As you enter the room, the figure revealed is striking. He stands nearly seven feet tall with deep black scales. He wears a threadbare robe, and carries no weapons. And yet the reason why is obvious - his talons and fangs are weapon enough. As he speaks, it reveals thick saliva that is unnaturally green. He takes care to ensure that none of this fluid leaves his mouth.
"Please be assured that I mean you no harm, despite my appearance. I was raised by a disciple of Irori and have chosen a life of discipline. It helps me to counter the baser instincts that are a product of my creation." His voice is calm and soothing.
"You see, I was created by a a cult that worshipped both dragons and demons. They sought to fuse both natures to create troops to wreak havoc against the innocent. I was but a babe when more enlightened people destroyed the cult. They chose to give me a chance, and the temple of Irori raised me with care to attempt to change my nature. When I came of age, I chose to keep to my vows and use my abilities to fight evil like those who rescued me."
game note:
Because my character is descended from a black dragon, I changed his resistance from cold to acid. If this is not acceptable, I can change it back.
progression:
I will likely split between monk, oracle, and a little fighter to fit the needs of my progression.
Rashk runs up alongside the alchemist and reaches out to Illyria. glowing life energy comes into her. "You have chosen poorly. Make peace with your gods, little man."
Rashk moves up between the two alchemists, blade in hand. He calls out "SURRENDER OR FACE ETERNAL JUDGEMENT!" With Illyira coming up, he'll strike the one behind the counter.
Rashk will move up to the nearest foe. He briefly considers dumping him in the pool, but that unnatural sludge is cruel even for his enemies. So he gives him a cleaner death.
"I suggest circling around the cave to look for for further blight. We go wider until we find a clue to the source." Looking for evil is what he knows.
[ooc]Are there any large rocks nearby? That might be easier than collapsing the cave.[/oob]
Rashk will look at the carcass and the pool. He doesn't know much about such things, but know these aren't natural. "Can we purify them. Or burn them?"
As the red-eyed wolf tears into Illyria, Rashk cries out, "No!" and slashes furiously. He cant get through the beast's hide, but shoves the uzzle a little bit away.
Retributive strike absorbs four points of damage to Illyria retributive strike:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
And then he drops again under the strike of the other wolf.
Rashk stands and chops at the blighted wolf. There may be a bit of emphasis on his strikes. Perceptive people might be able to tell by the steady stream of orcish cusring coming from him.
Rashk will turn to Illyria and Nutmeg with healing touches. Lay on hands for 12 points Baldur, he gives a hearty pat on the back, "Thank you for the blade magic. It was very helpful."
If she's willing Rahsk will touch her arm. Lay on hands - 12 hp"I have a healing touch, but it's mostly wounds. I can't do much if it's a more complicated injury."
He grunts in grudging assent, "You are right. We do have a duty to the caravan as well. But if we get a good lead on 'V', then we will bring her to justice. We don't need a necromancer on the loose."
Rgathiel will kneel to look directly in Phinick's eyes.
"You still chose to take money in order to make somebody sick. In doing so, you made yourself the tool of an assassin. You may not have only had hard options, but you chose to harm somebody and they died. I expect that you will think of this the next time you have a hard choice."
Rashk bulls through by brute force, charging past the carts, powering through the mud, not stopping to pet the dog. But he does slip back a bit at the end.
"I'm not much at asking questions nicely." he says with his usual gruff tone. "But I good at interrogating those that don't wish to cooperate. It might be better for me to wait until you have enough evidence that a rougher edge is needed."
Rahsk will keep his hands on the table and keep quiet. He'll look concerned as Baldur examines the poison, ready to intercede if Baldur seems to have any problems.
Rahsk stands on the table and clangs his vambraces together. He's still wearing his armor from the road and has his weapons slung, including the big sword hilt over his shoulder. "It has been a long day, and I've seen too much blood spilled already this day. Sit down and I will not have to educate you all on the arts of war."
Rahsk takes a moment to give Baldur a sharp slap. Not enough to leave a mark, but enough to sting him back to consciousness. "No time for flirting with Pharasma."
Lay on hands for 6 hp
He'll then shift his weapon to two hands to guard Baldur while he gets up.
Since Baldur and I were shaking hands, he must be within 15', so I'll use my reaction do do retributive strike. I'm not sure if I'd be within reach of the enemy. retributive strike:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 damage:1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Rashk strikes out at the wolves around him. two strikes and a stride, order based on what I need
