Hi, all. Just released an initiative tracker app for Android. Seems like there's quite a few out there :) I hope you find the one that best suits your needs, hopefully mine can fulfill that need. Here's a little info: MoFlow is an edition agnostic intiative tracker for d20 based game systems. Other than the initiative tracker, MoFlow includes a Player Character (PC) and Encounter manager so that you can prepare for games beforehand and insert both PCs and monsters into intiative easily. PC Manager:
Encounter Manager:
Creature Catalog:
Initiative Tracker:
For screenshots and pricing please see the app's Google Play store page. If you have questions about the app, please ask. If you have purchased the app and have a feature request, email me at helpdesk@wolfpupsoftware.com and I'll see if it's something I can fit in.
You'll sign up here, usually in the forums. J. Frost usually starts a thread for a call for GM's about a month or few weeks before the con begins. You just say what day or time you can judge and he'll sign you up as a judge for a slot. You get some goodies which is nice, whether that's actual products and/or a discount at the store (at the con).
Interested. Always have been in WoD. Not enough people. It has this strange stigma attached to it (rightly deserved, I suppose). I wouldn't mind for any setting but prefer Vampire, in the style of the Bloodlines PC game. Dark, gritty, sometimes humorous. Would this be play by post or using some chat program?
Huh, I thought they did support PF. Guess not. Thanks for letting me know. Running this off my computer. You can either scan a sheet or send me the relevant information in an e-mail. I recommend that as you play you actually have your character sheet in front of you. I'm going to be using a very, very lightweight custom framework. Since there's alot of new people to Maptools, I was thinking we could start a little bit of the game for the first session but mostly setup macros and such if I don't have that stuff ready by then. I plan to do macros for all your characters or you can do them yourself (less work for me). I'll post instructions later.
Here's a brief history info on the region:
As for the world...like I said, haven't really even drawn that part up yet. Plan to do some of that over the weekend. neofax, sorry I didn't get to you. School started this week and I was pretty busy. Send your character sheets to fallout07 at hotmail . com You can scan a CS or I recommend using www.myth-weavers.com and creating a CS there, set it to public access so I can view. So far:
It seems there's enough interested players. I'm going to set the first game for next Monday, the 27th. Let me know if you have any questions. I won't be using VoIP, at least for the first few sessions (I don't have a mic yet either) but I think other players will. So I'll be listening in onto out of game questions or you can type them if you want. So far of the interested players: Monk,
Redprodigy, I'm planning on starting up a Pathfinder game using Maptools virtual tabletop pretty soon. I'm looking for 3 more players. You can download the client for free at www.rptools.net or directly by clicking this link: http://www.rptools.net/download/zip/maptool-1.3.b74.zip If you're interested, create a character using 20 point buy for ability scores. Try to create the sheet at www.myth-weavers.com or, just send me an e-mail listing your character details, or like a scanned sheet. We plan on playing Monday nights 8pm Eastern time. Don't worry if you're new. I have experience with 3.5 but still pretty new to PF myself. To answer your questions: 1. If you're looking for a face-to-face game in NYC, I think there is a pretty big D&D RPGA group that you can find at www.meetup.com. 2. Yes. Gaming stores will probably carry PF stuff, though they usually tend more towards D&D 3. Just try to get in a game and play (my game!). That is the best way to learn. Don't purchase adventures/splatbooks unless you plan to DM cause then you might spoil for yourself something you might play.
http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/spells/shatter.html#shatter Alternatively, you can target shatter against a single solid nonmagical object, regardless of composition, weighing up to 10 pounds per caster level. I can target a players longsword, right? I'm guessing if the will save is failed, does the spell sunder an object? However, in order for an object to be sundered there needs to be damage. No damage seems to be given. The only damage given is against crystalline creatures.
Just wanted to say thanks to Joshua for organizing the events. I was only there for Saturday but had a great time running and gaming with some very kind and cool people. First time at Paizocon...I'll definitely be there next year. It was a pleasure gaming with guests Clinton Boomer and Rob McCreary.
Hello, I've been wanting to run a Pathfinder Society module for a while now. I'm looking for 4 players who can spare 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday evening to play "Silent Tide". If you're interested please create a character using the 3.5 sheet (as Pathfinder Society currently uses 3.5 rules) while following the "Guide to Pathfinder Society" PDF you can download here at the Paizo website for free. Remember to pick a faction for your character. Please don't be afraid if you don't have experience with Maptools. It looks complex and it can be, but I will have everything setup for you to play. I'll have tokens and macros for your character all ready to go, just make sure you send me your character sheet. First come, first serve. Also, send me a link to a picture you'd like to use for your token. I'm experienced with Maptools and DMing 3.5 and 4e so if you need any help I'd be glad to offer some assistance. BTW...Chronicle Record sheets will be snail-mailed to you.
Hello, I was reading one of the pdf's on the Pathfinder Society (I think it was the guide) and I think it mentioned something about there being no online play for now. This confuses me a bit. I'm guessing the restriction is that the assumption that you cannot get signed record sheets to online players? Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to release downloads of just the Chronicle Record sheets for each adventure. I was thinking I could digitally sign the record sheet with my Acrobat Pro program. However, because the whole .pdf is secured, I cannot digitally sign it. I will not crack the .pdf because it is illegal but I'd really like a non-secure chronicle record sheet so that I can digitally sign the sheet and e-mail it to the players. Thus, which is why I ask for non-watermarked RECORD SHEET ONLY...I'm not talking about the whole PDF. This would solve the problem of the question above. Of course, I can always print it and scan it and e-mail it but that is much more of a hassle than signing it digitally and e-mailing it. Any chance this will happen?
Why should I switch to Pathfinder? I started 3.5 only half a year before 4e came out. I'm not sick of 3.5 and like it alot. Why should I switch to Pathfinder? I guess part of that wants to find something besides 3.5 is that it is damn hard to find players for it now that everyone has jumped onto the Pathfinder/4e bandwagon. I've heard of things getting simpler. What exactly? I see new skills like fly which I think is a pointless addition. Linguistics? There's also things like Challenge Bases to figure things out like grappling and such. Seems just as hassling and complex as 3.5 grapple. Convince me if you'd like.

I was thinking of using Maptools. As for the signed Chronicles...I guess digital signatures don't count :)?
I guess I don't understand Pathfinder society. I thought it was supposed to be the equivalent of RPGA? Also, why charge for scenarios? One of the biggest ways of attracting people to D&D (at least in the area where I live) were RPGA gamedays. Lots of players would come to play and if they didn't have a PHB it would interest them to purchase one. I was expecting Pathfinder Society to be freeplay where GM's who pass a test can just download scenarios. Are there any GM/Player rewards? Thanks. |
