Thanks Rednal, Gorbacz. Have to think about it. I guess what I mean is if I was planning on using the combat and spell casting system to maintain a logical order of things. In the end its very unlikely to see the light of day except to some of my long suffering friends.

I am unsure on this, if I was writing a story, and wanted to base combat, spell casting etc on a Pathfinder model, is this Okay. Obviously it would not be in Golarion or use any of Paizo's setting. Are spell names OK? Same question concerning third party resources I guess.

Thanks Seannoss and calgagnar, Sandpoint was my first thought but I'm not sure that Runelords is right for my group, so I', going to go with Giantslayer and Council of Thieves is definitely not. After some reading I think the area is pretty interesting in general for future games so I'm going to go ahead with it. First up I'm going to do a topographical map of Belkzen. Hopefully Trunau is destroyed at some point in the AP lol.

I am deciding on an AP to buy, and right now I think Giantslayer is going to be it. I have one question though I want to run an AP that has a base of operations town that I can build in 3D but don't want to waste time if its showing up only in 1 module. Does Trunau feature throughout giantslayer or at least in a good chunk of the series?

I'm going to start a BB campaign with my kids 4 of them ranging from 18 to 7 and my wife. The Box only comes with 4 classes and they all want to be unique. Is there a Fifth charachter I could add. I'm not worried about scaling for the additional PC I just want to create an enjoyable experiance.

Many years ago I had a friend that claimed Dragons believed that when the cataclysm comes, that the only safety would be on top of a huge pile of gold. Superstitious lot.

Hi I'm looking to form a pathfinder group in Calgary. I have been playing via a VTT for about a year and would like to get involved in some in person gaming. I'm an old guy and would probably fit in better with a more mature crowd. I'm looking for a strong role playing group not a power gaming style. My other qualification is that I'm not interested in playing at the Sentry Box, and would prefer something in the Deep South East. I'm willing to GM if that is what is needed.
