The departure of so many of the survivors his Agnes hard. The tense atmosphere and lack of food and shelter quick takes its toll and leaves her defeated and demoralized. The dead seem to have abandoned her as well. The near constant whispers of the deceased have gone quiet, seemingly for good. Her thoughts grow increasingly dark as the journey continues. As the bedraggled survivors begin to ascend the final hill overlooking Vellumis, Agnes feels a familiar presence. Her mood begins to lighten as she can finally hear the faint susurrus of the dead whispering to her. Could we be nearing safety at last? Her hope is shattered however as the group arrives at the summit and spots the woman and her grisly trophies. Finally the spirits speak to her. The voices of her Papa, Mama, sister, betrothed and all her friends and neighbors are now joined by the haunting voices of Alyzo, Hurdauw, Jystolo and the Brushpaws. Their words are soft, barely perceptible, but all clearly say the same thing. "Run!"

I almost have a proper post ready. I'll post later tonight. One bit of onfo that would be helpful for the final draft though would be whether or not Squishy survived and I should include him as one of the spirits whispering to Agnes.

So my (Halgur's) choice would be to stay and fight although it would be pretty rough since a fatigued Red Agnes would be unable to rage. Thinking about Red Agnes's motivation at this stage though I feel that she would likely be too worn down and demoralized to stand and fight and would escape instead. I've been playing her future version as a PFS character and frankly, fleeing at this stage is more in line with the backstory I had originally envisioned for her. Her escape from the gravelands should be tragic and not heroic. Ultimately my vote is to flee, perhaps in an every man for himself style scattering.

I see no reason to change the watch shifts except to maybe extend each watch by about 20 minutes on each end like the 4 person schedule. That way there is a tiny bit of extra coverage.

So I assume that Agnes recognizes some of the voices of the haunt since she critically failed her save. Who is it that she hears? Possibilities include but are not limited to Papa, Mama, Marta (sister), Heinrich (Fiancee), Sir Karl, Mrs. Orzist, Willem (Mrs. Orzist's young son), little Gerta (Mrs. Orzist's young daughter), Mrs. Beimler, Bruno Altdorf. There were many others as yet unnamed at Agnes's engagement party. Mama, Bruno, Heinrich and Marta were all zombiefied and later destroyed by Agnes. The rest were killed in the initial attack but not encountered as undead by Agnes. Also, Agnes is trained in undead lore but not religion. Could undead lore be used to disable the haunt?
