The eldest of the brothers Kirath (Wildrunners), of whom Thalas has 156 sons. Rodthalas is his father's hope, and was trained to prove that elven ingenuity can overcome all.
His name means Rod - Hero, and Thalas - King.
He is very serious and intelligent. He uses his mind to formulate any tactical advantage in any engagement. He is trained in the fighting arts, and partially in wizardry as well.
Thalas poured his mind into Rodthalas, giving every advice that an ancient and well-experienced adventurer can give. But, Rodthalas has a mind of his own. He has far greater control over his temperament than his father, and is smarter also.
Rodthalas joined the Pathfinders as a way to test his own mettle. Rather than just go about aimlessly wandering the world for adventure (as his father did), he thought that being part of the Pathfinder Society would help him become the best version of himself that he can be.
This choice of joining the Pathfinders proved indeed to be pivotal, but not in a way that he expected. On his first quest with them, he met the Pathfinder Locket. While at first bothered by her differences in opinion with respect to diplomacy versus combat (referred to as words versus the sword), he has taken a great liking towards her. It seems that he has indeed taken a sword, to the heart. Unfortunately, it seems that she doesn't seem reciprocate his feelings.
