How big is the plinth? That's where the offerings would go, right? Is it big enough to put, say, a Datch-sized creature on it?

Quentin grabs a couple files, and then makes for the exit at the end of the hallway. He keeps his pistol pointed at Datch, urging their prisoner forward. "I don't know about you, but I'm ready to get out of here."
I'm not against exploring south, but if the door at the end of the hallway isn't shielded Quentin will prefer getting out here.

Crouched down by the corpse of the assassin, Quentin is momentarily surprised by a discovery. "Team, I found a hidden subdermal graft just above Iroiveth's right hand. It's a variant of the current Starfinder insignia that many agents bear for identification, one that hasn't been used for at least a hundred years though. I wonder what that's all about?"

He then looks over the papers. "I'm guessing we don't have time to take the files, right?"

Honestly, with a table of 4 it's hard when 2 of the people are hanging back to make it fun for the others. I know replays and GMing give prior knowledge, but I personally have more fun when everyone is pushing without letting their knowledge get in the way.

It's less fun for me to be directing other PCs. But I will try and make more decisions for the group (which is why I suggested opening the door that turned out to lead to the vacuum of space!)

So... this is the part of Starfinder that I'm shaky at. My plan is to, pretty much always, encourage Charlie while he's our Gunner. And since I think the check is either a DC 10 using Piloting ranks/BAB + Dex OR a DC 15 using Diplomacy... I'll try and use the same skill since it's a little bit better.

Ah, then Quentin is going to change his action as he is acutely aware of how unsavvy he is with tech.

Realizing that he hasn't even a remote idea of what to do with the console, he panics and says, "I, uhhh, don't know how to work this. Can someone do it?"

He then moves aside and draws his pistol out of its holster.
That should still keep me within the two move actions

Rally wouldn't have much trouble finding a flurry of
articles from two years ago. Headlines with 'New Wonder Drug with Disastrous Side Effects', 'Clinical Trials Should Catch This: Kintan Pharmaceutical Fails its Stakeholders', 'Genetic Correction in Medicine - Where are the Ethics Watchdogs?'. The last article is simply titled, 'Kintan CEO Steps Down'.

Quentin nods, comfortable around all the creature comforts. "It's okay Rally, I can make my own." He pulls a small bottle with a brown liquid in it, a can with a dark, syrupy and fizzy liquid, and pours both into a short glass with ice.

To the verthani man he says, "Do you have Denanne's schedule? Will she be back soon, or is she in a game right now?"

Used to leadership, Quentin finds himself sitting in the captain's chair on the bridge of the Pegasus. He spends a good portion of the first day learning the controls though, as he's more accustomed to having a pilot fly ships for him.

When Rally comes by looking for an interview with the former CEO, he declines. "No offence, but if the press didn't want my side of the story before, I doubt anyone wants to hear it now."

Quentin collects his credits and, when accosted by Bert, says, "We're looking for a specific person at a game. A friend of ours named Drennnae Karrsi. I'm betting you know them... Hah, 'betting'!" He says the last bit with a friendly smile.

"I'm going to assume that this archdirector isn't ursine in shape? And this isn't how I've handled most negotiations, but I regretfully can't say that this is the first time I've handled an executive meeting in a casino. At least it's not a brothel," Quentin makes a face, clearly recalling an unpleasant memory.

"Is Karrsi any good at gambling? Is there a game of choice that we should veer towards? Something where the odds can be in our favour?"
