As has brought up in the current CotCT Hardcover discussion thread, there has been a discussion over a potential GM guide to cover aspects, such as: modifying APs/adventures for smaller or larger parties, or handling higher level parties and keeping them running smooth.

James Jacobs wrote:
Frankly, a "how to adapt adventures" product is a good idea. A product that helps GMs adjust adventures for more players or to account for new character build options is something I've wanted to do for a LONG LONG LONG time. It'd double down with a "How do you build adventures" handbook and perhaps even a book to help GMs run higher level content, with tips and suggestions for how to keep a game running smoothly at those levels. Unfortunately, I've had no luck (obviously) convincing management that such a book would be a wise idea to put on the schedule, and they are probably right, since a book like this would most likely sell a LOT less than another book filled with character options.

Now, James has voiced an interest in such a book and I can understand and respect Paizo's reluctance in doing such a book. They are a buisness after all, so they need put their resources into products that will sell.

James Jacobs wrote:
What would REALLY help would be if the customer base were vocal about wanting a book.

What do the rest of you think, as a community?

Would something along these lines be of interest?
What would you be interested in seeing covered?

Discuss...

(And yes... I would very much like a new resource for running games and ideas for handling the pitfalls that come up along the way.)

Well, I'm sticking with my wish that he is working on a "What's New" AP... Besides, it's about time we got updated stats for the What's New Dragon...

Or... having failed to answer the age old question of "Sex and D&D", he is now collaborating with Phil Foglio to bring the Adventure's of Phil and Dixie to Golarion in a whole new "What's New" AP... Growf?!?

(I hope I didn't date myself to much there...)

Jeb Bush is calling for barring all non-Christian Syrian refugees.

That makes him the moderate. The rest of the GOP presidential contenders are all saying NO Syrian refugees.

So yep, the poorly aimed 'backlash' that people feared has well and truly begun... just not in the country that was actually attacked.

LOL... He sounds down right liberal compared to some of my D&D group.

I'm talking staunch Republicans who want to outlaw Islam... up to, and including death for those who do not comply.

Thank god they are not in a position of power...

I ended up canceling my Game today because of what happened in France...

My thoughts and prayers for those affected by this tragedy. I just can't imagine it...

But the rage, and subsequent hate, espoused my some of my fellow gamers.. Well, lets just say Hitler would have been proud.

So I took the day to enjoy the simpler things in life, by participating with my roommates 12 yr old granddaughter's birthday.

With the advent of Pathfinder Unchained (which I love btw...), has any thought been given to renaming the homebrew/house rule subfoum as:

Rules Unchained
(a place to put your homebrew, house rules, or suggestions)

Or, some such?

How do you feel about kytons, anyway? (I know that Mr. Schneider is behind most of Pathfinder's kyton content.)

I think it's great. I love the references, and the takes on the various types. I think it's one of the strongest bits of development we've added to something that started as a pretty one-dimensional concept.

Did Pinhead and the Cenobites have influence with how the Kytons have developed?

With fall here and winter fast approaching, I'm quite fond of a Cranberry Tea steeped in Apple Cider.

But then, there is always the nice Vitamin C boost from Rosehip Tea and Honey.

Bring on winter.. Im ready.

I don't really have anything to add here, but I will add my click as a FAQ question though.

I would follow with the 50% miss-chance here. Displacement does state that you can target the opponent...

"Unlike actual total concealment, displacement does not prevent enemies from targeting the creature normally."

Which seems to me, that a Rogue would be able to stake out the sweet spot he wants to hit.

It would have been nice to have provided a small notation at the end of each skill description of Yes or No to "Take 10" and "Take 20" options.

I swore to myself I was not going to get into this, but this comment realy stuck out with me.

So... how does it feel that you are a part of that "allienated segment"? Doesn't feel good does it?
