I wasn't able to find any decent ice mobs that aren't at least huge. Why don't we double the map's size, so we can put some big stuff in it?
On the topic of being huge: my size is bothering me. It doesn't allow me to take my character inside certain places. I may or may not change his size for that reason.
"It's too tight for me." (If you get what I mean.)
What about this: we head in as far as possible while I'm not fused, then I head back while you wait in area 11. I'll cast fly on myself after fusing and will attack the dragon in its pit, swooping in from the sky. Meanwhile you've got some nice cover while launching your spells :)
Radley moves over to one of the stone efreeti and concentrates on summoning his eidolon. A minute passes and Radley's appearance changes, fusing with his eidolon.
"Let's smash it!" Radley announces with a warped, loud voice.
Rolls:
Attack rolls are just for show, 'cause I wanted to see what'd come out of them. 'Cause the efreeti's a statue, only the damage rolls count.
Radley lets the northern roc fly toward the small mountain created by Mattias. It lands on top on the mountain, just outside the darkness. "Hold your attack!"
He lets the middle roc, now the northern one, move north so he has line of sight on the efreeti. Using his summon ability, he spawns a glazebru next to it. The demon immediately attacks the efreeti with its pincers, its claws and a bite. It makes use of its flanking position with the roc on the mountain, who also gets the command to attack.
"Now, attack it!" Radley commands the bird, pointing out where to aim in the darkness.
Radley then lets the southern roc move in front of him, to ensure the efreeti doesn't have a line of sight on him or Mattias.
Radley tries to dispel the darkness so his rocs can fly in without taking damage.
Dispel check DC 31:1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30
The dispel magic spell fails.
"Move in between that one in the darkness and us," he tells the rocs, "and leave some space for us to aim through."
The rocs quickly reposition themselves on the ground between the efreeti and caster duo. They leave some gaps in between themselves, allowing Radley and Mattias to still have a line of sight on the efreeti if they move.
While the rocs continue to attack the chicken, Radley casts dimension bounce. He selects two positions that are quite far apart, allowing him to move around fast in case more enemies show up.
Radley gets up and stretches. "They never realize we can just see them, do they?"
He waves his hand and summons 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3entropicrocs, which appear in the sky around the invisible efreeti. "Bah, I'd hoped for four. Would've completely surrounded it."
The three rocs can't see the efreeti, but attack after Radley points out where their target is. "Don't grab hold of it with your talons, just tear it apart."
