Does this mean the final product won't include some basic stuff such as the full skill rules (taking 10, taking 20, assisting others, opposed checks, etc.)?

When buying skill ranks, are the number of ranks you can have in a single skill capped by level like in 3.x? I couldn't find a mention of it in the beta book, so I'm thinking it isn't, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks!

And my subscription items shipped today, so I should have them soon. I've looked through the .pdf's a little bit already and they look very impressive.
I just started my subscriptions too. I'm impatient for my stuff to get here and I'm wondering if one shipment a month was a poor choice for shipping. Although, I do have a copy of The Shackled City coming to me in the mail, so maybe that will tide me over until my subscription gets here.

Doh! Now I have to buy them earlier than planned, but that's okay =) I signed up for my subscription a couple days ago. If I were to buy older Adventure Path books, do I get the .pdf versions for free? Or does that deal only for each month's current book?

Congrats, Ozric. I hope you enjoy! Thanks! I've no doubt that I'll enjoy them, and I can't wait to get my first products. I just need to decide what ruleset to use with them. I'm thinking about using C&C with a simple skill and feat system bolted on, then maybe trying out the Pathfinder RPG beta when I have more free time.

If I were to get a Pathfinder Modules subscription and I buy an older module that isn't included, does it come with a free .pdf version? The product description for Into the Haunted Forest makes it sound like that's the case, but that's the only older module I've found that mentions a free .pdf version. |
