The Exchange 2/5

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm chomping at the bit to play the Swashbuckler in the Skulls and Shackles AP.

Glass River Rescue now listed for the evening slot on 10/12! :)

Woot!

The Exchange 2/5

Any chance of someone running a third game in the evening slot of the 12th? Maybe the Disappeared or Glass River Rescue.

The Exchange 2/5

Personally I'd say go with the witch.

The Exchange 2/5

Yeah, they changed my schedule again. I've gotta work Thursday and Friday night that week.

The Exchange 2/5

So, for those characters affected, do we just go ahead and change the faction?

My guess would be wait until August and see what actually happens.

The Exchange 2/5

Lantern Lodge and Shadow Lodge.

I'm back! and the Shadow Lodge shall never fall to the likes of the Aspis Consortium! But I have a quick question, Will we be having a Info table for Geekout? Just curious.

Edit: Also If anyone is interested in giving GMing a go, the Shadow Lodge games on Friday's are always open to new people. I can't run this week, trying to get some things squared away, but i can defiantly show up. It would make my week a whole lot less stressful if I don't have to run. But ill be sure to prep something just incase.

Just heard back from the Geekout folks. We've got ourselves a table.

The Exchange 2/5

Sorry folks, my schedule at work was changed and they have me coming in on Thursday night. I'll ned to cancel my noon game on Friday.

-Dink

I'll bring my box set of Chez Geek. If we have the extra people I can set up for noon or the evening slot.

Don't forget, May 30th is also Tabletop day at Wyvern's Tale. So we'll need to run some games that aren't Pathfinder.

If someone runs a game of Dresden Files, I'll end my 6 month streak of non-attendance to play in it.

I'd also be slightly tempted to offer to GM a run-through of the new Star Wars RPG Beginner Game, but I think that adventure probably needs a 6-hour slot.

Talk with Simeon, but I'm pretty sure he's wanting to try and get games that have been run on the Tabletop show.

I've got a bit of a hankering to run something this Friday in the 7-11 range. Any requests?

Portal of the Sacred Rune.

Challenge accepted.

The Exchange 2/5

Count me in for the modules, I've been wanting to play in some of these for ages.

There has been some interest in a High level game at an off-time non-lodge day... I will put this out there for your consideration... March 25th is a Monday that I will have off... I'd be happy to run one of the 7-11 season 0s that I have on deck... who thinks they would like to play in one of those?

Count me in. What time were you thinking?

The Exchange 2/5

Count me in.

The Exchange 2/5

Knight-Captain Simon Drake, at your service. *bows*

The Exchange 2/5

I concur that the cults should be the true concern. Such people do not follow reasonable thought and so are unable to agree to careful negations.

It would be very costly if such groups were to come into control of Varisa, either through their own machinations or the resurgence of some ancient power.

Question, is "force" magic considered an energy type within society rules? Every time I try to look it up all I get are theoretical arguments. X.x;

Depends on the context. But yes it is usually considered another energy type like acid, fire, or sonic. An example would be the attunement ability of the Bladebound Magus, since one of the listings is for force damage.

Ah I won't be around that early on Friday, darn! Just figured out how to do the warhorn thing... computers and I are not usually friends.

Chances are good that someone will run a second game after the first.

The Exchange 2/5

Sorry, folks but I woke up feeling like nine kinds of hell this morning and I won't be able to make it today.

The Exchange 2/5

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Your second attack from a higher BAB will always be the main BAB -5. So in your case it is 7/2.

The Exchange 2/5

Hmm to go or not to go, that is the question.

The Exchange 2/5

Hey folk, big announcement brewing on the horizon. We might be getting the Shattered Star and Rise of the Runelords APs sanctioned for society play.

The Exchange 2/5

Don't forget folks, Wyvern's Tale will be closing early this Friday. Make sure you have your games finished by 8pm.

The Exchange 2/5

Yep, you can make any changes that you want to your character before they reach level 2.

The Exchange 2/5

1 person marked this as a favorite.

First you must pay for a +1 enchant on a MWK weapon. Which would be 2000gp. After that you can spend 6000GP to add the corrosive enchant, making it a +1 corrosive weapon. Which all told makes this an effect +2 cost wise.
For the Endless Ammunition enchant, you would need to pay the cost to bump a +2 to a plus +4. Which means you would have a +1 corrosive endless ammunition weapon.

The Exchange 2/5

Congrats Jake, I'm looking forward to seeing you at my table on Saturday.

Can an inquisitor be neutral even if the deity isn't neutral, or is it just like a cleric in that regard?

You've got to be within one step of your deity's alignment on either the law/chaos or the good/evil axis.

The Exchange 2/5

Damn, and I was so looking forward to time travel.

The Exchange 2/5

2 people marked this as FAQ candidate. Staff response: no reply required.

Paul, we all knew this would happen. But damn, it is still really cool! Congrats, man.

The Exchange

I'd go standard collection of Mendev good aligned defenders staffing the fort. But have a contingent of Hellknights show up that are doing tours of the Worldwound perimeter. This way if they do any scouting they will be caught unaware.

The Exchange 2/5

I'm simply a humble GM, trying to unlock the achievement for TPK.

The Exchange 2/5

In that case I'll just wait to do Diamond Gate. Put Citadel back on the 5pm slot.

The Exchange 2/5

Hey Dink, any chance I can run my Citadel of Flame at noon? That way I can play in Diamon Gate at 5.

The Exchange 2/5

You can count in Simon Drake for Storming the Diamond Gate. My inquisitor has a reputation to uphold now.

I'm thinking of making a Cleric lately and I'm going to go for it. The only issue is i can't decide what race to go with. I'm going to be going straight out healer with the Archetype for Merciful Healer, and I'm not sure if dwarf or human would be best. Maybe even another class has benefits im not thinking of?

Also, does the arcane failure rate count against divine spells?

Go human. Since you'll be using channel more than anything else, and you really don't want a negative against your charisma.

And arcane failure rate has no effect on divine spells.

Yes, Chris, I do believe there will be a session this coming weekend at the WT.

In fact, I guarrrrrrrr-annnnn-TEE it!!!!

-Dink

Hey, Dink. Could you put me down for running Citadel of Flame on the noon slot?

The Exchange 2/5

At noon I could run Citadel of Flame for any 1st or 2nd levels.

The Exchange 2/5

Sonne Silver wrote:
if theres spots, id love to come play the game on the 30th and i'll drag aly with me

I've got 3 of the 5 spots taken, and I'm giving the GM's first pick on joining this game. If none of the others ask to join by Thursday and the ones that are already playing are fine with it, then sure.

The Exchange 2/5

So I was thinking a 5PM start time for any GM's that wanna come and play the module I'm running on the 30th. After reading though it, the group should be done by 10:30, or 11.
What do you think?

Ok so just to clarify further, if I have the serpentine form and it starts out with a 16 dex and 12 str, it gets a 17 dex and 13 str at level 2?

And thank you!! ^_^

That's my understanding of the rule.

You're welcome.

The Exchange 2/5

AlyGlows wrote:
Random question, can someone explain to me Str/Dex bonus? I know Summoners (What I have) and Druids can get this, but how does it work? The wording is puzzling me.

You get to add the amount shown on the list, depending on what level your Summoner is to your Eidolon's strength and dexterity scores. For a 1st level it should be +0, but at level 2 it becomes +1.

The Exchange 2/5

The time isn't set in stone. So if we get a consensus from the other GM's I'd be all for changing the time, or the date. Just let me know what works best for you guys.

The Exchange 2/5

This is how it starts, soon the entire board will be bronies.

Anyway, I wanted to show my thanks for all our hardworking GM's. They don't get to play too often, so I would like to run a special module for them alone. Any of our GM's who are interested, and have a character in the level range of 3-5. Can join me at the Wyvern's Tail, at noon on the 30th.

The Exchange 2/5

Number for Marcus is 38811-2

The Exchange 2/5

Simeon, I'd be happy to run a scenario for the other time slot at noon. I've got a low level and a couple mids I could prep for whomever shows up.

And I really wish I had dropped more than $30 into the Kickstarter!

Jason.

The Exchange 2/5

Groovy, can't wait.

The Exchange 2/5

We try and keep the calendar on here updated, but our normal schedule is every other Saturday. So for June we'll be gaming the 9th and the 23rd.
