Good call Kardas... I wasn't sure if the bats were dead but it looks like they are. Therefore, I'll take you up on that. Would you mind terribly if I took 2 charges? I can also carry it in combat and serve as healer so that you can devote all of your actions fighting. I only have one spell left for the day.

What was a routine procedure turned out to be a nightmare... eat your vegetables folks, and check your cholesterol. Do it early, and do it often. I'm still shaky, but no longer in negative HPs! you might want to bot me if I'm slowing you down in the next few days though...

Thank you all for the wishes of good luck as they may have made the difference! Also send a thank you prayer for Mike: a guy who had wisely listened during his classes and maxed his ranks in Heal. Without his expert knowledge and his leadership with another half-dozen wide eyed professionals who had NOT maxed up their ranks in Heal (and had instead cross-trained in Performance: Drinking Games), I probably wouldn't be here today.

Princess Mindy is at a loss here as to how to 'deal' with the situation... nudging a nearby onlooker, Mindy says, "My good man, is that Lura, seated over there beside that towering woman? I'm here to discuss a business deal with her. How long is this... blood-sport... going to last?"

"Let's think this through: why did you not go to the clerics for a cure to your son's illness? it seems to me that if that woman dies, your son would risk dying as well, which makes this task a bit more delicate than the 'regular' Pathfinder assignment... also, what will prevent her to continue to make your life a living Hell even if we 'convince' her to heal your son fully? you see... we're kinda stuck... if we kill her and find out she has no cure, it's bad; if we don't kill her, she'll eventually find out what we did to her men, then kill you... or worse: use your son against you to keep you as her personal slave..."

Princess Mindy taps her finger on her lip a few times.

"Well... unless you or someone has a better idea, it appears that she needs to be handled by us... permanently... and by that I mean 'regular Pathfinder style.' We run the risk of losing our own lives and finding out that there is no cure, but if that's the case, you can always seek out clerics to address your son's illness."

Princess Mindy steps into the shop, just to see what the fuss was about, humming a tune...

"If some of you rely on shadows to be sneaky, I plan to lodge this into something, far away from the group."

For the moment's Mindy's crossbow bolt lights up everything within twenty feet of her, however. She lays a gloved hand over the bolt's fletching to douse the light.

Princess Mindy approaches and one of her two silk gloves shines brightly for a moment. She raises her gloved hand forward, palm out, aiming to encompass all three sailors, and a blast of fire erupts forward.

Ok. I did read your alias, but was questioning the "functions as summon monster 1" since summon monster 1 has a cast time of 1 round. It is a standard action so we are in combat.

I know, it's pretty good. I think Summoners have it the same way too. It's the one schtick for that character though, and I can't do it all day... unlike a sword and board fighter a.k.a. King of the Low Levels :P
