Looking for some seasoned opinions on the matter. I am currently playing an Unchained Rogue and my team has kind of made comments about how I chose not to go TWF. I've also read that it's...kind of the thing to do.

Here is what I am working with/plans:

Fetchling Unchained Rogue with Scout Archetype currently level 4.

I fight with one short sword. In a flavor sense, it doesn't make sense for my guy to dual wield.

Feats/Talents:
1 - Weapon Focus
2 - Shadow Duplicate
3 - Twist Away
4 - Offensive Defense
5 - Dodge
6 - Bleeding Attack
7 - Flensing Strike
8 - Combat Trick: Mobility
9 - Canny Tumble
10 - Double Debilitation
11 - Spring Attack
12 - Opportunist
13 - Circling Mongoose

Not sure where I am going after this. Point is... With this set up, I should be able to sneak attack in almost any situation: On A charge, after moving 10 feet, during a Spring Attack, After an Acrobatics Tumble, with Mongoose... Combined with Flensing and Bleeding... I should do some nasty damage.

But still I'm told TWF is king. Am I screwing myself? Tell me your thoughts!!

Usually building characters is my favorite part of the game, but Summoner has me a little stumped. I want to play it because it seems so unique. Please give me any tips :)

Note: It will be Unchained Summoner. Note: I have not started it yet, or the campaign. I am just preparing.

Here is what I can tell you about what I want:
Character will likely be human or half elf (for the favored class). I will very likely not use my Summon Monster spells often... I want the character's Eidolon to be a big deal. The idea behind the character is he'd be sort of tribal and would be the only "summoner" from his tribe... he is basically looked up to because they think he can "summon the aspect of their god". The Eidolon would be based on the Mayan Wind Serpent Kukulkan (I play a lot of smite).

The Eidolon will be serpentine. Probably Air Elemental..? I want him to have wings (for flavor) and a Lightning Breath attack. I do not want him to have limbs or claws. I was thinking medium sized... I don't know for sure.

I've read through the class a bunch...their spell list and some of the evos... I feel like I will be sacrificing a lot of strength for flavor. I am worried my Eidolon will be weak and that with my very limited spell list, I will too. The flavor concept of the Eidolon is not negotiable. I do not want 10 arms wielding swords with 15 attacks a round.

What can you suggest? Feats, Evolutions... any help would be really great. I am thinking maybe my guy will have a spear or a bow? Would it be at all wise to invest in bow feats maybe so my summoner himself could deal damage? Are their any decent Eidolon focused feats? (I found a few but only one or two seemed decent). Is the Extra Evolution feat worth taking?

I feel like I am asking a lot but I worry I won't be useful.
Thanks for ANY help :)

Hello, please forgive me if this is not the place to ask.

I'm from Davie, Florida. I have been playing D&D 3.5 for about 10 years now but desperately want to get into Pathfinder. I am currently with a D&D group but...I am just not enjoying the people I play with at all. It is so restrictive that in our most recent campaign we weren't even really allowed to pick our own classes.

I am looking for a group of laid back, fun individuals who like to roleplay and have a good time and not lock me in a character sheet prison.

If there are any pathfinder DMs out there in the South Florida area that would be willing to pick up myself and maybe my friend, I implore you to contact me.

If you know of places I can contact to ask about potential groups, again, please let me know.

Thank you!!
