Here is my submission for your campaign Brolof. Syrusa Farin Tiefling Alchemist (Grenadier).
Artemis would partake in the food provided by Roland, especially enjoying the roasted boar as he ate at the table silently, listening to the banter between Joe and Excalibur primarily. He would quickly eye Jellena's departure but wouldn't make a note of it as he returned his full attention to the banter at hand. Finishing up his food, Artemis would pipe up and accept Delman's offer and would go with Delman to the loft once he was finished.
Artemis would look over towards the bartender as he called out towards him, listening to what he had to say, before glancing around the tavern. Artemis takes a seat not too far away from the other patron. "Do you by any chance have some water?" Artemis asked, "I don't exactly have money on me to exactly pay for mead or ale." Thanks for the heads up, the reference to Sven threw me off a bit.
GM Wolf: Artemis would blink at being somewhere other than his now wrecked car, quickly looking around as he soon noticed Alethia. Listening to her, Artemis would be silent, nodding a few times and becoming solemn as he gave her his options. "Well then, considering I am going to pick your second option to go this new world." He ponders a bit and thinks quickly through the options presented, "I would like to pick, in terms of my ability, I will take one of the more accurate bolt-action rifles from the last turn of the century and some ammunition to go along with it." Apparently, Paizo has this AP set in 1918 Russia and I am wanting to try the M1891 from within that AP. If that is too much, I am perfectly willing to take the regular Rifle or Musket instead.
Another question, would the Gun Chemist archetype for the Alchemist be allowed? Asking since the Alchemist doesn't get up to speed with other classes until the Alchemist discovery Fast Bombs at level 8.
Yeah, I figured. I would say at my time of death, I would have had my house key, my Samsung S7, phone charger, my glasses, wallet with license and id. I would be wearing just a pair of jeans, and a Star Wars t-shirt. I will definitely make sure to add that to my character's inventory. Here are the revised stats for Artemis with explanation Str:10 He makes no illusions about being stronger then he is, Artemis don't play sports, but keeps himself decently fit by exercising time to time. Dex:10 Artemis is not like Neo from the Matrix, dodging bullets at close range, and while his height doesn't help him when he do falls down, he feels that his ability to go through tight spaces helps compensate to make him average at dexterity. Con:10 He has been sick fairly often in his childhood, most often with Strep, (a few times a year) until he got his tonsils removed. But, other than the occasional bad cough and the rare case of strep post-surgery, he would say that he is definitely in better condition then when he was younger. Int:18(16+2) He loves learning, especially about history. His dream job has always been to become a history professor. He wouldn't say he is the best at getting his point across, but he knows enough raw knowledge and has the memory to utilize that knowledge to a high degree. Wis:8 Yeah, hes know this is 100% true, he is the type of guy that creates convoluted plans that are going to be flat out denied most of the time in the Pathfinder and DnD sessions that he is apart of, nor is he the guy that does stupid stuff in a session not to help derail the session or to draw attention to himself. The stupid stuff he does do is partly based in a break down of communication, and rooted in the fact that he doesn't fully consider the full plethora of options before him and tends to commit himself to a course of action if he deems it worthy. Cha:12 He can be decently charismatic if he put myself to work, or it comes easily to myself if he is passionate towards the subject/task at hand. Whether it be history, a joke/meme, or an idea, if he can get himself into it, he can be very charismatic. Otherwise, he barely puts in effort into trying to persuade others to follow the suggested course of action , and it shows. Luck:11 He would say he was lucky to be born into the family that he was, gain the knowledge and experience that he did, and enjoy the life that he has. However, he just not as lucky when it comes to finding common interests with others in real life, or just hoping on chance based outcomes. (Rolling a die comes to mind) As for my character, I will get the full build up ASAP. One question, before I do go ahead in character creation, would my character get the bonus ranks in expert that older characters are receiving, even though Artemis' is just only 18?
Well, here goes. Backstory for Artemis:
Artemis was born on February 2nd, 2001 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. With his dad in the Army, Artemis moved around a lot in his early years, traveling from North Carolina, to Texas, and finally South Dakota where his dad retired. Living in South Dakota for a few years, the family soon moved across country to Lewes, Delaware, residing in the countryside away from the coast. An only child, he grew up loving school, video games, and reading about the exploits and tales of long ago. At a young age, he quickly learned he had a passion for all things history, and quickly devoted a good portion of his childhood years to learning and digesting anything he could on the subject, perfectly fine with the small amount of friends he had in school. Growing up, Artemis wasn't the best at not getting sick, getting Strep multiple times and getting H1N1 once, but his young immune system was able to fend both H1N1 and Strep off.
Going to middle school, Artemis quickly got a growth spurt and soon became the tallest student in his grade, and then the school. Still being the quiet and academically inclined boy he was since childhood, Artemis continued to excel into high school, soon beginning to become more extroverted as he joined the upstart messaging system Discord, using the platform for more than just gaming, but to make lasting friends. This approach worked in making lasting friends, giving Artemis the ability and skills to make more friends in real life, introducing him into the world of Pathfinder. Using his online friends, he was able to join his first Pathfinder and DnD group, intrigued by interesting campaigns and settings. While his grades slipped a little in his Sophomore and Junior Year for various reasons, Artemis was able to regain focus and boost them back up to his academic standards.
