Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Folks. Our life here has been ssomewhat up ended One of our Housemate's elderly mother has been neglecting herself to the point where she has to move in. So we have been doing what we can to make the house elderly ready, make sure she's got a room set up, and prepare for the transition of having someone whose politics and beliefs are very different from our own now present.

LOADS of fun.

I'm very sorry. I would understand if you need to replace me, but feel free to bot me either way. I've been a less than stellar player on this game and you deserve better. If it were JUST this event I'd have more right to shrug it off.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

well, embarrassment abounds.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Dice for confusion: 1d100 ⇒ 5

"ow... my aching head, and..someone's equation was wrong" Focus focus.. oh yipes.

"Lull ordinare stasis orbulous..." As he invokes a Magic Circle against Chaos!

Lol! Good one. :)

Thanks. Given my dwarf is far more intelligent than I, i mostly borrowed from trek technobabble mixed with arcane stuff. Others followed it up and improved on it :)

And yikes, agree that this could get ugly

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Will Save (Assuming Dwarf bonus included): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Yikes.
Percentage roll 1d100 ⇒ 27

The wizard is caught off guard, and his mind normally so organized and tidy, becomes utterly confusion, thoughts scatter, brilliant thoughts, but now disjointed.

"The relative velocity of Arcantic energies is equal to the hypotenuse of tangerine minus serendipity times X. Let's have some pi."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak nods, "Flight First then!" Casting it as Garith directed, " Sioren can you haste them?"

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Just to see what I would roll ;)

"Hmm? What?"

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"To be twisted into a creature of the abyss.." Pakak shakes his head "And how could we not remember until... " This has scared him to the core.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Sorry about my timing then :o

Pakak whirls as Morgrm takes out his Vrock to turn to the one behind them and tries another Piercing Scream.
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 1, 5) = 13 Sonic Dmg , save to half dmg , failure is full dmg and stunned for one round, Fort DC 16

Overcome SR #1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32
Overcome Sr #2: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Good.I thought he had been left out. Now he is a high octane dwarf barbarian.

Pakak does manage a yell out, "We may need a healer for Morgyrm soon" Not that he doesn't trust the party healers to know their jobs, quite the opposite they've saved him Dozens of times, but yikes, the other dwarf has him worried.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Hang on, Morgrym" He says, invoking haste upon his fellow dwarf and himself [ooc]I'd do it on another but I think they'r out of the 30 feet range[/ooc

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak will fly closer to the foe the Vrock Mogrym battles and try to aid in a distraction and cast a spell that might, in theory, (Okay, it's a long shot) stun it.

Flying closer and if he can get in range, Ear Piercing Scream

4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 2) = 11 Sonic Dmg , save to half dmg , failure is full dmg and stunned for one round, Fort DC 16

To overcome SR as it is a demon I think the total is 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Sorry guys. I'm hitting some snags. Had to buy a new router recently and I'm not sure it's working, and now I've fallen so far behind I don't know how to get back into the swing of it

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Okay. I'm not sure why the 18 posts I was behind didn't show until today on the little read out but obviously I need to do better :o

Pakak will try a Mythic fireball to follow up on Sorien's

Mythic Fireball, reflex DC 18 for half 9d10 ⇒ (7, 5, 6, 2, 7, 2, 9, 2, 9) = 49

to overcome spell resistence 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak also nods at Garith's suggestion, "Maybe offer a tutor if we can ever throw one in who is interested."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Begins to mutter in dwarvish

Dwarvish:
"oh, sweet Torag and all the gods of knowledge. He 'knows' his numbers! Lovely. Maybe he can count lost opportunity! Maybe the muttonheaded lacklores can tell ripping good equations around the fire while stories are lost to time and the wisdom with them! Oh, they'll never learn a damned thing from those who pass early and left knowledge on paper... but at least they know their numbers. What a waste! Why not just put your brain in a chamberpot and have at for all the respect shown to a mind that could learn so much"

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak looks horrofied at what has transpired here, it's not just the acts, it's what these acts mean. This people became savages. "Can... they even read?"

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak holds his actions to see if others surrender.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak did set fire to their drake as he said it, so he may not have the moral high ground ;)

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"That's not what I meant, Stonebrother!" Pakak grumbles, "We came in peace, and should try to be peaceful when we can." And he tries to set fire to the frost drake.

Fireball Which I should be able ot do by placing it on the side of it opposite Garith and maybe a bit south

Reflex save DC 18 for half: 9d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 4, 5, 4, 3, 4, 2) = 27

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

A wince, "Try harder."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Oh bloody hell, try not to kill them, they're misintprating." Pakak says, and casts Stone skin upon Morgrym.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak whispers to Morgrym in Dwarvish,

Dwarvish:
"Easy, Morgrym. Death rarely educates the one slain. Or, to put it the human way, if you kill him he won't learn nuthin""

He does think on this title, Emerald Princess.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Alas, Pakak is too caught up in thoughts of who is going to get what closet space with his new wife in he to notice some important things in the here and now Surely she was joking when she said I only needed three clean robes anyway?

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak pats Morgrym on the shoulder as if to say don't worry, we'll do violence some other time.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak has been quiet and small during all this. Trusting others more versed in social interaction. Frankly, he'd rather be discussing arcanic recurve theory but not likely to happen here.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Just give me time to remorize a few spells."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Tieflings perhaps?" He muses aloud

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Alive.

Thanks for the well wishes folks

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak watches him vanish, "how that's not done with magic, I don't know."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

OKay. Good news, I'm a slow poster anyway so you might not notice :o

Bad news? Starting this saturday after a brief stay at my family, I will be accompanying my aging father on a road trip of over 1300 miles to retrieve two dogs and 'some' furniture.

During this i will not likely have internet, so we're looking at 8 to 9 days when I will be unable to post.

Of course, holiday traffic may really make it worse

I will try to get some in, but it seems unlikely I will be able to. Please bot me freely.

"You are returned to light, I am beyond grateful, Jeskar, to the Gods of Light and Nasira both."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Yes, if it will help Jeskar." Agreement.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak has grown silent, as if afraid anything he might say would only diminish the efforts of Nasira and Garith to save Jeskar's immortal soul.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak flies and pushes the levitating archer down to Maelchar, "I'm sorry, I tried to dispel the paralysis on Nasira to no avail." The dwarf looks distraught!

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Sorry, I thought I posted something, but I guess it didn't take. Actually, the levitate idea sounds darn good since his dispel went flat so in away this works out!

Pakak, seeing Zeriax's plight casts levitate upon the monk, "Antigo lifwa" and pulls him up ....He looks at the priest of Erastil, "Hang fast, your soul is not damned yet."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak sees their numbers dwindle in a stroke, and casts Dispel magic to remove the curse upon a friend.

Probably Nasira if he can only get one.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Instead, Pakak moves towards Garith to cast a flight spell on him...

Have to use a mythic point to restore the spell so I can cast it again, but no problem.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

would dispel magic work on the demon's flight? or is it too innate to affect with that?

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Pakak rattles off about the creature, "Ware the creature's baleful influence..." Please feel free to read the spoilers shown to me by our kind GM, only translate in it more Dwarf wiz logo.

Knowledge Planes: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30
Hoping for vulnerabilities and it's special attack info.

Pakak casts a fly spell upon himself and rises up.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"I fly," Mildly hurt, "And I'm a dwarf."

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"No, if it's like a regular dragon...if there is such a thing as 'regular' with dragons... once we closed we'd be sensed anyway.... even in the air"

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Congratulations!

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Flight and levitation perhaps? He takes the cleric's comment seriously.

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

Ah sorry, good point. Questions are, what are the best defenses against its attacks (preventing melted armor etc) and does it have any weaknesses/vulnerabilities?

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

When Pakak hears of this news (After talking to the Mrs.), he hits the book, for know power is as great as the power of knowledge!

Knowledge Arcana 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (15) + 16 = 31

Male Dwarf Wizard (Abjurer)-9 (Mythic Archmage 2)(Current HP 54/62)

"Ah, forgive, so much on my mind and I worry so much I fear I fail as a husband," He says, "And yes, my free nights and days are by right, and..." A blush, "By delight yours."
