Dex save: 1d20 ⇒ 14 Raiden leaps over the flames with a surprising agility, watching Anton beat the snot out of a dwarf. He looks around the room to see what else, or who else is there, while all but standing on the fire to block any exit. If the dwarf fights back, he will aim a few kicks his direction...

Oh man I hate to do this, but don't you have to be able to see where you're going with Misty Step? Couple of strength checks as I see no other way to get this friggin' door down and the dice roller is being *&$%!! 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Thinking about it for a second, Raiden has an idea. After hearing the sound of things breaking, he knocks sharply on the door, he does his best "guard" voice and says "Sir, is everything okay?. And if that doesn't work, Strength check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7, he gently tries to shoulder the door, lol, stupid dice.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
If that didn't do it, Raiden would help. Poor guard, just fake it already. And, yes, once the hall is clear in our opinion, door needs to be quietly opened to make sure we didn't alert someone inside, and if we did we can take care of that quickly. Hopefully.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Welp, assuming he's just some poor chap who's been charmed, we aim to break that. And whatever's the source of the charm/curse. Basically, I think, find and question him. Yeah?

LOLOLOLOLOL Athletics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Raiden deftly climbs up that tree and jumps over, and makes sure no one else falls off, but can't contain a stifled laugh at all the noise. If necessary, he will help lower that rope.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Let's go over to someplace where we can talk amongst ourselves and consider our options. And once away from the clueless friggin' guards, Raiden suggests maybe just walking in on this mysterious Lord Oreclasp. We could, you know, just move the guards out of the way if we have to. But, Raiden's pretty sure Ravvek and Anton will have a more diplomatic, and probably better, approach.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Insight: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 Raiden gives the dwarf a raised eyebrow. After Zayless receives an answer, Raiden will follow up with Have these kinds of attacks always been common around here?.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Waaaay back on page 13 it was mentioned that there is a reward for owlbear beaks. Though we're not in it for the money, I do think we would have come away with at least a couple of beaks. If for no other reason than proof. Which is the fancy way of saying oh sh*t I forgot yeah of course we got owlbear parts.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Well I guess my post got eaten by gremlins. Stealth and subterfuge are not really our strengths, so I think meeting with Oreclasp will be the most helpful to us. Whatever happens.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden muses aloud Is that what brought us here, the magic?. You assume he's talking about the teleport spell going awry. He, too, is just about down for the count with fatigue and injury. Looking to the others to see if we're camping right here, right now, because that sounds like a decent plan, but we still probably need a watch.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Hmmmm, how good is Raiden at this considering everything...general charisma check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 lol Raiden huffs and puffs, not bothering to fully gather his breath. We were fighting some owlbears in a cave, that was really rough. And we found a diary, and that the people were murdered! Oh but you meant why are we here? We were at he motions in the direction of the village from where they came from and they were having the owlbear attacks. There were people taken, we followed. Well Davith told us about them. He's a priest. And then we followed the tracks, and you were here.

Raiden runs over and hopes his (sadly non-magical) sword can finish this fight. att1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 222d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10
If that wasn't enough, Raiden still has an action surge he can take...
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden follows up Sashah's firebolt with a nice sword to the gut. Att #1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
If the enemy drops before the second hit, would move up and hit the closest one, I think he can just make it 25' if necessary.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Wisdom: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 Raiden glances at the bodies, furrows his brow, walks over and examines them more closely. Guys? These are blade cuts. Didn't one of you mention humanoid tracks in the owlbear's? I think they may have been killed by a person. Perhaps we can find someplace to rest and hash it all out.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
It's a plan. Knock them out, investigate the cave, run like heck.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden sees that holy light and spends a whole second thinking he woke up in the afterlife... And then the brilliant light is followed by a gallon of blood and a bucket of feathers as Ravvek tears into the owlbear. Raiden rolls out of the way as best he can, taking Big Bertha (the sword) with him.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
I've been quite flakey this week, just clean didn't notice those were 20's. Epic-level flakey, lol. I did purposely choose to not reroll the 2; I was not feeling that lucky again. So, extra dam: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6, 1) = 15. Do I reroll that 1? 1d6 ⇒ 3
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden groans after having run around to the others, only to see we're all going right back at it. Slash at the yellow owlbear: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 272d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 4) + 4 = 14
(Woo hoo!)
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden continues what he was doing after last round, withdrawing and moving towards Sashah. He keeps his sword out in case one of the owlbears comes after him. Sashah, can you cast that sleep again on the bears near Anton? He looks pretty bad off.
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden is happy the bad news owlbears were distracted. Ouch. OK now, using the greatsword for real this time, Raiden slices from right to left (so bear on the right first).
Realizing he can't take too many owlbear slashes, bonus action to use second wind. Second wind: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Seriously??
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Sorry about confusing my weapons. I had originally gone with the sword but then remembered I had written that I was already holding the hammer, so logically I would have used that. Thanks. Also I updated the title of the map; good old Google sharing. Hope that was okay!
Male Human (variant) || PP-15 || HP-44/44 || AC 17 Fighter 5 || Str +4 (Save +7), Dex 0, Con +2 (Save +5), Int -1, Wis +2, Cha +1
Raiden steps up to the nearest owlbear, cursing its fowl stench (ha). Swing and a hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 with the hammer, damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8. If he's still up, smash him again on the back swing 2nd attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 91d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5. If by some miracle that 9 hit, rerolling that 1 damage 1d4 ⇒ 2.
