Female Red Fox

Why do I see Adam Baldwin playing Ceallach in the live-action adaptation?

Female Red Fox

Javiera sheaths her blade and shook her head. She wanted to bring him in to be tried for all the murders he had committed, and instead now, his blood ran through the streets.

"Is anyone Hurt?" She asked, looking at her fellows, and the crowd. "Someone want to bring the head and the body to the contables? I am sure they'll be glad to have such a menace out of their town."

Female Red Fox

The assassin seemed to flee, so Javiera poked her head out into the alleyway, to see if she could figure out where he had gone off to. Cursing the fates, she swore she would get some training to spot people, and things, since it seemed to be something she was lacking at the moment.

mind: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Female Red Fox

Initiative

Danger sense: 1d12 ⇒ 3Mind: 1d6 ⇒ 2Speed: 1d6 ⇒ 3

When the action began, Javiera was a little stunned, but when her mind refocused itself, and her blade was out of it's sheath lightning fast. And she got ready to charge forward, to hopefully keep him staggered so he couldn't easily hurt her comrades.

Female Red Fox

It's in his ear:

Once Delroy had gotten away(at least with her), Javiera leaned in to whisper to him. "He did touch Rouchàrdon during the events. I didn't want to say it out loud, but I figured you might want to know."

Back to the Present:

Javiera had accompanied The others as per Delroy's request. She kept checking where the sun was, lest she be late for the initiation. At least with the wolf, things might go faster since he was the direct sort

Female Red Fox

By being awesome?

Female Red Fox

Javiera looked over at Delroy, she'd seen that Gang Fei touched Rouchardon during the party, but wondering if announcing it right now would be helpful, or cause more harm.

This wasn't something that she wanted to reveal for the moment, just in case.

"Your ear, if you would Delroy."

Female Red Fox

Javiera had been a little shocked when the tiger appeared, moreso that delroy had noticed them, and knew something about them. It appeared that the young witch hunter hadn't been sharing all the tidbits of his grand adventures.

Or maybe he did that to keep the others safe.

"We should talk, should things give us a spare moment Delroy. Javeira said, her expression not hard or anything like that, more concerned.

Mind: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Female Red Fox

So, without observe, do I default to just mind?

Female Red Fox

Javira nodded. "Of course I will be there. I would be lax in my duties not to attend. She said, before bowing and following Delroy out, the Raccoon now knowing she had a curfew, or else she'd be turned into a pumpkin. When the others seemed to pop out of the crowd, Javiera waved at them, though she seemed a bit more serious, or sad. It was hard to tell.

Female Red Fox

"I should probably continue to accompany him. To make sure he does not find himself alone if another situation like this was to crop up." Javiera said, as she looked over at Delroy. Perhaps that, and she would want to find out more about this mystery, after seeing such horrors, some time out investigating things without dead folk nearby would help get her mind off of that.

Female Red Fox

I know everything! Well, sort of:

And so Javiera described everything she had witnessed, leaving no detail out. As something so shocking, she was able to go into much. Nothing was left unturned, not the amount of the bodies, or the ghost's desire for revenge, The location was mentioned, and everything she knew about the encounter and such

I can't remeber if she saw Delroy pick up the pendant, if she did, that will be mentioned too.

Female Red Fox

Prayers:

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry." Javiera said, as she looked rather sheepish. "I went with someone to investigate a haunted house, and there found a scene that I'm praying for now. After the ghost disappeared, left behind were so many skeletons of those who died there, It was rather disheartening. So I'm trying to pray for the departed, that their souls might find the rest they need. I have just never seen needless death on that scale before with my own eyes."

Female Red Fox

Sorry for my absense. Work got a bit complicated this last few weeks, which isn't your guys fault. Will try my best to check in everyday and post.

Female Red Fox

Bah. Silly ghosties. You'd figure they'd want to be buried.

Female Red Fox

Brrrainz?:

"You'll always have one of us around to box your ears and make sure that your cause is just. Don't worry about that." Javiera said as she climbed up after Delroy. "Gwenn is a good lass, she seems very eager to get out there once her training is done. Hopefully, by accompanying you around some, you might teach her patience, and a little restraint too." She said with a slight smile.

Going to the church sounds like a plan. There are a lot of bones to be retrieved and buried.

Female Red Fox

Good cop:

"I know. We'd have to get some kind of wagon or something, to even begin to cart this amount of bones out of here." Javiera replied, as she walked over to the hole in the Ceiling behind Delroy. She'd let him ascend first. "It just saddens my heart. Something like this should not happen..."

Female Red Fox

"I wish we could remove all of these bones and give them proper burials." Javiera said, the scene of so many dead not helping her either. However, she put her hand on Delroy's shoulder, in an attempt to steady his nerves. "I will suppose that will have to wait, but I imagine that some of these ghosts might find their peace if we did so."

Female Red Fox

Javiera caught the glance, and offered a shrug. She was a paladin, devoted to defending the light. Seeking vengeance was not her way, defense, protection, and offering healing was. The whole thing seemed off, such an act would only create more upset spirits in the long run.

Female Red Fox

"Indeed. We cannot ignore any plight, be it among the living or the departed. Obviously, something has kept you here in this plane. We would rather like to leave here with the knowledge that we helped you find peace and move on." Javeira said, as she looked about for a bit.

Female Red Fox

"I will hold my blade, worry not. I like to be prepared to draw it, just in case the situation turns bad." Javeira said. "Trust me, I would rather send it off by freeing it from the shackles that hold it here.

Female Red Fox

"Would be the most logical thing. I doubt anything still among the living would want to live in a haunted place, unless they had spread rumors of it's haunted state so that folk would leave it be." Javiera replied, as she shrugged at Delroy. She didn't like this one bit, but her job was to keep her friend safe, and do that she would. She reached down to undo the peace-knot on her calendar sword, in case she needed to draw it quickly.

Female Red Fox

"So long as you keep up your work finding and defeating the darkness in this world, I won't ask for a donation." Javiera said. "Of course, it might not be unwise to get in some extra prayer time to give praise to the light that healers are willing to help you when you have a nasty fall." She finished, with a toothy smile, before she began her prayer to heal Delroy of his injury.

Female Red Fox

Following the sound of the Raccoon's voice, Javiera managed to find him and had to stifle a laugh. "You don't look like you hit your head, unless you're considering something else to be more important than that?"

She reached down and helped him to his feet, rather handily, as she was quite strong, she just hadn't had a chance to show that off yet. "Do you need to see a physician, or would a spell of healing be better in this situation?"

Female Red Fox

Delroy's words seemed to snap Javiera out of her fog. A child was in here? That seemed odd. She did her best to zero in on the location of his voice, so she could begin to move in that direction.

"Coming, Give me a moment." She said, as she did her best to move along the ground to where Delroy had shouted from.

Female Red Fox

I see you, wait...:

After Delroy wandered off to do his thing, Javiera was a little shocked as her good hearing seemed to fade away. This was odd. Moreso when she felt the presence of another. Was the spirit trying to keep them seperated? Did it have ill intent for Delroy? Perhaps there were more, victims spirits that had been bound to this place? That wasn't a good sign if so

Female Red Fox

"Well, perhaps if we find it and poke it in the eye, it'll stop watching us." Javiera said as she smiled at Delroy. "We could go and see what it is. Mayhaps you've found the source already? That would be a quick quest. Though, I doubt it will be so."

Potential for threats meant that she might have to defend the two of them, and so she began to undo the peacebond on her calendar sword.

Female Red Fox

Well, the place surely did look eerie enough to have a spirit in the area causing trouble. Javiera was dressed in her entire kit, ready for any sorts of trouble that might come along. She let him do the talking, while she scanned the area, looking for different signs either for perhaps evidence of other types of interference.

Female Red Fox

The wine was good, the company, well, some was good, some not so much. and not everyone was naked, which meant that Javiera could look around the room without averting her eyes too much. She was ready to get this evening over with though.

Female Red Fox

Javiera had been listening to Delroy's story, before he was absconded by Gwenn. That seemed a bit out of character of the novice Paladin, and part of her wanted to follow, mostly to try to escape from the song Ceallach was saying.

There was sometimes a downside for having keen ears that could pick out footfalls from a good distance away. She had a cup of wine in her hand still, that was something to focus on. See how it smelled, tasted, ignoring the song being sung about faeries and their taste in...

Female Red Fox

"We'll see it through." Javiera said. Delroy was a decent sort, she didn't want to see harm come to him, or any of their group. Moreso if these events were going to get worse, investigation and removal of the being behind them would bring a sense of peace to the community. "You have my word that I will do all within my power to assist you in this."

Female Red Fox

"Tell the Abbot what?" Javiera asked, as she took the goblet from Delroy and shrugged at him. "I am more interested in joining your expedition to try and see if a spirit is troubling this area. Since I have been asked to assist you with this, I figured you should start from the beginning and we'll see what we can come up with as far as a plan to investigate these events."

Female Red Fox

"Well, the church has many tasks to handle in the city, there aren't enough people who join to handle all that they wish to handle. But, if Delroy is going to attend to this matter, I would not let anything befall him." Javeira replied. When he turned to address the nobles, she looked about, to see where Delroy had fled to, so she could ask him what he'd gotten into.

Female Red Fox

There were so many interesting thing about the ceiling, that Javiera didn't know what to look at next. Someone was trying to get her attention, and so she managed to pry her gaze away from a particularly interesting tile to nod.

Luckily, her ears had been picking up most everything, though, they were burning slightly from everything that had just happened. And she still had her towel. Excellent.

"Uh, Of course, I would be willing to accompany my friend in these investigations. Someone has to do their best to watch his back and keep him from harm, would there be something that meant him ill."

Female Red Fox

"It is when a ghost or something darker takes control over a body, and needs to be removed." Javiera said, looking over at Quinn, hoping that the rest of the group actually had kept their towels on. "Usually, you will have a powerful priest presiding over the event, with someone like me as backup for when it emerges."

Female Red Fox

"Understood. I'm glad the good mother was able to heal your wounds." Javiera replied. "Makes me wonder if there is treachery afoot. Folks skulking in the shadows tend to have ill thoughts and deeds in mind." Perhaps the paladin was about to say more, when Ceallach discarded his towel. She took up her admiring the ceiling for a few moments to avoid gazing.

She was still considering Mother Agnella's advice, but she'd though of herself more a warrior, and a defender of the light then someone with desires and needs. At least, that was what got her through the day without going insane. Though, she felt it rude to stare, or even glimpse, as she hadn't thought of who she would end up taking to bed eventually.

Female Red Fox

Curses! Nudity is my only weakness. Well, aside from swords, axes, arrows, magic, etc...:

As the patrons began to lose their towels, Javiera kept her view at some of the artwork, and then some of the folks as they entered. Seeing Ceallach enter, looking like he'd challenged a fire to a headbutt contest didn't sit well in her book, and it gave her something to do other than avoid the nakedness.

So, she walked over to him and gave him a look. "Here I thought we were supposed to be safe here. What has happened?" she asked.

Female Red Fox

may the fox be with you:

Javiera nodded, and sighed. "Trained for battle, one sees battles where steps take her. I suppose I need to realize that the social battles are not fought with weapons, rather with words, and ideals." She said, as she stared up at the ceiling. "I know, if I were indulging myself in some things, I wouldn't be bragging about it, like I had bested some creature in single combat. I do what I do not for praise, but because it needs to be done. I do it so that others will not have to walk this road, and that gives me comfort."

Female Red Fox

It's fine. She probably knew with all the prior talk that Javiera might get annoyed at the noble and cause a bit of a scene

Javiera had been shocked by what was going on in the bathhouse, all the gossip, and she was about to say something, that might get her into a bit of trouble, before Mother Agnella took her by the hand, and led her off. She wondered if all nobles were shameless, and made a note to ask the Mother if that were the case. This whole situation had her frazzled some, she just wanted to find that girl, and give her a thump on the head for speaking so brashly about subjects best kept secret.

"Are most nobles like the young woman from before?" she asked, as she shook her mind out of the fog it was in.

Female Red Fox

Mmm. Delicious Fun. Nom Nom Nom:

"I will give it some thought. Since I am so new to being out and on my own, I want to project the image that I believe our order stands for. One of works, faith, and occasionally, some divine justice."[/]b Javiera replied, as she shrugged a little. [b]"But, a few liberties from time to time should not be harmful, correct?"

Female Red Fox

Paladins ruin all the fun:

"I tend to take my vows seriously, Mother Agnella. Probably why I do not get invited to such events. Unless someone is going that the church wants to be guarded." Javiera replied, as she shrugged a little. "So, I try to remain as virtuous as I can in every way I can." Perhaps it was a little old fashioned, but she'd given herself mind, body, and spirit to her job.

Female Red Fox

Well, unless our dear badger, or Delroy's friend want to talk, Javiera is simply relaxing a little.

Female Red Fox

Dinner was good, Javiera made sure to say her prayers before eating. She didn't seen to completely stuff her face with all the foods there, everything in moderation for the Paladin. When Penelopé arrived and began her verbal sparring match with her cousin, Javiera tended to pay it no mind, family squabbles should remain in the family.

The baths were interesting. She'd carefully set her outfit and the dagger that came with it aside, before entering the cold one. She still wore her silver necklace with her holy symbol on it. One might wonder if she ever took it off. When she relaxed in the hotter tub, her eyebrow raised at the comment about fun. She really didn't want to have to box anyone's ears tonight.

Female Red Fox

"I hope that was the most action we will see at this party Mother." Javiera said, as she shook her head. "I would hate to see where it would go from here, if this is merely the start. I would have brought my armor if such was the case."

Female Red Fox

Our resident Raccoon swiping things?

What a twist!

I've been doing my best to keep up with things, so don't taze me bro!

Female Red Fox

crunch crunch fizz fizz:

"Well, luckily this is training, and not the real thing. Hopefully there won't be any kind of attacks in the courtyard, but one can never be careful. And hauntings? Something happening around town that might require someone to deal with an errant spirit?" Javiera had asked, as she'd returned to the ready position. Hopefully the instructors were keeping the novices training on avoiding distractions in the heat of battle.

She nodded to Geneviève when she reveals the first word. "So, is it their motto? Or something else, I wonder. Still, the more you remember, the closer we will be to bringing more knowledge out into the light."

Female Red Fox

back to the future!:

Well, at least there was someone she could speak the same language of, and speak to, since most of the folks either paid her no mind, or were waiting for their ears to be boxed for doing something against the light.

"Greetings Mother, It is good to see more here, hopefully to keep things from getting too rowdy. Javiera said, as she bowed to the badger. "Javiera, at your service. It is good that we have you to look for the church's best interests. We wouldn't want money to go to those who do not at least try to follow the light. I know I have made a bit of a name for myself with some of the merchants recently. We will see where that goes."

When Gwennaelle appeared from behind the badger, Javiera gave her a smile and a nod. "We had the pleasure of meeting earlier. She's very zealous, and is almost ready to defend the light from the darkness."

The conversation had lasted, at least, until the attention of the room was brought onto a fight that was about to break out. Apparently, their wolf companion knew someone, and that someone had a weapon out. Before Javiera had a chance to cross the room, the man dropped his weapon onto his foot, and yelped in pain. Javiera had to hold her hands over her ears until it subsided, before she crossed the room, to lend her assistance as a healer to the injured man. Hopefully, before they removed him from the party.

Female Red Fox

I like Ceallach's plan!

Female Red Fox

Hrm. Might need Ceallach to teach me fisticuffs at some point. :)

Also, sorry I've been Away, big project at work, days off this week =0

Female Red Fox

Javiera did her best to mingle like the others. This place was definitely not her style, but she was here to provide an inspiration perhaps to any others from the church, so that they might not indulge themselves too much, and feel safe knowing that she was amongst them.

It wasn't that she was physically imposing as say, things that were larger then she, but she was well trained, and quite fit. Granted, they said no dueling tonight, but if someone did get a little to pushy, she might have to box their ears for insulting her.
