From what I can tell, this brain canister is the key to opening a portal in the gate to the beyond as it is an attachment to the gate. Thank you Kludde. This one was fun and also tells me that next level up, Rafiki is going to put a point into Linguistics to learn Ancient Osiriani since he only knows current Osiriani...or at least more ancient languages.

Rafiki has a slight smile on his face while overhearing the interaction. He thoroughly searches the area of the heap as they talk. Then when he's done he follows the party out.

As he can't see what is attacking from the rear, he crosses the water and moves until he can see the thing full on. He then looks at it and tried to figure out what it is. Double move if he has to to get across the water straight from the heap. What knowledge check is needed to identify it?

"After we finish checking this room, we should probably check out the area that we neglected. There may be something there that we could vanquish or use."

Not sure if the darkmantle is in a space next to Rafiki or not, according to the map it isn't but according to the post it is.

If the darkmantle is not next to Rafiki:
Rafiki moves over to Race and wakes him up.

If the darkmantle is close by:
Rafiki takes a step away from the darkmantle, loads his sling, aims and releases. Sling with favor and cheer: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Rafiki moves into the room after seeing Race collapse, asleep. He places himself across from the Jinkin and sends off a sling bullet at it, but he just can't get the hang of using a sling.

If Xuxo doesn't wake Race up this turn, Rafiki will on his next. BTW can I get a new dicebot? I think mine is broken.
