Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

I think the guy in f12 is a Hellknight, so i'll move to e12 and attack him. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 damage 1d6 ⇒ 4 Not sure if you can get non leathal sneak attack damage, if so here it is, sneak attack 1d6 ⇒ 3

moving behind the carriage, Rokan, comes up behind a hellknight, and seeing him distracted, attempts to knock him out with the pommel of his short sowrd.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Rokan continues to fire at any enemy not in melee, prefering the leader, then moving to the closest one. attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22, damage 1d6 ⇒ 5

Cursing his first missed shot, Rokan quickly releases another arrow. The others seem to be doing a fine job of kjeeping their attention. Perhaps I should try and make my way over and rescue the prisoner. Then again, perhaps I should stay away from any heroic acts, could get seriously hurt

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Assuming i have line of sight, Rokan will fire his short bow at the leader atop the carriage attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 damage 1d6 ⇒ 5

Rising up from the brush, Rokan draws a bead on the leader. Aiming for just below one of the plates, he lets fly an arrow.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Once to his hiding spot, Rokan will see if any improvements can be made to provide better cover. Once thats done, he settles in to watch the road waiting for their unsuspecting prey.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

forgot about taking 10, silly me. any chance i can just add that 10 to my previous roll?. as to the caltrop/rope ideas, we need to let janiven do her thing, which will lead off the mounted knights, leaving us much less to fight, then we can proceed with caltrops and such. We do NOT want to slow down all the horses, the faster they get out of sight, while chasing janiven and her group, the better.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Theres a bush north and to the right of the bridge, rokan will hide there, on the south side of the bush, near the edge of the map. he will have his short bow out. stealth check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

As everyone prepares for the ambush, Rokan checks his gear, makign sure his blades are sharp and clean, then inspecting his shortbow. Finding no pressing issues, packs his gear and waits for the others.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Rokan leans over closer to LevASH, :" Good diea, you and me can hang back, see more that way."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"Caltrops will stop the horses, except maybe those ridden for combat. If janiven's plan works, they will stop to chase after her and the other decoys, leaving the other group hanging back to avoid any confrontation. If they are arrogant, and what Hellknight wannabes aren't?, they wont even suspect a trap till we've rescued them."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

a daring plan, I like it, though I have concerns about the bridge. Not only does it limit our mobility, but its an obvious ambush spot. Also it might make some if them feel more cornered. No matter where we spring the trap, I'd like to scout it out early and find or make a good hiding spot. If you can manage to draw of their mounted escort, ill pepper them with arrows while others charge in for the rescue.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Knowledge local 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 to see what I would know of how they treat prisoners at the prison, and the most likely route there. Also tryign to recall the best spot for an attack if we deicde to.

Between bites of food, Rokan speaks up.

"6 on 10, 7 if you count Janiven. I've handled worse odds than that."

Taking a moment to wash down the food, he continues "Of course any daytime attack would draw additional guards and the odds would tip greatly in their favor."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Awakening to the sounds of cussing arguing, rokan does little than observe ffrom his corner.

I know she meant me, ha , like i'd bed a captive hellknight. I prefer a good chase, makes what comes after soo much better

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"if we are to be some sort of revolution, that means getting out hands dirty, i suggest everyone get used to it" Taking a cue form LeVash, Rokan too finds a place to rest, but not before adding a final word "Next time someone decides to knock their foe unconcious, I'm slitting the poor saps throat, quick and painless."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Stifling w laugh at call's remarks to bloodless. He finds a comfortable place to sit and watch as the others debate. [I] "do I even Care who we attack first. I'm only here because they saved my add. [/b]

Stealth, in whatever we choose to do first is my simple recommendation. Strike hard from the shadows and fade quickly. Which brings up another concern, Janice how long do you expect us to play city dogooders?"

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Not willing to risk comfrontation, Rokan just shakes his head. [i]What do these people expect to happen when you revolt. Kill or be killed, thats the only way. She can only cause us problems.[i]

Quietly to calla "I prefer my woman taller, thank you. However if your goign to continue with the charade of no interest, then perhaps Amaya will be more ameable"

"So Janiven, we're here, in one piece, what's next"

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Rokan steps forward. "Hellknights are brutal and deadly. They act without mercy, and that includes these armigers. Failure that results in death just proves they were not wothy of the armor or the name. They wont waste the time to find her, especially in a maze like this one."

Moving to stand above the limp body, rokan takes a moment to study everyone.

"From my experience, these new recruits are too concerned with advancement to share information among groups, most likely our secret will die with her, and die she must. No one will find her, because no one will look. She's too dangerous with the information she has. I understand your distaste for what MUST be done, you don't have to watch."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"So dinner once we're out of the sewers? " Rokan ask calla with a wink. As he watches Bejis trip the remaining hellknight, Rokan makes his way over, ready to aid Bejis if the hellknight proves to difficult.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
acrobatics to move through the hellknights square and flank him. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
short sword attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage 1d6 ⇒ 6 sneak attack 1d6 ⇒ 5

Hoping the hellknight hasn't spotted him yet, Rokan hurls himself past the remaining Hellknight, then spins slashing his short sword at the knights back.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

At the sound of combatm Rokan drops into a crouch, both short swords at the ready. Quietly he begins mvoing forward, hoping the combatants are too interested in their fight to notice two new blades.

stealth check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 , rokan creep forward, sticking to the shadows.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Quietly cursing himself for not picking up on LeVash's plan earlyer, Rokan shoulders his shortbow, and follows as queitly as he can.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"What are these things?" calls out Rokan as he draws his short bow and takes aim at their small attackers. Cayden guide my aim he mutters as he lets fly an arrow.

short bow attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 damage 1d6 ⇒ 6

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"Sounds like that beast is working for someone, so the question is, does the mystery puppet master want the hellknights to catch us? The way it let us run, I can't shake the feelign we might be playing right into someones plans, and I don't appreciate being left out of the loop."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Biting back a witty retort, Rokan turns to Janiven, "You heard the beast, 1 minute and counting, lets see how much distance we can put between us."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

knowledge local 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 , perception check. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

"At least the danger has increased for our pursuers as well"

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"Argh, gods damn these things. Sorry edgar, but my blades are of little use against these things."

Rokan will take a 5' step back and make room for whomever wants to move up.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Knowing all to well the precarious position he's in, Rokan quickly lashes out with both blades, trying to down the flanked Skeleton.

full attack against flanked zombie. 1st attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 damage 1d6 ⇒ 1 sneakl attack 1d6 ⇒ 2
2nd attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 damage 1d6 ⇒ 1 sneak attack 1d6 ⇒ 5

edit: forgot bless, and adding the inspiring command makes the 2 attacks +17, and +7.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Rokan will use a double move to squeeze past the others and use acrobatics to get past the skeleton. acrobatics check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Rokan, Rushes past the others and dives past the skeleton, twisting in hopes of avoiding being struck.

"Excuse me , coming through! Hey, bone breat, out of our way!

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"I agree LeVash, though they may still think we're further ahead. between the blocked tunnel, the way we came, and the undead, I'll hazard the last."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Perception check 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 to see if he's been followed, if so, will wait and try to suprise whomever /wahtever it is, otherwise, return to the gorup as well

Rokan waits silently, listening for Rhys's return. Once Rhys passses, Rokan waits a few moments straining his senses into the darkness.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

As Janiven leads the group through the tunnels, Rokan tires to remember the route and the symbols, hoping to use them in the future when the rooftops unavailable.

When Rhys lifts the necklaces, Rokan's eyes gleam, "What do we have here, jewelry in this hole. Perhaps this whole endeavor could turn profitable, If we live"

As the group stops at the sound of battle, Rokan watches Rhys move off into the darkness, "idiots gonna get either get himself or us killed".

Once Rhys dissapears, Rokan wordlessly slips off after him, melting into the darkness

Rokan will wait till Rhys is out of sight, then move after him silently. Stealth check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13.

Once he reaches the edge of the torch light, he will try to find the best spot to wait, and hide himself. additional stealth check for hiding 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27.

He will ready his main hand short sword to attack any enemy following rhys if he come srunning back

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Know i know why i love the rooftops some much, people dont crap on their roofs

Perception check 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

At Calla's question of his ability with his blades, Rokan flashes her a wicked smile

"Blades flashing in darkness my dear, welcome to my world."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Rokan follows the others, waiting till all but LeVas have disappeared below, before making his way down.

"let's try not to draw too much attention to ourselves till we've put some distance between them and us."

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

"My charm and good looks not enough Calla?"

At the mention of hellknights, Rokan draws both short swords, then looks about the room for another exit.

"I don't suppose our hostess knows of a way onto the rooftop or a sewer entrance we could make use of?"

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

I too am curious what general knowledge we would have of these beasts. Knowledge local check to help see what Rokan would know 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

"Afraid of ruining your reputation by staying with such upstanding company Miss Calla? Though I have agree on the idea of a "safe house" , I too prefer some privacy when it comes to night time activities, whether they take palce in the bed or out of it" As he says the last part, Rokan throws a quick wink Calla's way.

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Rokan is thin, and slightly taller than average, with blonde shoulder length hair, which he has to constantly brush out of his eyes. His clothing and armor fits snug, leaving little chance of anything getting caught in a tight area, with the exception of his dark cloak. His eyes are a greyish blue, almost changing slightly with the lighting.

Seeing a guard walk in, Rokan froze, trying to recall if he's ever had any run ins with this particular guard. Hearing Rhys great him as an old companion puts Rokan at ease somewhat, but he's still trying to avoid too much attention.

When Janiven finishes her speach, Rokan standsm and begins to pace.

"My lady, I've spent much time about this city at night, probably more than most, and these shadow beasts are true hunters. it will be no easy task to reclaim the night, and even harder to bring down house Thrune. Thrice damned they may be, but they are powerful, and let's not forget those damned Hellknights. I'd love to stick em all, make no mistake, but what exactly would you have us do, we are only a handful. "

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Looking the young lady over, Rokan gives her a wink.

"I have no wish to make an enemy of such a beautiful woman. "

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)

Since waking, Rokan has thought of nothing but this meeting. He knew too little of these people, and worse yet, he owed one of them for saving his life. Now, hiding in the alley, watching others enter, he was frozen with indecission. Finally making up his mind, he quickly crossed the street, and entered the Tavern

Her jab at his profession and the quality of the silverware brings a slight smile to Rokan.

"My lady, i would not dream of liberating any of your fine possesions. Ale would be very much agreable, thank you"

Rokan makes his way over to the others, choosing a seat that gives him a good view of the door.

"Names Rokan, so anyone know what this meeting is all about?"

Male Human Rogue 1 (burgler)
