In a sense, it's the treasure he was looking for RKT-7 says matter-of-factly though it could be dangerous in the wrong hands, leaving in the middle whether those hands are Vidrizix' or Pockets'.

Sounds like a cult to me RKT-7 says An old white dragon with dragonkin servants. There's not much use for climbing gear in a forest or on a beach, so that icy crevasse seems the logical choice
