I don't see a new map. The following assumes there's one I can catch flat-footed within 30 feet.

Taking a quick step towards the dogs, Merisiel draws a dagger, flinging it at one of the later ones to arrive, but it apparently so surprised that she sends it into the bushes instead.

Merisiel rushes up to the entrance, vaulting over one of the men at the door, landing inside the house.

One move gets me just short of the doorstep, second move at half speed to get past them.

After Brackett, Maldris, and Telfyr speak, she chimes in "Sounds like a pleasant enough trip to wine country to me. Is there anything shady you think the Andares might be involved in, or just generally being wary." If she has a chance to ask Maldris before he leaves, she'll do so. Otherwise, it'll be directed to Brackett.

Target can't make AOOs, and takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls (-4 vs Merisiel) for one round. Any magical healing removes the attack penalty but not the AOO restriction

Merisiel desperately tries to dodge the creature's claws as she moves around behind it.

Readying a rapier attack once I have a flank. Will put the results in spoilers below to avoid affecting people's decisions.

GM Only:

Regular Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Sneak Attack: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6) = 14
Assuming the Daemon takes damage, it cannot make attacks of opportunity for one round (slow reactions). Additionally, it is bewildered, and takes a -2 penalty to AC, with an additional -2 versus Merisiel's attacks for the next round. Any form of healing removes the bewilderment, but not the slow reactions.
