My first question is really on if there is any word on how or when Uplifted Bears will be cleared for Starfinder Society play?

But I guess pursuant to that, my question would be is if there an official list out there of what races are playable in Starfinder Society via boon? I GM at conventions all the time, and I have a bunch of different Starfinder Society Racial Heritage boons, but I'm unaware of a list somewhere. Does something like that exist?

I have a couple friends who really want to make Uplifted Bear characters in society, but were not sure how to go about doing that (e.g. like we did for Skittermanders). Thanks in advance for any help :)

I looked through the forums for almost an hour, and I couldn't find the answer to my question; if this has already been answered, please point me in the right direction.

I own digital books, hardback books, and PDFs... I buy books from Paizo whenever possible, but sometimes if I'm at a con or store and I see something, I buy it there to support the con/store. Considering that I have PDFs, digital books, and physical hardback books - and money doesn't grow on trees - I'm not really looking to re-purchase anything.

So, I guess my question is what should I carry around, or what is the best format/thing to carry around, that shows all the resources I own that span PDFs, digital books, and physical books?

Let's say you have a really great Human Archer in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, and you want to become an Arcane Archer. Instead of taking a level in Sorcerer or Wizard to get your 'ability to cast 1st-level arcane spells' are there good Bard, Magus, Witch, or Summoner options?

I have to admit since the Arcane Archer only get the spell progression from the class, the simple choice would be Sorcerer or Wizard, but I was wondering if anyone had luck with the other arcane casting classes as an Arcane Archer?

The young heroes of the town of Kassen are ready for their coming-of-age ceremony, an old tradition in which they retrieve a piece of the eternal flame burning in the tomb of the town’s founder. Yet when they arrive there, they find only the corpses of their fellow townsfolk, dead bandits, and mysterious animated skeletons. The novice heroes must brave the traps and perils of the Crypt of the Everflame, discover the source of the corruption that has awakened an ancient evil, and defeat a menace that seeks vengeance against Kassen and its people.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #5-13: Weapon in the Rift
Game Master: mswbear
Levels 5–9
— Table 2 —
Dire need begets great innovation, and Ghalcor, a cleric of Iomedae, created a revolutionary new weapon to fight the demons that poured out of the Worldwound at the end of the First Mendevian Crusade. Unfortunately, the fiends overwhelmed Ghalcor and his assistants before they could arm and trigger the weapon, but complex fail-safes sealed off Ghalcor’s tower and kept the device from falling into abyssal hands. As the Fifth Mendevian Crusade rages on, Ghalcor’s secret weapon could be the factor that turns the tide, so the Pathfinder Society has agreed to find a way past the indiscriminate safeguards to secure the device for the crusaders—a task complicated by their pushing past enemy lines.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-13: Murder on the Throaty Mermaid
Game Master: GothPanda
Levels 1–5
— Table 3 —
While on a routine mission to escort a dignitary to the mysterious Mordant Spire aboard a disreputable smuggler’s ship, the PCs find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery that could jeopardize the Pathfinder Society’s relationship with the isolationist elves who call the citadel home. Can the cunning Pathfinders discover who among the ship’s crew of scum and villains is responsible for the crime in time to clear their own names?

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4-1: Rise of the Goblin Guild

Pathfinder Society Scenario #6-10: The Wounded Wisp
Game Master: Netopalis
Levels 1–2

More than 400 years have transpired since the Pathfinder Society began in a humble tavern that has quietly weathered the centuries without incident. When a routine errand there uncovers a clue left behind by one of the founding Pathfinders, it’s up to the PCs to solve a puzzle whose pieces are scattered across Absalom—and whose prize dates back to the Society’s darkest years.

Pathfinder Module: Feast of Ravenmoor
Game Master: Tim Broadwater
Levels 2–4
— Table 1 —
When a clerk in the city of Magnimar discovers that, due to a clerical error, the village of Ravenmoor hasn’t paid taxes in years, a tax collector is sent to the distant community to settle accounts with its mayor. When the tax collector fails to return, however, a group of adventurers must travel to the town during its Founders’ Feast celebration to investigate his disappearance. Did he really make off with the taxes for himself, as the villagers suspect? Or did he never make it out of Ravenmoor at all?

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4-13: The Fortress of the Nail
Game Master: mswbear
Levels 5–9
— Table 2 —
The Pathfinder Society sends a team of agents into a Hellknight citadel to free a wrongfully imprisoned ally. Among the law-bound knights, however, they may find that getting out of the prison isn’t as easy as getting in.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-18: The Gods’ Market Gamble
Game Master: Netopalis
Levels 1–5
— Table 3 —
Valuable relics of religious natures have been disappearing on their way into Absalom and the Pathfinder Society stands to lose countless irreplaceable artifacts if the cause isn’t found. Amid the bustling markets of the God’s Market in the shadow of the Starstone Cathedral, the Society sets a plan in motion to ensure the parties responsible for the recent thefts are caught and brought to justice.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #5-11: The Library of the Lion
Game Master: GothPanda
Levels 1–5
— Table 4 —
Few societies have so vaunted a tradition of leading crusades as Taldor, yet the constant revisions to its history by scheming factions leaves the truth obscured by countless acts of political modifications. Even the lauded Kitharodian Academy’s texts are riddled with these changes, so when a secretive ally approaches the Pathfinder Society with information about a hidden archive that contains the unaltered histories, the Pathfinders plan a daring infiltration to recover the secrets of Taldor’s past victories so that Mendev might benefit from the discovery.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-5: Tide of Twilight
Game Master: Moskau
Levels 1–5
— Table 5 —

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I know everyone is sick of Mystic Theurge early entry tricks, but I would really like to challenge myself to see if I can build a Charisma-based Kitsune Mystic Theurge from an Oracle and Sorcerer, with early entry at 4th level.

We all know that to qualify to become a Mystic Theurge a character must fulfill all the following criteria:

* Skills: Knowledge (arcana) 3 ranks, Knowledge (religion) 3 ranks.
* Spells: Able to cast 2nd-level divine spells and 2nd-level arcane spells.

So, here are my questions at this point:

1). There are posts out there that state the Kitsune's Change Shape Racial Trait fulfills the '2nd-level arcane spells' requirement. Can someone clarify as to if this is true for PFS?

2). Is anyone aware of any Oracle Mysteries or Revelations that grant a spell-like ability that counts for the '2nd-level divine spells' requirement?

Rangers, Paladins, Cavaliers, and even certain archetypes like a Barbarian Mounted Fury all get animal companion/mounts. However, if you are playing one of the many Pathfinder Society classes that don't get an animal companion or mount, but you really REALLY want one for your character, how do you go about getting one?

For example, if you want the many extra Feats of a Fighter because you want to make a decent archer character, the only way I know to give the character a mount is to take the Nature Soul and then Animal Ally Feats.

Is this correct, or is there another way to give a Rogue, Bard, straight Fighter, or any otherwise animal companion/mount-less character a animal companion or mount?
