Making Good on Promises At some point in the past, Professor Lorrimor did you a favor under the condition that he would someday call on you to repay it. After he came to your aid, however, you never saw nor heard from him again, leaving you with a sense of unending anticipation that each day might be the day you were asked to return the favor. Yet that day never came, and your fears and anxiety about what the professor would call on you to do abated. Assuming the old man had either forgotten about you or died, you eventually assumed you’d never have to follow through on your end of the bargain. When you received word of the professor’s death, and that he had named you specifically in his will, your dread of what he could possibly want from you has grown throughout your entire journey to Ravengro. Years of living with the fear and uncertainty of the unclaimed debt to Professor Lorrimor have inured you to extreme anxiety. +2 to saves vs Fear effects.
Spontaneous Casting The Cleric can convert stored spells into Cure or Inflict spells.
Sun's Blessing (Su) +1 to channel damage vs. undead and they don't get channel resistance.
Vision of Madness (6/day) (Sp) With a melee touch attack, target gains +1 on attack rolls, saving throws, or skill checks and -1 on the others.

Backstory:
The early years of Radim's life are largely unimportant. Hailing from the town of Rozenport in the Ustalav county of Versex, he was the only child to a pair of fairly well-to-do but largely unimportant folks. Keeping in with the traditional habits of the people of Versex, the Iranon family largely kept to themselves, leaving Radim to grow to be a somewhat reclusive young man.

When he came of age, his parents deemed it proper that Radim attend the Sincomakti School of Sciences, located within the town. Bookish by nature, and often interesting in learning and study, Radim offered no argument. In the beginning, things went well. Radim was a dutiful, model student. While he was more often than not found in the school's library, he still managed to make a few decent friends and acquaintances. If he hadn't managed to meet Armen Ghalmont along the way, his life would most likely have been as pleasantly boring as that of his parents.

Armen was a fellow student at the school, and his vibrant enthusiasm and dominating personality drew Radim like a moth to a flame. Radim quickly became Armen's closest confidant and later, assistant. While Radim was content to simply pore over tomes and write papers and theories, Armen was far more keen on a more hands-on approach.

Old curses and dark legends were what Armen fancied the most, and in the three years that Radim knew the man, he found that Armen's obsession grew from a simple curiosity to a ghoulish obsession. More than once he remembers sneaking into the library at all hours of the night, lurking amongst and poring over the school's most dangerous and forbidden tomes, whilst keeping an eye out for any intruding scholars or instructors. Radim grew ever more fearful of his friend by the end, but Armen was far too domineering and threatening for him to do what should have been done and report to Sincomakti's dean.

Things finally came to a head when Armen decided to personally investigate a ruined keep located within the county. Under the pretense of a harmless field expedition on local lore, he all but dragged Radim along with him. Radim had no desire to go; the keep was a ghoulish place (even by Versex's standards), and possessed a legend so dark and twisted that even the darkest of the school's historical tomes would only speak of it in vague warnings. What Armen hoped to find there, Radim never knew.

Whatever it was, they found it.

Whatever it was, it was even more horrible and malign than either of the men could imagine.

Nearly a week after they had departed for the keep to unearth its secrets, Radim turned back up in Rozenport, a filthy blood-caked mess, ranting and raving of eldritch horrors and abominations. Several chilling indecipherable signs were carved upon his arms and body, the modt prominent being an eight-pointed star. Of Armen, there was no sign. Radim would only shriek in gibbering horror of his missing friend's name, and when the people of Rozenport finally staged a search, they only found a sacked and bloodied mess of what had briefly served as a base camp for the pair. A trail of upset earth and bizarre tracks led to the gates of the keep, but none dared venture in any further beyond that.

As for Radim, he was sent off to Havenguard Lunatic Asylum in the neighboring county of Caliphas. For nearly five years, Radim resided within the Asylum, gradually being restored to an almost acceptable semblance of sanity. Eventually he was released, and upon having no desire to return home to Rozenport, he moved far to the north to settle in Lepidstadt, which was about as far from his home that he could manage.

Since then he has become a furtive fixture in the libraries of Lepidstadt's grand university; fluttering about the shelves and tomes. Rarely does he interact with anyone, scuttling off to hide when the imminent threat of conversation is apparent. Of the few people that he has managed to speak with, the late Professor Lorrimor is probably the one he has had the most interaction with. Rumor has it that Lorrimor is the reason why the skittish Radim is tolerated within the university's library, though none can exactly speculate as to why...
