I glance up the tree's and back to Aldous, "Sounds good." With that I move behind Cuddles, ready to defend myself if need be.

I start to walk forwards towards the lodge when Alain mentions the spyglass, I look up still unable to see it and continue moving. I don't even get 10 feet when Aldous mentions creatures, I stop suddenly and look up but fail to see them too. I turn around and look at them both, "I can't see them, you sure they're there?"
I catch Tao's glance and give him a smile and return the gaze; although this one seems like a bit of longing is involved, for a few moments before turning to everybody else, "I don't mind where we sleep ... in the tree's sounds like a safe place though, good idea Cuddles."
I walk around with everyone trying to make sure that I do not end up the same way as the discovered bodies.
I gasp as I see Cuddles actually grab hold of it once I realise what it is, "Cuddles! Let go! That's an Ankheg! It'll drag anything it holds underground! It can bite but it also spits acid AND it can sense our locations through vibrations in the ground!"
Seeing the large insect suddenly appear I jump back in shock and then see Cuddles charge into it with his arms reaching around the creature to give it a hug. I glare at the insect not sure if my curse will work on it. I laugh nonetheless although the laughter is more one of fear and shock than anything else.
I am SOO excited! I start tomorrow and should be able to post properly from Wednesday / Thursday!
I walk along in silence, trying to make sure I do not trip over anything when the rabbit dashes past, I reach down and pick up a deep blue egg. "Well that's the first time I've seen a rabbit laying eggs!"
Seeing Aldous walk into the bush to follow the trail, I follow alongside him and beckon the others to follow so as to not get lost within.
I have no idea what is here as this is the first time ever playing this campaign. Good news for everyone, I have just been accepted for a different job, so starting next week sometime my hours should be more human and therefore more time to post. :)
I follow everyone but when it comes time to choose a path I am more interested in the path by the water and my body language says as much. But if the group decide to go in land I will follow them.
Hey all, just finished an 18 hour shift and about to sleep as I have another 12 hour shift tonight. I will try to pop back on before work though. Even though my posting rate has gone down at the moment, I am still very interested in playing and hopefully in a couple of weeks my shifts will be sorted out so I can rest and post more frequently. Good luck with everything Aldous, hope it passes by quickly.
I smile at everyone, "I really like the bone, it feels like I am connected to the sea." I let Enya help tighten the clothing while everyone else gets the food ready, once it is tightened I do hold the bag open for the food, blushing at everyone's comments.
I look to everyone and smile, "Well that's dinner sorted, who wants to chop it all up?" I head over to the bag of loot and rummage around until I find the whalebone corset and pull it out. I then find some cover and put it on. Just before I get changed I poke my head around the corner, "No peeking!" When I step out the corset is in plain view, with the furs hiding anything that shouldn't be seen.
Seeing Enya wriggle out and Cuddles grab the crustacean I move back to my original spot where it is safe.
Seeing Enya grabbed and hearing her yelp I begin chanting some incantations and performing some strange hand gestures. Once I have finished I move over to her and place my hand on her back or the easiest part of her to reach. At the contact a small puddle of liquid spreads over her body and covers the wound, where it begins to glow slightly before falling off.
I watch the encounter unfold around me, unsure of what I can do to help I call out, "If any of you want your hurts removed just say so. My curses don't work on the mindless."
Seeing the crabs head towards us in a threatening manner I take a few steps back and watch what happens suddenly realising how hungry I really am. I look at the closest crab and stare at it.
I follow behind Cuddles and Aldous, ready to assist in whatever way I can.
I look at the Whalebone corset in Aldous's hands, raise my hand towards it slowly and go to speak up, but seeing him glance over at Enya I realise that he wants her to have it so keep thoughts to myself and lower my hand again. I then think of a way to change the subject, "So ... if they're Ghouls, is there any way we can defend ourselves against the disease they carry?"
I look to Aldous, "I can summon fire from my fingertips, yes, but are you sure you want me to burn down the hut? There could be captives inside."
As Tao is leaving, would he still be taking the 2 potions I gave to him, or would they be distributed amongst the group?
I look to Aldous, "So you know it speaks the language of the fallen, do you know what it could be? If we can work that out, we can come up with a way to defeat it quickly using its weaknesses."
I am fine either way. Bringing in a new player could disrupt the group, but could also enhance the group and role-playing. It is all down to luck. I will go with whatever everyone else decides. I would like to give another player a chance, I know how hard it can be to get into a game and to give someone the chance to join and get a chance to play would be nice.
Feeling daring after the encounter with the large frogs, I jump to each post doing mid-air flips between each one. An acrobatic show that no-one would have expected ... including myself. I land on each post lightly on one foot before gracefully flipping to the next.
Seeing that the frog is now dead, I stop laughing to and continue to concentrate on Cuddles.
Seeing that my glare has effected the first frog, I look for another target, but they are both too far away to see my eyes clearly, so I just continue to laugh.
Seeing the frog swim closer to me in a threatening manner I glare at the frog hoping to make it stay away form me and then start to laugh at it as it seems to swallow it's own tongue momentarily.
Fearing the thought of being inside one of the frog's bellies I say something in a bubbly language and Arirai places his paw on Cuddles' cheek, causing his blood to boil which makes him feel a little stronger.
Tao and Cuddles would have each been given a Potion of Enlarge Person and Cure Moderate Wounds. Enya and Alain would have been given a Potion of Cure Light Wounds each. The final Cure Moderate Wounds Potion I would have taken for myself.
Seeing Aldous climb up the tree I figure I may as well give it a go.
I grab hold of the tree and try to pull myself up, but the bark rips away in my hand and I stumble backwards a few feet. I look up and shake my head.
I nod to the others, "We should try to avoid them, I agree ... however if they attack us we could cook and eat them. Frog is quite nice, but we wouldn't have to tell our "Captain" about it." It is clear to all that I have eaten frog before ... although obviously not something of this size.
I hold my hand out, to stop Aldous from moving forwards, I then point to the hungry looking frogs. "They look hungry ... and big. I have a bad feeling about this."
Seeing the boats start to head to the beach, I swim down into the sea and come up a couple of minutes afterwards. I slowly walk onto the beach and lay down to rest for a minute, I giggle at Cuddle's comment.
I swim along doing the backstroke, relaxing and still managing to keep up with the boat with ease.
I nod and follow Cuddles into the boat, but once in the boat I decide that I would rather swim. So once out of sight of Plugg and the crew, I climb out and swim alongside the boat.
I look from the officers, to the dead creatures on deck and back again. As if it was obvious why we were on deck, "We were protecting the ship from sea creatures, which we wouldn't have been able to do if we were below deck. We have just finished our duties too."
"Well if you ever want or need a hug, I'm here ... just not as hard as everyone else please. You'd probably break me." I stop concentrating on Cuddles and he feels the strength that is burning through his body melt away until he is back to his usual self. "Did you like the new spell Cuddles, it only works on you."
I smile at Cuddles nervously, "...You like hugs don't you?"
The potions would have been : Cure Moderate Wounds x 3

"They were probably too scared ... or just wanted us to die so they don't have to kill us later." I stand up, brush myself down and nod to Cuddles, "I'm okay. Weird creatures, weren't they?"
I fall to the floor and let out a small cry of pain, obviously my laughing stops while I rub my arm trying to remove some of the pain. Then seeing everyone come to my aid and Aldous remove some of the pain in my arm I look at one of the ones that grabbed me and glare at it.
I speak in a bubbly language and concentrate on Cuddles. all the while laughing.
Y.B.D : How many potions would I have successfully made by this point?
Hearing all the commotion I turn around to see the tentacled Goblins, wondering what they are I begin to get lost in deep thought ... until Cuddles runs over to one and gives it a huge hug. Seeing and hearing the others casting spells I decide it would be a good idea to give a helping hand wherever I can. I point at the closest creature to me and shake my head at it, tutting before laughing at it.
I finish my meal quietly, wishing there had been some fish with it or something similar. I then rise and head to my hammock, "Night all, see you on the morrow."
