anyone has anything that makes it so that they are unable to attend it essentially leaves us undermanned. Due to this I would like to make a character that is more capable when we are undermanned, yet preferably won't overshadow people when there are more of us about.

The Party consists of a Dex-based Magus that is pretty optimized and generally knows what he is doing, this guy has yet to miss a session. Next is a Dex-based fighter with the freehand fighter archetype who is mostly disarming people but does have dervish dance. The next guy is possibly going to swap out his bard focused on intimidate and using a whip for a barbarian/possible levels in alchemist. Finally, the peson who never shows up is a gunslinger with the pistolero archetype ruled to use charisma for panache instead of wisdom for grit as we felt it made more sense.

I have two ideas that I have been throwing around in my head for the past few days.

1. This one is a character based on the the martial style called pankration, he would be someone who no longer trusts his own weapons and thereby seeks to make himself into the better weapon that he could finally put his trust into.

2. The other character is a twohanded shield user. Basically, he is someone who during his training was always told that your shield is the most important thing you have as it protects you and your allies, and can be your weapon in such a case. He took this to heart and decided to make himself into a safe spot on the battlefield, his shield would be his allies salvation and his enemies end.

Both of these characters would be a dwarf for the sole reason of me wanting a dwarf character, but I am trying to figure out which will be The Dwarf. So I am looking for people's opinions on which to make and once that is decided then we can build him.

TLDR: Unarmed/Grapple based dwarf or Twohanded shield slam dwarf.

The Advanced Race Guide added a new item in the Oread section called a Belt of Stoneskin. This belt functions as a tenth level stoneskin spell for a day long period, refreshing each day. It seems to me that I would rather have this than a Belt of Mighty Constitution+6 for a wizard or sorcerer, as it provides much more health than a Belt of Mighty Constitution+6 which wouldn't break even until level 33.

So, I was wondering what other people thought of this trade-off and which they would rather have.

So I'm going to start Skull and Shackles in about a month and am looking at what I am going to make. I have a few ideas, but am having trouble narrowing it down to one.

My Party is:
Magus(dex-based w/ Hexcrafter archetype I think)
Gunslinger(Pistolero)
Bard(no archetype as of yet and I think using a whip likes the suggestion ability)
Cleric(not of Besmara)
Fighter(some type of melee)
Me

I am trying to decide between a wizard to give us a full arcane caster, a summoner, or a stealth pirate(ninja) for skill monkey and stealthy guy.

So, my DM is going to have us do Skulls and Shackles in a few weeks and I was looking into the players guide when I saw the Dockside brawler trait and it's mention of Brass knuckles. This drew my interest and seeing as I had also been looking into making a Brawler archetype fighter I checked them out. When I looked them up on the PFSRD I saw this sentence in their listing "You may hold, but not wield, a weapon or other object in a hand wearing brass knuckles." Now I am wondering how I may take advantage of this ability so as to make the Brass knuckles that much more useful. So, my question to the boards is what can I get out the ability to still hold things while using my Brass knuckles?

I apologize ahead of time for the wall of text, but this is something that I have to let out and would appreciate input on.

I have a friend who has played in our past few campaigns and is going to be in the next one pretty much for certain. However, I have a problem with him, he reverse metagames. What I mean is that he quite often does what isn't best in a situation just out of a want to say that he did so and the group will follow so as to keep things going rather than spend 3 hours on an in character argument that could last for hours without him giving ground and generally being stubborn as a mule. Luckily, it hasn't been too bad in our current campaign of Carrion Crown, I think due to the lack of another group member who it feels wants to get into those drawn out situations. However, our next campaign is going to be Skull and Shackles, and if that campaign gets derailed because of that or I have the campaign ruined because of him doing so, well, let's just say you don't want to see a grown man cry.

It seems to have settled down in Carrion Crown, but I'm not sure if that is due to the game being less sandboxy or if it is due to a different DM. Skulls and Shackles, however, will have the same DM as Kingmaker, which was a where he insisted on charging for the bandit lord even though he knew we would lose that fight, then even when we escaped that with our lives he and the other group member were for

Kingmaker plot piece:
executing the defected bandit member and disregarded anything he said to defend himself
, this was the 3 hour argument that we had with their side consisting of mostly repeating that the bandit couldn't be forgiven, even though one of them was a supposedly redeemed bandit from their backstory.

So, I ask what would you do in my situation? I have already talked to him and that gets me nowhere.

As we got out of HoH and into TotB I thought we were done with ghosts for the most part, but our first encounter in TotB was incorporeal. So if someone could tell me avoiding spoilers, how much more incorporeal is there in TotB.

Edit: Well, not the first, but pretty early on.

My friend is going to do a campaign over winter break and it was mentioned that we will be against Santa. I thought it might be neat to make a character themed to a different holiday to take the fat man down.

We will be starting at level 17 and I'd prefer something non-melee whether it be ranged or caster.

I'm playing the Carrion Crown campaign path and it looks like I'll be the only one playing a caster. We have a twf/shield bash paladin, a phalanx fighter who I believe is going trip build, a musket master gunslinger, and a monk who I have no idea what he is trying to do. I was hoping for suggestions on what I should make to try to cover what I can.
