No worries on the movement and perception initiative. It's sometimes necessary, I hadn't looked at the map for a while and was surprised is all. Also recall knowledge makes things Flat Fotted for Rose if she succeeded, thus the possibility of sneak.

Rose picks up the fancy dagger and looks it over. "This is beautiful, but I'm not a big dagger person... Ysoldt, you want this? You seem to enjoy swinging a dagger around and this one has runes!"

Figuring she's found just about everything in the weapons pile, Rose moves onto the pile of scrolls and starts digging.

"Someone should probably sort and pack away these magic weapons before another group of shadow goblin things come in and start picking them up." She reloads her gun and then slings it across her shoulders to take a look at the weapons pile.

Rose takes a moment to reload her gun, as she studies these goblins for the first time. "I wonder if these aren't actually goblins, but something desguised as them? Or perhaps they are from the shadow plane?"

She then raises her jezail and takes a shot at the one in purple.

Rose swings her Jezail around to her hands and springs into hiding behind a book shelf, hiding from the open door way, but keeping an eye on it. "What is it? Not Kobolds right, I have a rather bad disliking of kobolds."

Rose takes a look at the list and gives a small shrug. "I can help with any of those. As long as you don't have me dealing with some kind of trap, I'd be happy to help with any of those activities. So where would you have me? "

Rose turns to show her rapier on her hip, "Well, I have a back up weapon here, and a few hidden daggers, but for the most part, this little beauty is my weapon of choice... Think of him as a loud crossbow that shoots little metal balls instead of bolts. If I can aim him right, he is very good at punching through just about anything,"

She looks down at Nilaglade and Deroff, her face breaking into a smile at the dog. " Oh and who might this lovable Fluff ball be? Does he want a treat? I think I have some jerky in my pack!"

A woman in sensible leather armor rushes into the room. "Apologies for being tardy! I found out last minute that I had to fill a vacancy here."

She pauses to settle her breathing, adjusting the strap of the jezail strung across her back, and moving the green scarf she wears to accent her bright pink hair to cool off some.

"Right I recognize a few of you from before, but for those who haven't met me, or forgot my name, I'm Rose Thesar... and I guess we're examining all these supplies?"

Rose spits out some more of the noxious-gas-fumigated mucus from her throat. "Traps!" She then moves off to find a nice place to get something soothing in her lungs, about as happy as a cat just after being dunked in water.

Rose stares at Nilaglade with open abject horror as she starts to raise her jezail at hom and take him out of his possibly vampiric misery. She stops for a moment, not wanting to actively opne fire on him. She waffles as to whether or not he's actually turning and if Deroff might become a vampire as well.

Recall Knowledge on the fanged mouth and if it can cause Nilaglade to do this.

Shaking her head as her fears about this place and the relic starts coming true, she backs away from the mural, Nilaglade and everyone else, shaking her head. "Don't you dare bite me! Stay away! I won't live through nearly getting my head blown off my body to only die to some stupid vampire relic thing!"

Back in the beginning of this encounter, we all started down in the same position at the base of the hill in this post. When everyone was declaring exploration activities and talking about moving up, we were moving up on the map as well. GMs can assume that everyone was in a closer formation and do so for the actual start of the of the fight, but that's not required. Checking the maps when they get posted is something a player needs to be doing. Although I will admit the slides and tactical maps being two different Google Slides is a bit different.

There's no set start locations here, so it's up to the GM to decide a place that works.
