“A witch? A WITCH?!” Prince Ribbit croaks with increasing indignation as his bright orange eyes flash with righteous anger. “Heinous hag! Was it you who turned me into this?” With one swift motion he draws his blade and brandishes it in a criss cross motion. Jirneau’s advice to first try diplomacy is completely forgotten in his quest for vengeance against whomever turned him into a frog.
“En garde! No one else will suffer my fate—your cursing days are at an end!”

Sorry, a witch is the one enemy Ribbit wouldn't deign to talk to.

Ribbit swallows the last of the bug and properly focuses his attention on the trio of leshies.
“Quite so, there seems to be a growing plague of idiots in the world. Pip pip to that, I say! We have a friend—who is not an idiot—who would like to live in a forest free of idiots. As Artemios said, we would gladly lend you our aid if you could see fit to accommodating our friend.”

Prince Ribbit's tongue darts out and nabs a passing fly. He is too busy munching on the particularly juicy insect to say anything.

Only one person passed, does anyone wish to spend a hero point to find out all the information? I thought both Ribbit and Katniss passed their Perception checks for the ledges?

Prince Ribbit looks up—way up—as he eyes the ledges and wonders about the flora in the area. Then the small tripkee tries to squeeze inside to investigate the hollows.

“Pish posh--I don’t understand why we’re even bothering with these other locations. The cave was perfect! I suppose it’s a just matter of being thorough though.” Prince Ribbit helps examine the area out of his duty to the Pathfinders.

“Must have been one of those Gray Gardeners we heard about,” Ribbit remarks when Jarvis mentions the gangly creature who gave him a berry. “Odd that he didn’t try to help more, though I suppose the tree might have been too heavy for him to move by himself.”
At the cave the small green swashbuckler listens to the wind, examines the tracks to figure out what creatures might be in the vicinity, then tries to squeeze into the cave to get a better look.

Once Jarvis is clear, Ribbit hops onto the fallen tree and stabs it once, twice, thrice with his rapier. “Fell tree, your crushing days are over!”

“Steady, old chap!” Prince Ribbert bounds forward as he reassures the trapped human. “Jarvis, you say?” The two-foot-tall tripkee doffs his feathered hat with a flourish. “Prince Ribbert, at your service, but you may call me Your Highness.” Replacing his hat, he takes a closer look at the situation. “Now then, let’s see if we can figure out a smarter way to remove this tree.”

“The cave, of course!” responds Ribbit with a flashy twirl of his rapier. “And I wouldn’t worry about that creature in the Gray Gardener uniform—the Gray Gardeners are heroes of Galt, well known for helping those in need and defending the land against demons and undead. They could be a worthy ally!” He pauses for a moment, as if in thought. “Though maybe not if he’s become undead—the shambling part doesn’t sound right for a hero.”
The frogman quickly brushes the thought aside, eager to be on their way. “Pip pip then. We have a cave to find!”

“Sounds like someone’s misguided jolly good fun,” Ribbit comments on the pranks in his croaking voice. “But it sounds like the cave by the river is the best fit for Quillixan’s wants and needs,” he says, returning to the task at hand. “A bit rustic for my tastes, but to each their own.” he remarks as his tongue darts out to nab a juicy fly.

Before seeing the aiuvarin
The tripkee looks at the dog—and the cat riding him—with intense interest. “Splendid to meet you, Artemios and Nadia.” He offers a small webbed hand for a handshake. “I say, were you also polymorphed by a witch? Jolly bad luck to all be in the same boat. If I ever find that witch I’ll make sure she turns you back too.”
After meeting Quill
“Great dragons!” Ribbit exclaims, bounding back and reflexively reaching for his rapier when the horned dragon reveals its true form. After calming down a bit and listening to what they say, he pipes up “Who is this Ruzadoya Swiftmane? And her Reborn?” He circles the tip of his rapier up in the air, as if to rally the troops. “Shouldn’t we gather our forces and confront the evil-doers with a direct frontal assault? Why hide when we can venture forth in a blaze of glory?”

A small green tripkee confidently hops into the room. He sports stylish blue-grey breeches, a crisp ivory shirt adorned with ruffles, a flashy crimson cape, and a jaunty feathered hat that almost brings his height up to two feet.
“Greetings and salutations!” he croaks with a heavy froggish accent. “Prince Ribbit, at your service,” he doffs his hat with a graceful flourish as he bows ever so slightly, “but you may call me Your Highness.” Replacing his hat, he peers more closely at the room’s occupants. “What derring-do do we dare do today?”
