"We're going to need mortar to seal this wall back into place. Perhaps the Pathfinder Lodge can hire a few masons to do the work."

"There might be a few dwarven Pathfinders skilled in stonemasonry to help us." he says with a chuckle.

Do we need to fix the wall ourselves or can we handwave it and say it was done by professionals?

Piotr swiftly casts divine power on himself then brings his blade down hard on the dwarf wearing a yellow bandanna...

The loud blast really hurts Piotr due to his lupine hearing. He is stunned for a split second but quickly shakes off the effect.

Piotr charges the dwarf wearing a cyan tabard then thrusts his sword into the dwarf's side.

"I was joking about other Pathfinders being here." he says.

Piotr places the jewelry back into the sarcophagus and slides the lid closed.

"Looks like some other Pathfinders beat us here. Several pieces of jewelry are missing."

"Seriously, though, let's search this room thoroughly."

"Gah! What is that awful voice!?"

Piotr moves forward to investigate the open sarcophagus.
"Keep your guard up, everyone."

Auto-succeed Perception check.

"Haha. The bricks are just stacked, not held together with any mortar. Stand back, everyone..."

Piotr waits until everyone is at least ten feet back from the wall before he pushes it down.

*crumble, crumble*
The bricks clink and clatter as the wall comes tumbling down.

Piotr glances at the jewelry laid out for a moment but then gets down to business.
"Actually, we'd like to know where you got this item you sold us. Any information would help us immensely."

"Mmmm. Mmm. Mmmmm nom, nom." Piotr mumbles as he stuffs his face.
"More salmon, please. And refill my flagon of gravy." he calls out to the serving girl.

"Well, here's something interesting that happened just minutes ago."
He pulls the newly purchased amulet from his pocket and shows it to Amenopheus.

"It belonged to an Osirian family that fled Osirion to Absalom to escape Qadiran occupying forces, but that family disappeared nearly two millennia ago."

"What do you make of it, sir? Could it be a key of some kind?"

Piotr consults the Osirion section of his Heritage Book...

Piotr whispers to his teammates,
"Can you each chip in, like, 5 gold? It is quite ironic that we get summoned about a matter with Osirion artefacts, and yet, here we're being sold one at a great discount."

Piotr allows the thug to run away.
"Tell your friends not to mess with Pathfinders!” he shouts, shaking his fist at the thug.

Piotr darts up to purple.
"Oh! You want some too?” he jests, motioning towards the dead Blackburn fellow. He then goes for an overhead chop...

Piotr swiftly heals some of his wounds with divine power, Fervor to heal self: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8 (hp healed), then slashes at his Blackburn's chest once again...

He swiftly blesses himself with divine favor then slashes the blade at Blackburn's chest...

He then takes a short step to the side, allowing Lanel to get in on the action.

"Ready as ever."

Piotr points at his eyes, then to Blackburn.
"Watching you." he mouths, before busting out in riotous laughter.

Piotr glances over at the Blackburn fellow...
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Piotr leans toward his group and whispers out of the corner of his mouth while nodding subtly in Blackburn's direction, "Looks like that fellow is going to cause trouble with us after this."

15 it is! Piotr writes it down and hands the paper to whoever is taking the bids.

"Here be my bid, hooman!" Piotr declares, trying his best to sound like a gnoll.

"Hmm. Going to keep my eye on that one"

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Piotr stands and calls out in an odd voice,
"Was that slave at one time a warrior?! I ain't want no hooman slave that gonna fight back after a good whippin'!”

Trying to find out if this is one of the men we need to rescue.
Are there any guards about? Can Piotr just charge forward and try to lop off Bounder's head? Like, can we get into combat here instead of bidding?

As Ollystra finishes, the din of the gala fades behind Piotr, the fire in her words stirring something deep within him.

He straightens, eyes narrowing with grim resolve.
“Those soldiers fought and bled for a better world. If some gutter-scraped bounty hunter thinks he can chain them for coin, then he’s mistaken.”

He takes the auction tokens from her, his voice firm and low.
“They sought redemption and earned it with steel and sacrifice. I’ll see to it their chains are broken—and the ones profiting from their pain regret ever lifting a coin.”

He nods once, resolute.
“You can count on us, Lady Zadrian. They will walk free.”

"Okay. Let's head back to the Grand Lodge after searching around in here."

Since we officially finished the scenario and only doing these sections for fun, the disease is not permanent, correct?

Piotr stares at the slumbering, mutated pathfinder woman at his feet.
"What now? Cut her head off so she doesn't transform into a disgusting ooze?"

He puts the blade of his polearm against her neck and readies a coup de gras...

What should we do?

"Also, maybe don't hit her in the head? Taking out knees is usually effective."

"Okay! I'll try to subdue her!"

"A noble thought. How do you suggest doing so?" It isn't clear if the Professor is taunting a bad idea or nudging a good one.

"I don't know! I hope I just didn't kill her with that blow!"

"Do any of you have remove disease or remove curse?"

"Maybe we shouldn't kill her! Might be a way to save her!" he shouts as the crazed woman lunges at him.

Arrrrgh! Stay back, woman!"
Instinctively, he takes a step back, spins his polearm, then brings the hammerhead down on the woman.

Piotr moves closer to the table and tries to coax out whoever's underneath.
"Come out from under there. There are six of us and only one of you."

Piotr moves forward to the threshold. He scans the chamber with his keen eyes.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31

Armed with his polearm, Piotr moves to the center of the room to get a good look down the southern hallway with his darkvision.

Before moving on, Piotr swiftly snaps his wand from his wrist sheath into his hand and gives himself a couple taps.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Back to full hp, -1 Con & Cha.

"Well, those were more tiresome than we would have preferred. Poitr, we'll buy you an antiplague when we return. Do you feel well enough to continue for now?"

"Yes. I am fine, thank you. The burning sensation is... uncomfortable and annoying." he scratches his hip, then the back of his head. Clumps of his fur falls out. He looks up in dismay momentarily, then steels his resolve.

Oops, my bad. I can't cast third level spells yet. I'll have to wait until the end of the scenario and spend Prestige points to get a casting of remove disease. Carry on.

Piotr has an open 3rd level spell slot. He can pray for a remove disease in 10 minutes, then cast it on himself.

"Hold on, everyone. I need 10 minutes to pray and then I can attempt to remove this disease I contracted."

Do we have 10 minutes to spare?

"Aarrgghh!" Piotr grunts in pain as the creature slaps him in the face.
"Uh-oh. I feel a burning sensation coursing through my veins..."

"Whaaat!? The thing still lives!?" he snarls after landing such a powerful blow.
"Hit them with all you've got! Preferably with fire or acid!"

With black reeling, the Professor sends a magical bolt that sinks deeply into orange…it teeters for a moment…and then rolls over, not moving…

You mean she hit black with the MM, right?

Piotr sheathes his blade at his hip. He takes a step forward into the room as he removes his Bec de Corbin with the hammer end ready to strike. He swiftly blesses the weapon with divine power then smashes the green ooze (or orange if Pinky killed it) just to the left of Lanel.

"I got this... I hope."

Lanel carefully and slowly steps into the room, avoiding any slime trails. He unleashes a magical gout of flame from one hand at orange and green.

"Get back here quick, before those things move toward you." Piotr calls out to Lanel.

"I surely will!" Lanel calls back.

"Let's see if these disgusting blobs burn..."
Piotr stays on the steps and pulls out his newly acquired alchemist's fire. He swiftly prays for the blessing of divine favor, then tosses the vial at the blob covered in black grime.

"Hey! Where'd Pinky go?"

"Those blobs seem quite slow. Well, here you go, everyone..."
Piotr casts Bless! +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

He then switches weapons to his polearm.
"These look like one may want to keep their distance."
He turns to Gnagnatsu,
"Hey, Pinky. Toss one of your little stars at one. Let's see if they spray anything toxic when hit."

"Careful, everyone. The floor is quite slippery from the snail trails of those... things." he gestures at the quivering blobs of flesh.

He pulls out the ancient human femur, mutters a prayer, and lets go of the leg bone to slowly orbit around him.

"It seems safe enough. After you."
