Hey guys! Feel like spending a weekend playing games and other shenanigans? COME TO OWLCON!

We still got lots of openings for a free pass (GM 2 society games and get a free badge and tshirt.) Don't feel like GMing? We always need help desk volunteers.

Signups for GMing are at: https://warhorn.net/events/owlcon-2018

Player signups should open up here in a few weeks

Hope to see you there!

Page 3 of the pdf has an Adventure Reward listed as:
"Each player chooses one of his Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild characters.
That character may treat the loot Scale of Remembrance as if it is in his Class Deck box."

However, Page 4 of the pdf has ANOTHER Adventure Reward listed:
"Each character gains a skill feat"

Was that a mistake in editing? or do characters get a bonus skill feat for completion of 1-1?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We had a successful test run at a potential new game store for us.

I'd like to post an open invitation for people to join us April 10th at 3D games inside Deerbrook Mall.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Summary of my After-Action report

Kelly and I brought the Adventure Card Game to 3d Games inside Deerbrook Mall, and had an absolute blast getting our name out there a bit.

Alot of people seemed to appreciate the fact that we're doing this as a weekday thing as opposed to a weekend thing, some even said they'll stop by next time we play, so that's pretty cool.

So, that being said... I got our next play day on our warhorn:
https://warhorn.net/events/houston-pfs/schedule/2017/04/10

Hope to see some of yall there for some Goblin-y shenanigans.

(If I recall correctly, Kelly mentioned he had some decks he can let people use/learn with if they don't have their own)

Grand Lodge

Just added the second half of Skull and Shackles ACG 0-1 for 3d Games.

Shadow Lodge

My friend and I were looking to start up some PFSACG Play here in Humble.

I just got clearance to start hosting in 3d Games in Deerbrook Mall.

We are currently looking at Every Other Monday running from about 1pm to 8pm for ACG, maybe expanding to a second day in the week for PFS play.

Should this take off, would there be a whole lot of interest?

(Best method of contact would be through Paizo Message or email at lashinggecko@gmail.com)

An ancient shrine of the serpentfolk, this temple has now fallen into the hands of a heretical serpentfolk cultist who has reconsecrated it to a terrible demon lord.

I have an idea for a Magus (Eldritch Scion)/Rogue... My question is this

Can you pay for the casting of a race-specific spells (specifically, Mudball. A Society Legal Spell [if you are a goblin]) into a Ring of Spell Knowledge?

Because if I can figure out a way to Spell Combat Mudball/Normal Attack and gain sneak attack from it...that'd be fantastic...

Deep beneath the orc city of Urgir in the Hold of Belkzen lie the ruins of the ancient dwarven Sky Citadel of Koldukar, where awaits what could be the greatest discovery of the Age of Lost Omens: confirmation of the location of one of the lost Sky Citadels, built by the dwarves in their earliest days on the surface of Golarion. But reaching their destination won't be easy for the Pathfinders, and only the most skilled will survive Urgir and the terrors guarding the dwarves' long-abandoned secrets. Can they uncover the location of the lost Sky Citadel, or will the Pathfinders suffer the same fate as Koldukar—defeat at the hands of ruthless orcs and centuries of decay under the earth?

PF Mod: Master of the Fallen Fortress

Thursday, 30 Apr, 5-9pm (GMT-05)

Pathfinder RPG, Pathfinder Society, character level 1
Written by Rob McCreary

The ruined siege castles outside Absalom have long beckoned adventurers looking to make a name for themselves. Now an earthquake has cracked open one of these fabled ruins, and its lost mysteries and fantastic treasures lie exposed for the first time in centuries. But the tower's empty halls once more echo with living footfalls, and a new master has claimed the Fallen Fortress as his own. Can the PCs find a way to get inside its shattered walls? What ancient dangers and fresh threats will they encounter inside its crumbling chambers? And will the PCs be able to defeat the current Master of the Fallen Fortress?

Master of the Fallen Fortress is a dungeon-based adventure for 1st-level chararacters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world's oldest RPG. It also serves as an introduction to Pathfinder Society Organized Play (Paizo's constantly evolving, world-wide megacampaign). The adventure involves exploring an ancient, ruined tower and rescuing the captured Pathfinder held within.

This adventure is set outside the great city of Absalom in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but can be easily adapted for any game world. It also contains a preview of the six new iconic characters from the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Advanced Player’s Guide, available August 2010.

As far as sanctioned content goes; what would you say is the runtime for each book?

I'm trying to run sanctioned content for my friends, and I need to know how I wanna break the books up time-wise.

Recently, I traded for a Grippli boon (from Gencon either last year or the year before). Had a concept in mind for it: Magus that Spellstrikes with his tongue.

I looked at the Agile Tongue feat again, then relooked at Spell Combat and Spellstrike in hero lab, and my question is this...

Can I spellstrike using my tongue to deliver the spell instead of my Weapon?

The Goal:
Getting Trade Prince Ji Kwon Wu (Monk of the Healing Hand) to level 9.2 by July 31st, and then getting him 4 more XP between August 1st and the afternoon of August 7th.

Yes, I understand that secondary goal won't really be easy for me... but there is a purpose behind it.

Trade Prince Ji Kwon Wu will be participating in Race for the Runecarved Key on August 9th at The Houston Con here in Houston, TX. If I time things right, Ji Kwon Wu will get his final XP after finishing the race, and join the Seeker Tier. I want to send him into Seeker Tier in style...

So, if any of you are running games I haven't played in between now and July 31st that can accomadate a (currently) level 7 monk, please let me know if you have a spot for me.

Current things I have access too: Roll20, Teamspeak, Skype, Google Plus (even though I despise it)

Things I will be willing to download if you don't use Roll20: Yes.

Please let me know.

The black clouds of war are gathering, and evil flocks to their thundering call! While seeking the legendary expertise of a cloud giant skymage, the PCs interrupt an attack on his lair by well-armed and magically augmented hill giants. To obtain the cloud giant's arcane knowledge, the PCs must seek out and eliminate the source of the hill giant threat, yet the brutes have little information other than the name of their employer—a mysterious giant calling herself the Storm Queen, whose anger and hatred have transformed over the course of years into a murderous plan that could cost hundreds of innocent lives. Can the PCs find the Storm Queen in time to prevent her from unleashing a horde of vengeful ghosts upon the world?

Curse of the Riven Sky is an adventure for 10th-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG. Authored by novelist and legendary game designer Monte Cook, this adventure features angry giants, slimy horrors raining upon an unsuspecting city, and cursed spirits willing to bore a hole through reality to fulfill their strange desires. This adventure is set in the Viking-inspired Land of the Linnorm Kings in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but it can be easily adapted for any game world.

What I need is a GM to write an encounter (or run me through just one encounter from Master of the Fallen Fortress). THIS IS NOT PFS CREDIT. I am only doing this to get a feel for the playtest classes to see what they are capable of. I have only seen the Bloodrager in action, but not enough to really impress me.

I want to do this a few times, each time, a different class and a different encounter. When it is all said and done, I will in turn, run something for you.

Does anyone wish to help me in this task?

Still have one spot open.

Long story short... I have a wizard level 10 that I miss playing... Is there anyone running a 7-11 game that i could hop in on?

I can be reached at lashinggecko@gmail.com

Shadow Lodge

So, the short version is... July 21st-24th, I will be in St. Louis visiting my mom and her boyfriend. I made the simple request that I want to have a "guys night" as it were with me and her boyfriend and introduce him to some PFS... I would like to know if there is a gaming group that meets anywhere in that time period that would be willing to make room for 2 players.

This is tentative... There is no guarantee that I will be able to follow through with this... I just need to know if this is actually a possibility.

Shadow Lodge

Okay, If I had a +1 Spell Storing Greatsword, Can I cast a spell from a wand (More specifically, shocking grasp) from the wand into the weapon itself to be discharged later?
