She begins to play again, figuring her companions can use the extra encouragement.

Seeing how difficult this creature is to hit and fearing for her friends, Ryiah tries a different strategy.

She murmers a short chant and holds her hand out toward Ralthiss. Her hand is briefly surrounded by a dark haze.

If she hits, he'll need to make a DC 17 fortitude save. Failure means he's flatfooted for one round. Crit fail and he's fleeing for one round if he fails a will save.

The music temporarily stops as Ryiah makes an attempt to attack the spellcaster. "Nice work, gentleman!" she calls out as a piece of wood rises from the floor and flies toward Ralthiss.

Fear provides additional intensity to Ryiah's fiddle music as she sees Brayka take a brutal blow. The song changes tune again and this time Brayka feels the music reinvigorate and heal him.

"I'm spent! That's all the healing I can do!"

Ryiah continues to play, changing the tune of her song slightly. Darg feels a rush of energy flow into him. She has no interest in getting in the thick of things and remains on the stairs at a safe distance.

I'm confused about Darg's HP. Is he at 24 or 29? Assuming he cannot use shield block, it seems he should be down another 5, right? If he's at 24 and no one else heals, Ryiah probably will next turn.

Ryiah struggles to place her side of the statue on the ground without dropping it on her - or Nenyath's - foot. She then starts playing a rousing fiddle song to keep up everyone's spirits in this dark place.

I totally understand the benefit of doing this botting tree, but unfortunately, my life is crazy right now and I can barely keep up with the three games I am in with my own characters. I just can't commit to posting for another player as well. Sorry I can't help.

Her healing spell is soothe which does 1d10+4 healing as well as boosts saves for 1 minute, so I think it gets it's best utility when people are moderately injured and in battle.

Ryiah grimaces as her companions kill off the centipedes and get splashed with their innards. Good thing I don't have to get right up close like that! She sings to inspire them in battle and flings about loose bits of broken furniture to aid in the fight.

Ryiah takes the sword carefully. "Oh, yes, it does match my boots! How right you are, Brayka!" The mood of the other two, brightens Ryiah's mood a bit. Nothing horrible has happened for a bit...maybe they will get out of here alive!

She studies the sword, then shrugs. "No idea what's up with this sword. Darg, I can heal you if you need it, but it might be overpowered for what you've got going on right now. I think Larraz went outside to see Desert Wind."

She will follow the others upstairs. She will continue to search at +5

Ryiah aids in searching each room they enter. She's as systematic as possible, wanting to avoid wasting time by having multiple people search the same area more than once. They are looking for bodies after all. Whether living or dead, the shouldn't be hard to miss!

Ryiah draws her rapier as Darg kicks the couch out of the way. She raises her arm, ready to strike this horrifying creature, when she suddenly realizes he's not an undead monster, or some other equally horrid creature. She quickly lowers her sword.

"Wait, wait, wait! We're not hear to hurt you! We're friends! We didn't think any of you were still alive. We are fellow Pathfinders!"

"Is there another entrance they are likely to come in? I would think they'd come to the front door. Maybe we can barricade it in a way that we can clear easily if needed? I agree with Darg that we'll need to slow them down if they come here. Maybe if we are fast enough, we can search this building and flee before they arrive."

My daughter has been having some serious health problems and is probably going to be hospitalized. I keep hoping things are going to ease up, but they haven't and it doesn't look like they will any time soon. I think someone trained in medicine can try to neutralize the poison. I don't have medicine either. Outside if magic, I am not sure we have any other options unless someone has a way to boost a fort save.

Ryiah gives Darg a frightened look. "Oh, uh, no...I...don't know. I don't know what we can do. I can help with some of the basic cuts and bruises, but I don't think that's really what they need right now. I don't know what to do about the poison."

She looks at Nenyath. "Do you know? How can we help you?" She reaches out tentatively and places a hand on their shoulder.

I put Desert Wind and Plum on the map as well, since she's supposed to be holding them. I'm also going to switch her over to Scout. I wanted to do avoid notice, but I'm not sure how much sense that makes given that she is standing next to two large animals!

Ryiah quickly waters the animals at the well, then brings them to the base of the staircase, waiting tensely for Brayka to return.

Ryiah also awaits Brayka's report. If they get the all clear to go in, she will enter - bringing both Plum and Desert Wind with her if possible. She will also cast light as soon as they are inside so that everyone can see.
