Paizo appeared to be down when I went to post yesterday. Sorry for the delay

Tentacle/5 rounds left: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19+5 vs already grappled
Tentacle damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Pyuvir takes to the air, held aloft by the bonds of his fly spell. He drifts casually towards the centre of the room, about 10 ft up (Pretty sure I don't have to roll for that, if I'm reading these rules right), continuing his bombardment. "Perhaps we should move on. It would seem that the bugs will keep coming."

Magic missile damage: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 2, 1) + 5 = 14 Whichever target seems weakest.

My vote is we move on. Pyuvir has bigger goals than blowing up bugs. He does still have all his high level slots though, so I'm fine to stay if that's what everyone else wants.

Tentacle grapple/6 rounds left: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26+5 vs already grappled
Tentacle damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Pyurivr glances around furtively, but sees nothing. He shrugs an stalks through the room following Matin. "Seems like a plan". He slings another magic missile at the untrapped bug.

Magic missile: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 4, 2) + 5 = 20

Oops. Sorry guys.

Pyuvir frowns at his ineffective fire and switches tactics. He goes for a lighter bombardment, as the fight is winding down, and aims magic missiles at the trapped bug closest to him.

Blank tentacle grapple/7 rounds left: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22+5 against targets already grappled
Tentacle damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

To start the next round off...

Tentacles check to maintain grapple/against anything else that enters: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25 Against targets that are already grappled, there's an extra +5
Grapple damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Pyuvir concludes that his allies are taking care of the fight up north, and opens fire on the termite closest to his potion.

Scorching ray 1 ranged touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Scorching ray 2 ranged touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

Scorching ray 1 damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 3) = 14
Scorching ray 2 damage: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 2, 4) = 14

Are the walls worked stone or rough? I want to know if transmute rock to mud would work here.

Calardan, that is one scary build. I'll be sure to get you that haste before the next fight.

Matin definitely needs light, lowlight only.

Can we retroactively declare that Pyuvir cast light on something of Matin's before the shooting started?

Before entering, Pyuvir takes Matin's wand and draws out the magic to the best of his ability. He nods at Rhodoh's assessment, and remarks "Perhaps it is better to remain flexible."

He remains cautious as he enters the room, keeping an eye out for trouble. His caution is rewarded, and thanks to his quick reflexes, he takes off running the instant trouble starts. Iv flutters out from under his cloak and acts as his eyes, allowing him to neatly pivot and emit a wave of magical force. Grasping tendrils erupt from the ground, pinning two of the moths and waving angrily at the rest. "Cover the big one, I'll lock down the small ones!" he exclaims.

Moving south, indicated on the map. Casting black tentacles on two of them. Indicated on map. 20 ft radius, I did my best with the circle. Anything entering the area also takes the same grapple with the same check.

CMB to grapple: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
Damage if grapple works: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Pyuvir has darkvision. He could also be keeping light active for anyone who needs it

Pyuvir remains distant from the door, and avoids looking at it directly. His steady gaze focuses on the ground, and then the walls beside the door. Swirled in the shadows of his cloak as he is, he appears as more of a shadow than a person. He calmly remarks "I know not what it could be. But I doubt it would be untoward to suspect danger." Advancing to Matin's position, he inquires "Perhaps some magical assistance would be appropriate?" While waiting for an answer, he begins to weave magic over himself. His quick hand gestures result in a growing field of energy around him.

I got bull's strength, blur, fly, haste, enlarge person, invisibility, and greater invisibility. Any requests?

For himself, he's using mage armour, shield, eagle's splendour, fly, and displacement. I'm saving displacement until right before we kick the door in because of the shorter duration though.

Update: finished gear. The statblock is complete. I'm now going to duplicate it and add all his buff spells, and create one for his familiar.

It's because I hadn't quite finished my shopping spree yet. I'll have a finished version by tomorrow.

Pyuvir, you can take 10 on a spellcraft check to make items but you can't take 20 since there's a risk of failure. So that means you can craft up to CL 18-5 per spell you don't know. You can however use crafters fortune, fox's cunning, etc to up that limit.

Oops, yeah you're right. Okay. Sorry about that.

I took the liberty of utilizing Pyuvir's crafting services. In addition, Matin has mundane armor crafting capabilities.

Glad to be of service!

For reference, Pyuvir can craft any weapon, armour, or wondrous item of up to a caster level of 28, -5 per spell he doesn't know (By taking 20 on spellcraft). If that still doesn't work, hit me up and I can modify his spell list.

(Vampire cat here)

I'm throwing this Fetchling sorcerer into the pot for boss fight one. He's a very utility sorcerer, and I tried to get most of the important buffs and battlefield controls spells, with just a little bit of blasting.

Not yet finished, obviously. The spell list and feats list is under revision. In particular, I'd like to take requests for crafting from the rest of the party before I finish them. Craft magic arms/armour will be dropped if unused. I'm also still working on a more exact gear list.

Two questions: Traits? How shall we calculate health?

I'm very happy to hear suggestions on making a stronger character.

I should also add that I'm willing to run a boss battle after this one and already have some ideas.
