Yes. I'm trying to figure out how this exceptionally poorly-written feat would work.
This is the problem with Pathfinder: it's basically laws without a judicial branch to interpret them, and a different executive at each table. Occasionally the legislature makes clarifications, but only on a whim.

What about wizard and quicken with sacred geometry?

The spell (assuming it's a standard action) would normally increase to the sorcerer-like casting time (which still falls under the purview of quicken). Sacred geometry prevents that casting time increase; what leads you to believe it stops there?

This is as opposed to quicken spell, which also indicates that it does not increase the casting time, but to which you assume the swift action effect still applies?

So the specific reminder regarding reducing casting time in sacred geometry precludes applying the actual feat, while the same thing in quicken spell does not?

the spont. caster can also then cast that spell without provoking AoOs

So it wouldn't change it to a swift action - it just wouldn't provoke?

For the 0.01% of people who play games where GMs allow use of sacred geometry...

Sacred geometry points out that applying quicken mitigates the increase in casting cost. So does quicken spell.

Which of the following is accurate?

A. Quicken spell applies, mitigating the additional casting time from itself and all other applied metamagic feats.

B. Quicken spell applies, mitigating the additional casting time from itself and all other applied metamagic feats, and also functioning as quicken spell (i.e. allowing spell to be cast as swift).

Wording in question: "...applying the Quicken Spell metamagic effect negates the increased casting time but still contributes to the modified spell's effective spell level."

Wording from quicken: "You can apply the effects of this feat to a spell cast spontaneously, so long as it has a casting time that is not more than 1 full-round action, without increasing the spell's casting time."

If A is the case, does that also imply that a spontaneous caster using quicken just gets +4 caster level for...nothing?
