That was my question. We've been heading out together so it would make sense for either of us. Our Stealth is the same so that doesn't even really affect the decision. He's got me beat on Acrobatics and Climb, so I guess do we want to improve the weaker acrobatic climber or the stronger acrobatic climber?

That makes sense. I'll wait a bit before acting in case someone wants to try and perform some kind of diplomatic tactic. Unless any of them are obviously undead (which they didn't seem from the description) as Rau will usually attack those on sight.

Rau heads back to the center of the room to address the group. He points towards the tunnels opposite from where they entered. "That wider tunnel has the same slime in it that we walked through when we first entered these caves, but in a much larger quantity and it seems more...well...fresh?" He then gestures towards the other one. "The narrower tunnel is odd. No slime, no recent tracks, and it drops off downwards quickly. It also..." He pauses as if trying to figure out the right words. "is too dark, unnaturally so. I got a sense of both great danger and great reward when I looked into it, but it was an uncomfortable experience and passed quickly. It is either warded with some effect or it is the lair of something extremely unnatural."

He shakes his head, both from the memory of the odd feeling and from the fact that he is unused to speaking so many words at once. "If we are undecided I recommend we take the wider tunnel first once we are done here."

Rau circles around to stay inside the woodline at the closest point to the building his teammates were taken to. He keeps a close eye on the building to see if he can figure out what is going on inside or if there is a way he could get a signal to the ones inside without being seen.

Why oh why is Inquisitor one of the only classes WITHOUT message as a level 0 spell.....
