Rachel casts a spell of protection on Richard to try to ward off further blows.

+1 status bonus to AC and saving throws.

While Alice heals Siobhan, Rachel sends healing magic into Richard's body!

Heal: 2d8 + 16 ⇒ (6, 1) + 16 = 23

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Rachel cries out in pain as the tarantula's hairs pierce her robes and flesh! She calls upon her magic to heal the party!

Heal: 2d8 ⇒ (8, 8) = 16

Nice! Everybody heal 16!

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Loremaster Lore: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Crafting: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Surprisingly, Rachel fumbles through all of her tasks. Perhaps she is too enamored with Felitcia's badassness to focus on her own skills.

Will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

The hobgoblins move in and start shouting and banging their weapons against their shields, distracting the less wounded of the wargs. It turns from Siobhan to snarl and snap at them.

Rachel sends healing energies toward Siobhan to mend her wounds.

Heal: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

"These are not normal wolves. They are wargs!" Rachel calls. "They are intelligent and will use pack tactics. Be cautious." The oracle casts a spell of protection on Siobhan moments before the warrior rushes to engage the foes!

"Looks like they're already packing up, babe," Rachel whispers to Felitcia. "We'll have to get our drink on once the mission's over."

Felitcia:
Rachel briefly breaks off her assault as she moves back up to kiss Felitcia's lips. Her mouth then finds each of the actress's breasts in turn, then she finally returns to her previous target. Soon enough, Felitica reaches release. Only then does Rachel untie Felitcia's hands, remove her own dress, and gestures for her lover to return the favor...

Felitcia:
"With pleasure," Rachel replies huskily. She ties Felitcia's dress to the bed frame so that the actress's wrists are over her head. She caresses and gropes her girlfriend as she trails kisses down her neck, her chest, and her stomach before going lower still and putting her lips and tongue to good use...

”I can think of a few things,” Rachel replies. She pulls Felitcia onto her lap and begins kissing her neck as her hands roam along her back and start removing her dress.

"That's right," Rachel answers, unable to say more before Felitcia pushes her up against the wall. She blissfully closes her eyes as her tongue tangles with the actress's. When the kiss finally ends and Felitcia suggests they get a room, Rachel chuckles. "You read my mind."

A short time later, the two are alone inside the comfortable room at the inn. Rachel sits on the bed and beckons for Felitica to join her...

Rachel enthusiastically returns the kiss, then her eyes widen when Felitcia reveals her salary. "Damn. Well, they say money can't buy happiness...but it can buy a lot of other things."

She stays close by Felitcia as the pair leave the slums. "Should we continue to tour, or should we find an inn and wait to reconnect with the others tomorrow?"

Earlier

Rachel gasps sharply when Felitcia pulls her close. The gasp turns into a soft moan as she surrenders to the other woman's fierce kiss. When Felitcia suggests they get a room, Rachel nods wordlessly and quickly hurries up the inn's stairs and closes the door behind them.

"I'm ready. More than ready," the oracle says, heart pounding and arousal rising...

Now

"We are a few thousand miles away from Oppara, to the north and west in a land called Varisia," Rachel explains. "It's a frontier regions toward the edge of the continent of Avistan. Magnimar is called the City of Monuments because there are numerous statues, sculptures, and other testaments to the founders of the city, as well as its heroes and other prominent figures of folklore."

The morning following the play, Rachel leads you to the shrine to Alseta through in which you first arrived in Oppara. She produces the ornate key she used to transform the mural of the door there into an actual door and activates its magic. This time, a cool ocean breeze blows through the door as it opens into a seaside shrine at the edge of another bustling city. You step through, instantly traversing thousands of miles as you enter the far-off port city of Magnimar.

"Welcome to the City of Monuments!" Rachel says with a smile. "We'll only be here for a short while until we can arrange passage to Hermea."

"A show?" Rachel says with a chuckle. "Well, I'm sure we can find something here to watch. I'll see if I can secure some tickets for us, if everybody is interested."

"Alright. If there's anything else you need to do in Oppara, tonight's the night. I can transport us to Magnimar in the morning," Rachel says with a smile.

Once everybody has shared what they've learned, Rachel taps her chin. "Alright. It looks like we have several different options on what to do next. We could stay here and look for more local jobs, perhaps try to get in contact with the Mistress of the fey. We could try to make contact with the Burning Sun orcs in Belkzen so that Richard can learn more about them. We could travel to Hermea to seek psychic training for Felitcia. Or we could do something else."

Rachel smiles at Felitcia, enjoying the touch under the table. "We're discussing whether or not to effectively sell our story to be published, in exchange for assistance from a global society of adventurers."

Rachel sips at her own coffee, heavy on the cream. "The Pathfinder Society is full of all sorts of people of varying scruples. In general, though, they're a neutral organization. If you're interested in garnering fame and fortune in this world, having our story published would definitely lead to that. It would bring with it a lot of attention, too, I'm sure."

She looks to the others to see what their thoughts might be.

Rachel laughs and blushes. "Well, ah... Maybe you'll find out later tonight, after the meeting," she says nervously.

Rachel feels a wave of relief wash over her as Felitcia accepts her. She returns the actress's kiss and smiles at her. "Thank you, Felitcia. I've been worrying about telling you for days, now. It feels good to get it off of my chest."

She laughs at the Avengers comment. "Yep, that was me. I was a big nerd. But now look at me--on a date with a beautiful actress! Who'd have thought it?"

"Of course! I'm usually quite good at tracking down information. It's kind of my thing," Rachel says, smiling.

Gather Information: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

...gonna Hero Point that!

Gather Information: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Much better.

After a few hours, the oracle's questioning pays off, as she learns the location of the warehouse where the followers of the Redeemer Queen meet. "There, all set. Let's go get dinner, and then we can head to the meeting."

The restaurant Rachel takes Felitica to is called The House of Shade and Grace. Built of imported, sunbaked desert brick with ornately carved panels of fragrant wood screening its open windows, the Thuvian restaurant has quickly become a popular fixture in Oppara. Inside, guests can enjoy floral, intensely concentrated teas, share sweet-scented tobacco smoked in sinuous pipes, and gather around communal dishes of spiced goat and curried chickpeas served over platters of onion-flecked rice.

After eating her fill of the delicious food, Rachel dabs at her mouth with a napkin and looks across the table at Felitcia. "So, uh... Before we get too far along with our relationship, I need to tell you something, in the interest of full disclosure. I've told Alice already, but I don't know if she told the rest of the group. Back on Earth, before I was brought to Golarion, I was a man. The magic of the transition changed me into the woman you know me as. It was not an altogether unwelcome change, and I've since come to accept and enjoy my new life here. But I wanted you to know about that part of my past."

Once Felitcia and Rachel have finished their shopping, the oracle turns to the actress. "Would you like to get dinner with me, Felitcia? I've heard of a great Thuvian restaurant nearby that's supposed to be really tasty. It's kind of like Moroccan cuisine, if you've ever had it. I'd like to take you on a proper date instead of just getting drunk and making out... Though I did enjoy that, as well." Rachel laughs.

On the road:

Rachel makes a face as she bites into another bland biscuit. "It's not that it's bad, per se. It's just...not very good," she says to Alice apologetically. "Filling, though. It's good for long journeys."

***

Now:

"Sure, let's see what the markets have to offer." The oracle offers Alice a hand up as they head towards the bazaar.

It is early afternoon when you return to Old Sehir. Rachel turns to address the group. "I don't think there's a whole lot more for us to do here. Shall we return to Oppara, or is there something else you all wanted to do next?"

Earlier:

Rachel is surprised when Felitcia suddenly pulls her close and kisses her, but the oracle closes her eyes and melts into the embrace. When the actress finally steps away, Rachel's face is flushed. "I'd say that's a good answer," she says with a smile.

***

Now:

Rachel racks her brain, but can't recall what kind of creature this might be. "Be careful!" she shouts, raising a forbidding ward around Siobhan.

Rachel laughs. "Well, we were both pretty drunk," she says. "But, if that's still something you want to do now that your mind is clear, well... I'd like that. I haven't really, uh, been with anybody since coming here. But I'd like to be with you, if you'll have me."

In the aftermath of the fighting, Rachel makes her way over to Felitcia. "Your eyes were glowing for a bit back there. I think you've learned how to unleash your psyche and amplify your psychic abilities. It can make it difficult to defend yourself, but the increased power can be worth it."

The oracle cocks her head. "Don't ask me how I knew all that. I just know things, sometimes, when I open myself up."

She gives Felitcia a smile. "Oh, and, uh... When we have a quiet moment, maybe we should talk about last night..."

Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

The force of the fey's laugh hits Rachel like a truck, momentarily knocking the wind out of her. She gasps for breath, managing to cast a protective spell over Richard to ward him from further blows.

While Alice works on Siobhan, Rachel uses her healer’s tools to mend Richard’s wounds.

Treat Wounds: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Healing for Richard: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8

After a few minutes, the orc is feeling somewhat better.

”Alright, let’s finish saving the town!” Rachel says.

Slight Retcon:
Felitcia’s mental thrust pushes the spriggan over the brink. Coupled with Alice’s fire, it’s enough to take him down.

Rachel uses another healing spell to get Richard back on his feet.

Heal: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

She looks at the fallen spriggans. ”I tried to take some of the knowledge from their minds, but their willpower was surprisingly strong. We can interrogate them later, but there are still more creatures here to stop! We can spare a few minutes to heal and refocus, though.”

Rachel is annoyed that she invoked her curse for nothing. She draws her crossbow and shoots at the spriggan, trying to block out all the extra data now assaulting her senses.

Crossbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Her bolt goes sailing off into the air.

Rachel gasps when Felitcia’s eyes start to glow. ”She’s going full power mode! Alright, I guess I’ll do that, too. Here goes nothing...”

The oracle closes her eyes and gives into the flow of information that always seems to be swirling about her. She reaches out to try to drain the knowledge from the giant spriggan’s mind.

Brain Drain: 1d8 ⇒ 6

Rachel winces sympathetically as their front line gets hammered. "Stay strong!" she calls, sustaining her forbidding ward on Richard while sending healing energies to Siobhan.

Heal: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Rachel moans softly in her sleep, thinking all of the squeezing and groping to be a dream. The booming voice finally brings her around, though, and she opens her eyes to find out she wasn't dreaming.

Despite the seeming severity of the situation, she can't help but gasp as the other woman nibbles her ear and gives her a few extra squeezes. "Mmm... Stupid rules of narrative cohesion," the oracle mumbles, reluctantly moving to follow Felitcia when all she wants to do is stay in bed with the actress...

Rachel closes her eyes and eagerly returns Felitcia's kiss. She follows the actress to her room, feeling as if she is in a daze. She falls on top of Felitcia and laughs, rolling over. By the time she is able to get free of the tangle, though, Felitcia is already snoring on the bed beside her.

"Felitcia?" Rachel calls. She shakes the other woman slightly, but it's clear Felitcia is already off to dreamland. Rachel sighs and shakes her head with a smile. "Oh, well. Another time, then."

She removes Felitcia's shoes to help her sleep more comfortably. After kicking off her own, she lays down in bed beside the actress and pulls the covers over both of them. "Good night," she says softly before she closes her eyes and soon is asleep herself.

Rachel has nowhere to go as Felitcia presses her body against hers. She inadvertently finds herself excited by the other woman's almost predatory insistence on getting what she wants. She licks her dry lips and looks into the other woman's eyes.

"Okay, well, in that case... I-I guess that's okay," Rachel says quietly. "You can take advantage of me if you want to."

Rachel takes a step back as Feliticia advances again, bumping into the bar. "I mean, you're gorgeous, Felitcia," the oracle begins. "Obviously. And, uh, I mean, of course I would love to get to know you better but, uh... Maybe... Maybe we shouldn't do this while we're drunk. I don't want to... To, uh, take advantage of you..."

The oracle is breathing quickly, and finding it hard to concentrate as the actress closes in.

Rachel squeaks with surprise when Felitcia suddenly gropes her from behind. "Eek! Felitcia! Wh-what are you doing?" She quickly stands up, blushing fiercely, and turns on the actress.

"You can't just go around grabbing people like that. You're... you're drunk," the oracle says, though judging by the way she is swaying slightly, she seems to be one to talk.

Rachel is just finishing her second glass of beer and feeling slightly tipsy when she looks around and sees the Jed-inspired chaos happening in the saloon around her. She reached over and gently plucks Alice out of her glass. ”Well, that escalated quickly...” she observes.

Rachel puts her hand on Siobhan's. "No need to apologize. I think your anger actually made you stronger during the fight. We'll just have to help you keep it in check once the battles are over." She gives the other woman a reassuring smile.

That evening, you celebrate in the Old Hitching Post. Plenty of townsfolk have heard that you stopped the faerie attacks, and they are more than happy to pay for you drinks throughout the night.

Rachel raises a glass of beer to the group. ”To the Gaian Explorers! We all fight well together. I’d say our adventuring career is off to a successful start!”

Rachel chuckles at Feliticia's comment. "You know, from what I've seen, Golarion does seem to follow the rules of narrative cohesion."

"Hmm. I'm concerned about that missing amulet, though," Rachel says. "The satyrs' mistress went through a lot of trouble to get her hands on it. What could it be, and what she does she plan to use it for?"

"Fifteen? Holy crap," Rachel says, dumbfounded.

Rachel quirks an eyebrow. "Damn. How long was 'Supernatural' on the air?" she asks in disbelief.

"It's okay. It's okay," Rachel repeats in a soothing tone of voice. As Siobhan trembles, the oracle hesitantly wraps her arms around the warrior in a comforting hug.

As Alice stabilizes the fallen satyrs, Rachel cautiously approaches Siobhan and puts a hand on her shoulder. "Hey. It's okay. The fight's over. You're safe, with friends."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Rachel is badly shaken by the spell but she stands her ground. She uses her magic to heal Jed's injuries, then gives Siobhan guidance on her next attack.

Heal: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

9 healing to Jed. Siobhan gains a +1 status bonus on her next attack roll.

”Aw. Do we really have to go so soon? This guy’s just so nice, isn’t he?” Rachel asks.
