HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Due to circumstances beyond my control relating to various aspects of my life (family, work, and health) I am afraid that, for the time being, I must leave the games for now. I apologize for not posting sooner, but, as stated, things have gotten beyond hectic in my life.

I am sorry for any troubles this may pose in the games. I wish you all the best in both life and games, and who knows? Maybe in the near future I will be able to play with you all once again in a different game.

Pyotr leans in. "If you want to keep your head, I suggest you answer to the best of your ability. Where is your base? And, if you had to take a guess, about how many are there. Ten? Thirty?"

Pyotr was starting to get a little worked up, but was trying his best to keep his cool.

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Pyotr clenches tight when he sees the dagger embed itself in the fools leg, but justice (and intel on the enemy) are a necessity out here in the backwoods.

"We should also ask how far away his fellows are..."

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Catching up, sorry for absence.

With the fight over, Pyotr cleans his blade quickly and looks about. None of his allies were hurt, or at least not enough to warrant much need for concern.

"I did fine enough, Derren. Could have gone better though..." At the mention of the tavern girl though he tenses, memories floating up. "The Stoat..."

Pushing them back down, he joins the others as they begin to crowd around the formerly sleeping bandit. "It is our duty to put these men to the sword or rope. He has already proven himself a coward and a bandit. As for his punishment? I am no judge nor philosopher. I will. however, carry out the execution if you all feel it necessary." It was a grim task, but one that, sadly, probably had to be done.

I apologize for the absence. Between the festive weekend, horrible weather Monday, and spending a large amount of time at the doctors Tuesday (I'm fine, but now on several meds), I found my energy for games those days, well, sapped. Catching up now, will post ASAP.

Will not be able to post until the morning, just got engaged!

Thanks for the heads up, Derren!

Growling some, Pyotr's blade flashes forward at the bandit before him. "Down!"

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Hearing Devon dash forward and a twang from a bow, as well as spotting Carina summon her snake, Pyotr dashes forward towards the closest bandit.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Damage if a hit: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Stealth: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 4 - 1 = 19

And now to deal with these "tax collectors" the American way: By force of arms! (Cue Battle Hymn of the Republic with more explosions and bald eagles)

Pyotr waits with bated breath for the gate to open and these fools to enter. He wasn't one for all this underhanded tactics, but they have proven themselves largely lacking in honor and thus undeserving.

"Come on..."

Apologize over absence. Life struck and struck hard over the weekend. Catching up now on what I have missed.

Hearing Derren make his comment, Pyotr waves a hand nonchalantly. "At least the board eventually got nailed." Pausing for a second he then snaps a look at Derren. "No funny quips about that in front of Ms Svetlana."

Listening to Oleg, he nods along. The bandits have always been an issue, though this far north this was very peculiar.

"Well, I trained with the Swordlords, though I still consider myself, for the time being, no true master. But my skill is good, very good, as Derren here will attest."

Looking to Derren, he nods. "You are right, Derren. I forego the buckler in favor of straight offense. I can take a position opposite you at the gate, much like that one time in Restov when Swordlord Fera... Well, much like that one time several years ago." Blushing some, he straightens up. "And best be to it quickly. Though Carina is right, we should put up hoods and ponchos if you have them, or Pharasma may decide to take us early..."

Laughing at Bolys and Carina's attempts. "Sorry... Are you two fine?" Taking a hammer in hand himself, Pytor attempts to help hammer in a nail as well.

Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Oleg waits for Bolys to climb up, following suit. Looking down at the post, he notes that Derren is not seen. Frowning, he quickly notices that the only place they could be is in the home.

Don't do anything unbecoming, Derren... Looking over at Oleg, he smiles. "So, Ser Oleg, how long have you been here?"

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Catching the apple, Pyotr holds it to be fed to Kopyto. "Thank you, Carina, I'm sure they love it." As if to say so, the horse neighs and begins eating it.

"And you are also quite right! Oleg, good ser! If there is anything needing done around your post, please feel free to ask. We'll be here for a bit, so we want to make sure the place is, as they say at Silverhall, ship shape."

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

Leading Kopyto into the stable, Pyotr dismounts and begins rubbing her down with the dandy brush. "You did well, today, Kopyto I'll have to look into getting you some apples and carrots, yes we will!"

Turning back to the others, he sets the brush down. "Proper introductions then, yes? Pyotr Nikol Tovanya, Aldori Swordlord, at your service." He does a small bow, his upbringing showing despite his best efforts.

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

As Carina curtsies, Pyotr gives her a warm smile. "It pleases me to see you in good health, Madame Sinicka. And I don't mind you didn't call on me. Had I been more aware of the happenings, as they were, is the city, I would have called on you."

As Oleg reads the charter and Carina explains it, it sounded much like what he had expected: mapping and bandit detail. A good first step for a Swordlord on their own at least.

"Pay Ser Orlovsky no mind Madame Sinicka. Unless a proper representative from Brevoy arrives, I'd rather forego most formalities. Call me Pyotr, please." Turning to Oleg, he gives the man a warm smile and a nod. "We'll be in your care, good Ser. May our business here be to our mutual benefits, yes?"

He reaches down and pats Kopyto softly. Looking at the others, he smiles before turning back to Oleg. "Do you have stabling?"

Pyotr smirks as he sees Derren being treated like a porter, stifling a small laugh. "It appears the lass knows how to handle both their horse and you, Derren."

Bringing his horse to a trot to catch up with the other's as he listens more to Derren. "A wager? Over a woman? I know better than that. But a race?"

Ride: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

How about being murder-hobos versus other murder-hobos?

Or a fantastically nasty, brutish and long one!

But what if I am a murder-hobo who wants to kill him, eat his chickens, and burn his home?

As Derren rides up, he notes the man's left hand on his sword hilt. He still remembers...

Taking his hand, he gives it a firm shake. "And well met to you, Ser Orlovsky. And I thought I heard Lupei going on about you. Good thing you left when you did, he's taken to the bottle again." Pulling his hand back, he sizes the man up.

He had gotten more lean, it seemed, but he could tell that the frame belied a hidden quickness about it. "No, Ser Orlovsky, I am no longer mad. At least, not as much. But I'll know better than to introduce you to... Well, let's just say that time has scabbed over that old wound."

As he is introduced, he looks over at this 'Sorry' madame. Giving a courteous bow, he looks to Derren. "Ser Derren Orlovsky speaks to highly of me. And himself, of course, but too highly of me. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He give a low bow from his horse and then looks to the others.

"And who might you all be?"

HP 11/11, AC 17 T 13 FF 14, Fort+2 Ref +4 Will -1

As he rides forth towards Oleg's, Pyotr had been informed he would be meeting others hired by the Lord Mayor and the Swordlords. They didn't really tell him much on that regard, and it sort of made him feel off. Withholding information like that could lead to trouble.

Then again, it could be that the person informing him had no information to give in regards to his now companions. Not unheard of in Restov, really. And so, with adventure in the air, he had set out.

The trip itself was uneventful, if a bit boring. And now, with the trade post in question looking on his horizon, he begins to see some folks gathered. And as he approaches, he begins to hear an all too familiar voice.

"By the Bones and their Mistress, if it isn't Derren Orlovsky. What, pray tell, brings you this far from the comforts of Restov?"

Sorry about not posting, internet in my town is buggy as all hell. Just started working well enough to allow me to post T_T

@Derren: Considering they are both using Aldori Dueling Swords, of noble houses, it does make sense that they would know each other. A rivalry/friendship is not off the table!

@Carina: Yoiu might have even been assigned to the lowly noble house Pyotr hails from, at least for a short time perhaps. Knowing one another is an interesting set-up for the two of them. Her being Aasimar, she's probably easily two to three times as old as he, though if he had met her as a child, he'd be shocked some to see she has aged very little if at all.

@Sorry: It's fine. Puppetmistress might actually be a cool way to go. Counciler or Grand Diplomat may be what you're looking for.

Was going to hop on yesterday, but internet was down. But yay! I'm in!

Pyotr here is a fighter first and foremost, so most of his social dealings will be done from a fighter's point of view of 'might makes right', though he uses his sword for good.

Battle wise he's going full on Aldori Swordlord, focusing everything on his dueling blade.

Kingdom wise, he's going for General, so long as the monarch isn't too bad. If they are, then I smell civil war a brewing!
