I still take a look . . .

I'm still checking in daily . . . .

Does Roland see a swarm coming?

He checks the town hall for shutters or windows that may serve to keep anyhing out.

He calls out to Holg on the roof to look south, perhaps his outdoor training will better serve to identify what's coming . . .

hi people?
so why are we all here together?
any thoughts?
Galen is here because of a vision
perhaps the rest of you were hired by someone
what does the GM think?
Rav

Roland knew it was time to leave the Mirrored City. Where did he meet the rest of the party? On the road or at a tavern?

In any case, safety in numbers . . .

Roland looks for a wagon, stump or other slight elevation that he can use to improve is viewpoint as he gazes south, looking for the source of the closing noise . . . . .
Perception - (1d20+7=17)

Trepedation grows as he considers the dice rolls and sinister omen, he prepares his bow.

Roland tucks the dice back into his tunic . . .
Perception (1d20+7=14)

Was that something? he thinks . . . .

Waiting in the shadows, Roland becomes restless. He removes his three dice and rolls them on the ground.
One roll after the other: crowns, mooons, crowns, moons.

Alternating omens; blessing or bane. Which would he see first?

When Roland and the team returns he advises Amira, Sunset and Ferdinand of their findings, or lack there of.

"Perhaps it's time to see what the townsfolk say?"

Taking Amira's warning seriously, he offers to keep watch outside if the group's more diplomatic members wish to address the meeting.

I'm off to work until about 3am Pacific Time. Have fun, everyone!Oh, if Roland keeps watch outside he'll look to find a dark cut to hide in . . . Stealth - (1d20+8=24)

Roland nods at Holg and Galen, "Back in a few," then sets off seeking the long shadows that dusk brings . . .
Stealth Check - (1d20+8=23)

He works his way near where the buildings meet the fields, checking for any signs that goblins or other nasty beasts might be lurking about . . .
Perception Check - (1d20+7=14)

sorry about that lurking bit, Holg, mis-read the profile

Roland glances at the looming figure of Holg and says in a low tone:
"Why don't we leave the town hall to those who like to talk? Perhaps we can check the town's outskirts for a sign of goblins or other visitors that like to surprise in the night?"

He makes sure to turn his head and speak as not to scare the young lad

If you click on the BBCode and allow it to copy to your clip board you can paste it to your post.

It will include any notes in your rolls and look like this:

test roll (1d8=1)

when all's said and done, so to speak

EDIT: Tip on using invisiblecastle.com

Roland approaches Galen and the boy . . .

"Yes, we're here to help. Where's your 'da, son?"

"Delmvar" he wonders. This town's version of a gang chief or heavy-handed land baron, no doubt.

Roland surveys the blasted land and burned down building. "Out of the pan and into the fire," he mumbles.

All in all, the place looks almost desolate. Although, he's pretty sure no one from the Mirror City would ever look for him here.

"Who's in charge, I wonder?"

I went ahead and made the switch with the DM's OK. I can easily switch back.

Araciel, I added a brief background. Let me know how that fits, any changes, etc. I can expand as I learn more about the environs.

Talk to you soon!

Hey everyone,

I noticed we added a Bard and Paladin. Welcome! I was wondering if I should switch over to a rogue to give us a little diversity and open up some room in the melee section? Trap finding + lock picking = good!

I was thinking of a mis-understood rascal more than a back-stabbing pick-pocket.

Let me know your thoughts.

I *think* I've got him fleshed out aside from a complete equipment list.

Amira, I like your format and borrowed from it a bit. Hope you don't mind.

I think Golarian gods would help flesh out your world, but if you want to keep it all homebrew it's cool w/ me.

Cheers!

I'll put together a human fighter and have him finalized about this time tomorrow.

I'll work on the background once everyone is in and the setting takes shape
