Sadly, in 13.1 levels, I do not believe I ever once had a druid cast Greater Magic Fang on my monk.

Did you stand in line with the other animal companions?

Rasmarr is not a beast of burden. Was a slave once. Treated like an animal. No more.

(The Druid actually didn't have an animal companion. Otherwise I might have thought to do so.)

Rasmarr does not count well. I blame the fall of Lung Wa. Besides, Braid now Braid of a Hundred and One Masters.

No matter how many masters, braid makes Rasmarr hit harder and run faster. That is all that matters.

Rasmarr is proud to say, I have reached the 12th level of enlightenment, which will allow me to hit things even better. Now I will prepare for my purpose, to wear the <REDACTED> as Rasmarr represents the society in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament.

Rasmarr: Nagaji Unchained Monk 12

** spoiler omitted **

I and my companions have represented the society in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament and... Rasmarr is victorious!

Spoiler:
I only activated the Braid of a Hundred Masters once for the 1 1/2 STR damage, at the end (too many other swift/immediate actions), but the constant boosts it gives to unarmed damage and monk bonus speed were definitely a big help. Also, Rasmarr wove the ruby feather he was awarded after the tournament into the braid, so that he will forever be a part of it when it passes on to its next master (since he has no hair to contribute).

Now a Level 13 Unchained Monk and trying to figure out what to do next.

Rasmarr: Nagaji Unchained Monk 12

Spoiler for Redacted:
The character was built around the Braid of a Hundred/Thousand Masters, and will possibly be playing Ruby Phoenix Tournament this weekend (if the table comes together) to fulfill his destiny. His only regret is that, as a Nagaji, he has no hair to contribute to the Braid.

Rasmarr remains silent. It may be because his vow of truth would make answering that question uncomfortable, or it may be because recompense is the largest word he knows, and he can't manage anything more. Either way, the only response is the flicking of a forked tongue.

There's been talk that using these guys to set off traps or "sacrifice" themselves for the party is poor form, but what other fate awaits them? A pig farmer is AC 9, has all of 9 hp, and his saves average +0. Put him in combat and he's dead. His most likely combat use is to appear, throw himself in the way of one enemy attack, and then be dead.

I plan to ssssummon mine the next time I attend a feassst and let them have my seat at the table. It issss a sssmall recompenssse for what they have endured.

"I agree that liberty and freedom are noble causssesss, worthy of my sssword. Though I've jussst returned to Absssalom after my firssst visssit to Andoran sssincsse pledging my sssword to their caussse, and I wasss quite disssappointed to find corruption in their democratic government.

If you play your character with that voice at the table, eventually the other players are going to toss you out for the 4,923,845,853 times you unintentionally spit on them during the session

"Thisss hasss never been a problem for me. My tongue may be forked, but I don't ssspit."

Sadly, Rasmarr cannot spit. I was captured for a second time by the Dark Naga, and in their cruelty, they removed my venom sac. But Rasmarr survived and Rasmarr is stronger because of it. I have spent many hours meditating on it. (retrained Spit Venom into Toughness)
