You did over 80 damage to it that round thanks to it's slashing weakness!

Thanks for running it Game Master Tea!
And thank you everyone for taking a noob on board.

The character which will get the experience is this one.

Horizon Hunters

"Impressively well done my friends" - Quinn congratulates those around him, then takes a moment to search the undead - "Wonder where these might have come from? I mean, undead creatures don't just simply wander through the countryside, now do they?"

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Again Quinn observes the creature, trying to discern its patterns.

Devise a Stratagem large undead: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Recall Knowledge (Undead/Religion)?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Geeeez a 1 and a 20. Talk about extremes... But that is a Recall Knowledge crit, yes? :D
+1 circumstance bonus to everyone on their next attack roll against the large Undead!

Deciding against a direct attack, he chooses to aid Basag on his attacks "Piercing weapons are no good, but maybe I can assist..."

Aid (roll decided by the GM? Is it not an attack?): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 (+ an eventual skill bonus. +4 is from Quinn's Cooperative Nature)

Actions:
- Devise a Stratagem (Known Weaknesses as part of this action)
- Share the info from Known Weaknesses (free, right?)
- Move
- Aid Basag.

Devise a Stratagem large undead: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Recall Knowledge (Undead/Religion)?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Since at the moment, attacking the large creature does not seem like a good option, he instead tries to share with his companions the information he can recall about the monstrosity - "Focus on the large one" - he urges them.

If Recall Knowledge is successful, each ally gains a +1 circumstance bonus to their next attack roll against the subject, as long as their attack is made before the beginning of your next turn. (or at least this is how I believe it works :D). Plus if there is info on the undead, Quinn would have access to some, correct? Vulnerabilities, and/or resistances and such?

Then he moves forward to attack the smaller undead.

Sword Cane: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Actions:
- Devise a Stratagem (Known Weaknesses as part of this action)
- Share the info from Known Weaknesses (free, right?)
- Move
- Attack smaller undead.

Quinn ponders what he knows about the layout of the region - "Perhaps we can find an alternative path?"

Belated answer to Quinn. Didn't mean to ignore you -- had a bout of hay fever yesterday. Kinda hard to role play while sneezing every few seconds :)

"Scouty's fine now. He's not normally this careless though." Heather's hands are full of mud as she rubs the areas of his fur to remove the oils causing her friend pain.

No worries, no worries - hope you are feeling better.

"Good, good - how do you come to friendship with such a... Wild creature?" - the inquisitive man continues - "I mean, if you do not mind me asking"

The next morning, in spite of the weather, Quinn wakes up in a good mood, as usual - "Did you also hear some sort of rustling around the camp last night? And some yapping or howling?" - he asks his companions as they get ready to break camp.

"My eyes are not accustomed to darkness, but I am ok with any watch, as I assume there will be fires around the camp" - Quinn nodded to the others.

Heather, I laughed :)

"Is your friend... Scout ok?" - Quinn inquired.

Quinn is naturally drawn to the discussion - his scholar side naturally pushes him to try and assist in clarifying the merits inherent to the knowledge of how to cultivate crops, and which species exactly are the best for specific types of terrain.

”Apologies for barging in, but it so happens I have just recently come across a book on seed mutation, wherein I read an interesting passage detailing the...” - he tends to go on and on.

"Well met to you lady and gentlemen" - Quinn bowed - "It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Quinn, and I am a scholar, a traveler, and even though I would not have the pretense of speaking in the name of my companions, I think you can call us all... Adventurers?" - he smiled, and looked at the others.

Rolling Society as requested before: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

"Curiously, he never told us anything about the payment involved" - Quinn adds with a smile.

"Hefty sum are words with a nice sound to them, mainly when combined" - Quinn nodded, taking a step further - "Well met Mr Rindix. I am Quinn, and I may be interested in this job offer - what sum are we talking about exactly?" - he added, sitting on the bar.

I am going with a straight up Sense Motive. Perception +6

Quinn approached the caravan with curiosity - guard duty would not be his choice of a job, but then again his pouch was running low, and as everyone knows, the brain tends to work erratically when the stomach is empty.

The dark-skinned half-elf drew his curiosity, but Quinn was trying to be less inquisitive about other people's lives - it seems some do not take kindly to it, so he remained silent, and simply listened if any details about the job itself were forthcoming.
