Male Human Werewolf

Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Bite: 1d20 ⇒ 13

Raul attack visciously, but his attack are aimed poorly.

Male Human Werewolf

Raul growls as his weapon drops. "This kind of enemy is not one we are prepared for!"

Male Human Werewolf

Raul flicks his eyes over to Dalton, nodding.

Male Human Werewolf

Raul howls, quickly shifting into hybrid form. He growls, a much more primal growl than his normal grunting. His form shift gets the undead to shift around a little, but they remain where they are. "I will crush their bones. My archers will do whatever damage they can. Tell me where to stand and I will bring my half dozen with me."

Male Human Werewolf

*Angrily throws platypi at Dalton*

I actually do intend to have an encounter with a super-augmented platypus in the future, I just can't justify sending one at you in the desert.

Male Human Werewolf

"No. It's plain and clear that I don't handle a position of power this high up very well. I was better at other things, but not this. When this is over I would surrender myself to face justice, however you see fit. Even it that means my execution."

Male Human Werewolf

Raul grunts and nods, but doesn't raise his greatsword or put it away. "Yes, yes it does." He takes a look back at his whitecloaks who are tending to the injured and making sure the dead stay dead.

"Conformism is an evil tool when used the right way. You have no idea the level of influence held over you after years subjected to this kind of harsh rule in this kind of harsh land. But there is always a certain level of responsibility involved, no matter how much we like to pretend afterwards that there isn't." He looks back to the party. "It's amazing how much you'll compromise your ideals when you think you can fix it all later on. And how much of a slap to the face it is when it all comes crashing down."

His eyes suddenly sharpen, flicking across the party. "I want to help end the reign of Acera. I don't expect a second chance at being a free man, but at least let me help to bring her down. And give my men a fair trial. Most of them were just following orders."

I'm gonna let the party chip in before any actions are decided. Also I understand that it's the holidays, so no pressure for a quick turnaround.

Male Human Werewolf

Then a massive blur of hair and claws slams into Bjorkus with a chilling snarl of rage. Bjorkus is slammed up against the wall with claws around his throat, cutting off air. The large intimidating form of the Aussirian Legion commander has become ever larger and scarier and wolf-like. This form takes his already unpleasant features and turns them into a thing from nightmares. His fur is slightly darker than his hair, but retains the hint of red. His scar continues to reveal all the details of his eye, and now deforms the left side of his muzzle before reaching down and curling up his lip. He holds up Gabriel with one arm, apparently without too much effort.

He turns, ignoring the choking sounds coming from the young bull in his hands as his deformed face gazes hungrily over the now frozen slaves. He speaks, his voice a harsh snarl. "You house pets will sit and the calf will come quietly or I'll personally rip each of your throats out with my teeth!" The dinner party continues to rack up the awkward silences as the slaves slowly sit down, the only sounds a few whimpers of terror and Bjorkus's choking. The dinner guests, even Rahotep look scared as they won't meet the commander's eyes.

Knowledge (Nature) DC 12:
Raul is a werewolf, a powerful shapechanger that has many of the natural prowess of wolves.

Knowledge (Nature) DC 17:
Werewolves are resistant to physical damage, but silver can overcome this. They're much more powerful in animal form.

Knowledge (Nature) DC 22:
Werewolves come in both natural and afflicted modes. Afflicted means they got the curse at some point in their life and it uncontrollably comes out. Natural means they were born that way and have greater control over it. Judging by Raul's control, he must be the latter.

Male Human Werewolf

Raul smiles. Including vampire lady, how apt. He kneels, looking into Risbeth's eyes. "I'm good with that, how about you?"

Male Human Werewolf

Raul stops talking, helping Tanz further restrain her and tie her up. He growls as he does so, binding the rope uncomfortably tight and throwing her back over Tanz's shoulder. "I don't roll over to threats, I roll over to common sense, which she seems to be lacking right now." He gives Igorina a look. "We're going to bring her home and let her sit for a bit until she calms down."

CMB: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Male Human Werewolf

Steal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Raul doesn't even wait for Risbeth to finish speaking before stepping forward and morphing, snatching the vial from her neck. "YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THAT WE ARE NOT YOUR ENEMY, BUT IF YOU MAKE ME ONE YOU'LL BE SORRY!"

Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

Male Human Werewolf

Stabilization: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Male Human Werewolf

Raul is glad for the flank, continuing his assault

Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 9

Nope, nopenopenope

Male Human Werewolf

Oh, my bad

Raul continues the assault on the leader.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 1 = 11

But can't land a blow

Male Human Werewolf

I forgot to add +1 to hit and damage from wrath

Male Human Werewolf

He grins as his resistances protects him from the solid hits. He taps on his silver greatsword. "Bet you'd like to switch weapons about now."

Male Human Werewolf

Raul grins as the bullet bounces off his chest, then he moves forward with a snarl and brings his greatsword down on the ring leader.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 1) + 10 = 16

Male Human Werewolf

Dice:
]Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Magic Check: 1d100 ⇒ 33

Raul focuses his mind and whispers a spell, feeling the anger in his body surge. "You know I used to be a part of that guild, you should really do your homework before claiming to be something you're not!"

Casting wrath

Doesn't that crit confirm fail? My flat footed AC for human form is 16, above his roll of 14

Male Human Werewolf

Sounds good, thanks!

Male Human Werewolf

Sorry to keep asking for more, but this seems like a far less one sided fight than a few rats. Could we get a map so I can get tactical? I'm happy to provide a medium if you need one

Male Human Werewolf

Still unsure of what the 'foes' are.

Raul finds the nearest cover and drops behind it, shifting back to his hybrid form.

Male Human Werewolf

Either there was a dice error or I intend on surrendering as my surprise round action. Waiting on DM verdict

Male Human Werewolf

Raul snarls, attacking again.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2) + 10 = 16

Male Human Werewolf

Raul glances back at the party, an amused little smile on his face. "I love isolated fights." Raul's muscles bulge, his hair grows out, and his nails lengthen, and after a moment you see a terrifying hybrid form stand there. Raul's beast form takes his already unpleasant features and turns them into a thing from nightmares. His fur is slightly darker than his hair, but retains the hint of red. His scar continues to reveal all the details of his eye, and now deforms the left side of his muzzle before reaching down and curling up his lip. He snarls as the rats close in, bringing down his silver greatsword on the nearest one.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 3) + 10 = 14

Going into hybrid form as a move action, then attacking as a standard.

You're running two groups, correct? Should we check in at different locations?

As long as you have a black band on he'll only give you dirty looks...and pull your chair out from under you...and not warn you if he's on guard duty and something shows up...

ShadowTail:
Cool! I'm glad you like him!

I had quite a bit of trouble imagining him in social situations. On the one hand, his CHA is so awful he likely attracts attention just be entering a room (and not the good kind). On the other hand, his wis score is high enough that he knows how socially inept he can be. His parents taught him chivalry, so he always tries to treat ladies (highborn or not) with the proper respect. If they have some goal in mind, his approach will often be a brutal, if tactical head on approach. "Kick-in-the-door" style, but make sure we throw some pyrotechnics in when the door busts down. He doesn't really treat another man like a comrade-in-arms until he's either drank with, fought with, or fought him. Despite the game he plays of being an inquisitor, he tries to stay as honest as possible. Has the idea that "you don't lie to a man when he needs something, he'll return the favor." Often emotionally separates himself from the job, offering the line "It's just business" here and there. Once he gets an employer it's very hard to deter him from getting the job done, and that includes bribery. He values his integrity and the trust his clients have in him just as much as the money.

I imagine his first reaction to being told to work with a vampire will be something like asking an elf to work with a drow. He might yell and argue and flip a table, but unless he catches the vampires teeth in somebodies neck there probably won't be any midnight heart-staking.

Does that help clarify a bit?

A hobby, than

Oh I have no intention at all to stray to evil, I'm a follower of Pharasma (or whoever her equivalent is) so on the good/evil axis he is very neutral. He seeks out and destroys undead, but also would track down another person for the right price.

But I'm flooding the recruitment thread, I'll try to wait to post until you get a chance to review the whole back story tonight.

Challenge accepted.

Edit: You're a vampire. Challenge over.

I would suggest, based on the books, and this is just me, not the GM, staying away from the 'I eat children' end. Those tend to end up pretty badly pretty quickly, especially when Vimes becomes involved.

LN Character, I'd probably rate myself somewhere slightly under average. Just wondering how "beer and pretzel" style the campaign will be.

This is Raul's hybrid or animal counterpart. I began creating a seperate stat block under Raul's character sheet, but there's so many small changes that it got frustrating and confusing. So this is his beast form counterpart. Has all the stat changes under the alias.
