Hi all, I will gming first time at an organized society event and i have some question about magus and spell combat ability. One of my player playing simple shocking grasp magus build. I am just curious about magus' can use Intensify Shocking grasp as a part of spell combat ability?

Quote:
At 1st level, a magus learns to cast spells and wield his weapons at the same time. This functions much like two-weapon fighting, but the off-hand weapon is a spell that is being cast. To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand. As a full-round action, he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a –2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also takes this penalty). If he casts this spell defensively, he can decide to take an additional penalty on his attack rolls, up to his Intelligence bonus, and add the same amount as a circumstance bonus on his concentration check. If the check fails, the spell is wasted, but the attacks still take the penalty. A magus can choose to cast the spell first or make the weapon attacks first, but if he has more than one attack, he cannot cast the spell between weapon attacks

Normally a magus can cast a shocking grasp spell as a casting time of 1 standart action spell but intensify spell increasing cast time to 1 full round action. If i am not wrong a magus intensify shocking grasp cant use with spell combat ability but as i said i am not experienced gm maybe there is something that i didnt know.

Hi everyone,

I am building Dwarf Cleric(Asmodean Advocate Archetype). I am little bit confused about Unnamed skill bonusses stack and masterwork tool for every skill.

This is my profession(barrister) skill:

3[Unnamed Bonus] Class Skill
5 Wisdom Modifier
1 Rank
3[Unnamed Bonus] Skill Focus Feat
1[Insight Bonus] Devil in the Details
2[Circumstance Bonus] Masterwork Tool
1[Trait Bonus] Mentored Trait
3[Unnamed Bonus] Viper Familiar[for Bluff]
1[Competence Bonus] Incandescent Blue Sphere (Cracked)
[20 for Bluff][17 for Diplomacy]

I know Unnamed bonusses are stacks if they are coming from different sources. But I am not sure these bonusses(class skill bonus, skill focus feat bonus etc.) are unnamed or just i didnt find bonus type.

And i found this item(Traveler's Any Tool). Can i use Circumstance bonus from Masterwork Tool to Profession(Barrister) check.

Also, this is Asmodean Advocate abilites.

"Asmodean Advocate can use her Profession (barrister) skill for Bluff and Diplomacy checks."

"Asmodean advocate gains an insight bonus equal to 1/2 her cleric level (minimum +1) on all Profession (barrister) checks."

"Asmodean advocate gains a familiar as the arcane bond class feature, using her cleric level as her wizard level. She must choose a viper familiar."

"Viper Master gains a +3 bonus on Bluff checks"

Hi everyone. I want to ask a question about Silence Spells Will Save. I Searched message board and i found some answers but my gms in society didnt accept these answers because they are not RULES or OFFICIAL ANSWERS.

I thought and understood from spell description is "SR and Will Save is only for not carry silence spell effect with unwilling creature" but my GMs thought and understood from spell description is "Any creature in Silence spell affected area can roll a will save for speaking". Which one is true, please if you know any rule or official description about this subject, share with me.

I found these answers but unfortunately these are all unofficial answers:

Anything written in spell description about light level stacks. Is it possible to stack four spheres light level increase?

Spoiler:
Depending on the version selected, you create up to four lights that resemble lanterns or torches (and cast that amount of light), or up to four glowing spheres of light (which look like will-o'-wisps), or one faintly glowing, vaguely humanoid shape. The dancing lights must stay within a 10-foot-radius area in relation to each other but otherwise move as you desire (no concentration required): forward or back, up or down, straight or turning corners, or the like. The lights can move up to 100 feet per round. A light winks out if the distance between you and it exceeds the spell's range.
