Male Halfling
"Fair enough. I suppose the vomiting would send me off the trail of any lady. But to each there own." Rorse says with a bemused chuckle, he can't help but being found of Hickory in a platonic sort of way any how. As Rorse heads to camp and passes the view of the others and towards his tent his expression darkens significantly as he ponders upon His love and the loss of her. It had to have been at least two years now...never again
Male Halfling
"No worries Maenir, There will be more where that came from,we have a whole new world to explore. Vero pads over toward where landis is, and plunges his head under water shaking his head violantly under the water with his mouth open before pulling it back above, seeming to agree with Landis's disgust. Rorse however is more amused." AH your first whiff of the undead? You've lead a charmed life up to this point. THey are real and, yes disturbing but so long as they end up in pieces and we are no worse for wear, they are just another enemy." With a smirk as he passes Hickory. You go for the green ones do ya?
Male Halfling
Rorse swings off of his mount quickly grabbing his canteen and washing the wolf's mouth out with water. "You could have scratched it you knuckle head. putting that nasty thing in your mouth. SO! apparently our new home comes complete with zombies. The Locals won't like this at all, they'll appreciate us sending their souls on their way. but I hope they don't blame us for the way they got like that in the first place.Good work! You new guys are alright by me."
Male Halfling
"Oh, that is odd. Um we'll take care of it, or atleast try to negotiate things, awfully early to start a fight." rorse hops on Vero's back and moves quickly back to camp waking the lot of them with a push and a quiet "we got company." He stops a bit hesitant to wake hicokry and instead leaves that task to Lilo. he will tell everyone to wake the others just to get the camp up and at em quicker. once there are enough to wake the others he moves back up to watch the human and canines movement.
Male Halfling
Vero and I will take whatever watch someone wakes up on, for now I think I am going to relish the fact that I'm not being rocked to sleep by the big pond. Rorse plops back onto Vero and watches Hickory through slitted eyes, trying to see if she is going to cheat at dice. He is also hoping to catch the new comers in a moment of private chat. That will best clear them in his eyes. Though they might not have chelaxin wicked intentions, they do work for a banker.
Male Halfling
Ok, well I was just throwing it out there that I would've be up for some hand waving and saying the groups were just on different ships and what not. as far as how we proceed, I wouldn't mind hearing from the other two first, when was the last time we heard from lilo? june 30th. hmmmmm, it might be best to see what the other guys have to say before we proceed with the plan. if you are willing to run it, I will stick with it as long as you are up for it.
Male Halfling
he taps his finger on his lips in wonder." Cause I do, I mean unless their is a Predator about then there should be at least some sort of noise, and I think we have taken care of the closest predator. I wonder which tribe these guys are from, I can't really tell from the head dress though the one fella had a pretty fancy head dress on, perhaps we should discuss it with Falcon. The only thing I remember from reading from the book concerning their current condition is that they take the preservation of the dead seriously, they believe that being undead traps the soul along for the ride. so regardless I think Titus has the right Idea. I figure if it is something dangerous it'll let us know it needs killing." he then tries out some fledgling Skreling commonIf you are out there we mean you no harm. He strolls over and puts his back into helping the old man." I suppose if we give the banks a once over later and we find a canoe they might be of the river tribe." AS they finish burying the bodies. Rorse suggests their next step. I think maybe we should get back to the ships and report both the fight and the lack of fauna.
Male Halfling
Rorse hops up and looks around taking a slow walk around Vero and as he does so, the wolf seems to be looking directly behind him. as Rorse makes his walk around the wolf, Vero's head stops and he pops up looking in a particular direction, Rorse turns and looks a bit closer. Rorse perception1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 Vero perception1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Male Halfling
Rorse looks at Lilo as if he has lost his mind several times over. are you kidding me? we have all the rest of our lives to push in further along the river, but today, we have a chance to get off of these boats! Hold Vero, Hold. Vero seems more excited then most that there is land in sight. Rorse isn't sure if the beast thought they were ocean bound forever. The fields and trees becon to them both!
Male Halfling
Well, I don't mind either route, multi clssing with a druid could be fun, ( I could get a wolf for my companion and start growing a pack.) but it is your call, maybe we should consult the group? I don't mind doing it in the least. The potential wolf easily makes up for the loss of the cavalier level. But certainly if you would prefer to recruit or run a NPC, then I am good with it, you are the GM after all.
Male Halfling
Hey Naz, I am worried about the group having no healing and am thinking about rectifying it. my worry is that I didn't make Rorse with that in mind at all. His cavalier order is cockatrice which is dedicated to self glory, so I looked at maybe taking druid, which would work well with having Vero around, but I am not the right alignment, so I was wondering if I could change my alignment to CN and drop the extra level of cav and go dru instead?
Male Halfling
level ing up shortly, I think I may go cleric if we don't have any other healing going round. no quarrell here, you can have the light stone. Rorse calls Vero away from lord brycen as Lilo nears, He is pretty sure that he has grown to know the rest of the group to know well enough that they don't need protecting from them, but just to be sure. I say we cast the necromancer into the sea, make sure he sinks to the bottom just to make sure he doesn't return in unlife.
Male Halfling
Rorse leans over the assortment of things and points to the vials of liquid. "are any of you capable of picking out anti-venom? he looks for labels desperately, if worst comes to worst he will suggest they take them all up to Lord Brycen and call that falcon whats his name over. Hicorky's boss.
Male Halfling
sorry. round1:
Rorse will run as quickly as he can to the fight he spends this round moving. Vero continues to stand guard near Lord Brycen. round2: Rorse will continue to run towards the fight. and if applicable get into it with the caster.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 111d10 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Male Halfling
Well, if its death magic, I'd think that would mean he could manage a poison spell of some sort. let me go check on lord Brycen and see if he feels any better now that this little bastard stopped chanting. (no Rorse doesn't see the irony in calling someone else little.) Rorse dashes off and up the ladder to go check on Brycen and report to Kheiron.
